Hey Telstra, what’s going on with the NBN services in Sydney Inner west? It’s been down for quite some time?? @Telstra #NBN

  • ivanjcunningham Ivan Cunningham (@ivanjcunningham) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@naomid_au @Telstra It really is annoying. Very difficult to get any service for us customers.

  • cbiggins Christian 💉💉💉 (@cbiggins) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

2 hours talking to @Telstra reps to activate a pre paid service. Have to go out now. How can their processes still be this bad? I just want to move everything to another provider!

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra So I should buy another service to replace a broken service I am already paying for? That sounds like a solid business model if you can pull it off.

  • s3_gunzel Ben Cousins (@s3_gunzel) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

If you ever have a bad day just remember I read Telstra as Toyota today and wondered why I was being called about a fault with a car.

  • MartinAnne139 Annie Martin AM (@MartinAnne139) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Happy to say that I rang the First Nations Hotline @Telstra and the customer service was exceptional. After several weeks of trying to get this sorted I found someone that took time to listen and sort the issue out. Thank you Sanisha you deserve a medal 🥇

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

When dealing with @Telstra, at either the commercial or consumer level, it's wise to remember their customer service ethos: You get what you get and you don't get upset.

  • mnsbutt Nafees Butt (@mnsbutt) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MichelePlayfair Seriously!!!! And people on the call keep suggesting that "everyone chip in so that Nafees can get a better Internet" as if I chose the cheapest Internet bundle to inflict this pain upon myself. While I am at it, @Telstra, please fix my reception problem.

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra The @Telstra faults person hung up on me when I insisted she contact @NBN to find out what was going on. Is the fault at my premisis, or in the area as I was previously told? As far as DMs go. I've wasted hours down that rabbit hole before, for absolutely no gain.

  • _MaxPhillips Max Phillips (@_MaxPhillips) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So @Telstra, you took $340 of my wife’s money, but cut off her phone claiming she does not have an account for the new phone you sent her. You disconnected her while our daughter has Covid & we are in lockdown. Now she’s stuck in an infinite loop of complaint handling. Hopeless!

  • onebg Glenn Sargood (@onebg) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

It's wonderful that @Telstra keeps acknowledging that there is a problem with my NBN service and fix it. I have reminisced what the old dial up services were like for long enough I am ready for the 21st century again.

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

In spite of not providing a service, @Telstra sure as hell never miss a bill. Is there no end to the agony of #Telco in #Australia. @AussieBroadband @acmadotgov

  • onebg Glenn Sargood (@onebg) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I must say whilst I am very frustrated with my NBN problems with @Telstra I am very happy with the Twitter support. I am hoping the local upgrades fix the issue very soon #veryslow #frustrating

  • FlyOpineMonkey Sir Darryl Adams (@FlyOpineMonkey) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ssharwood @NBN_Australia I would never expect to see anyone look at Telstra's horrible service system, and then set out to copy it but intentionally make it worse. But here we are. Related note: still no NBN connection in my new place...

  • douggyi 💧Doug Ingram (@douggyi) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Sandra_Sully @Telstra I hope you get a helpful response to this, Sandra. I had a similar experience in 2020 that wasn’t resolved & the 89yo man I was helping gave up. Multiple calls not returned, promises of action & follow-up never kept. Fancy ads with tinkly music mean nothing.

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

The technician came and my internet is still broken. There is an open fault ticket for the @nbn network team to fix the network tap in the pit at the front of the house. According to @Telstra, there is no ETA on the fix.

  • bwrigley BDubAus (@bwrigley) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Service became available again late yesterday afternoon.

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Native 4G on my phone just got me 106 down and 18.7 up. I get nowhere near 25/5 with the backup feature of your modem.

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

The @NBN tech came. The carrier signal strength is - 15dB. Max is - 10dB. So it's too weak to work. But it's raining, and their test equipment isn't waterproof. So they couldn't check the connection box at the side of the house. So, day off work for zip. @Telstra

  • JohnLutge John Lutge (@JohnLutge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Hi @Telstra. My internet has been down for 3 weeks. The @NBN tech was a no show for the first appointment. Just had an SMS scheduling another appt for tomorrow. The @Telstra faults operater in Australia just hung up on me. If I ran my med practice that way, I would be in jail.

@Telstra once again THE WORST!!! Placed an order on 6 December 2022 and still have not received the product on 1 March 2023. @Telstra are still selling the product online, even though they cannot fill orders FRAUD!

  • TheRealSwifty Chippin’ in (@TheRealSwifty) reported

@Telstra why do none of your gold service chat agents want to upgrade my phone and lock me back in to your services? I know what’s required. I am a gold tier customer. 10 hours. A dozen agents. And nothing. I WANT TO BE YOUR CUSTOMER! #googlepixel7 #telstra #optus

  • TheRealSwifty Chippin’ in (@TheRealSwifty) reported

@Telstra For real? Sort your own mess out don’t pretend to value me as a good customer, mess me about for 24hrs and ask me to solve the problem. Is that a joke? #news

  • __rymac Ryan (@__rymac) reported

@JB_AU @Telstra tbh they probably got sick of free loaders sitting on grandfathered contracts. The word ‘may’ is going to be doing a lot of work here too. At the end of the day, why is anyone in a capital cities with Telstra? so many better offers on the market which use Telstra’s network.
