Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hazelbrook and nearby locations:

  • GailClifford7 Gail Clifford (@GailClifford7) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@JanetGoss @iborgward @Telstra I get them all the time too, I invested in a cheap answering machine, I never answer the landline unless I know the number that comes up. It’s only very elderly relatives that ever call it anyway, the scammers always hang up when the machine kicks in! Mine’s silent too.

  • lhighbrow Daniel Brear (@lhighbrow) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

If you want your issue presented, present your issue. The message going to @NSWFarmers and @NSWYF at today's advocacy panel @Telstra insight centre. #NSWFarmersAC19

  • willdeasy Will Deasy (@willdeasy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@fictillius @Telstra Watch out for trees may block signal 😋

  • nuenp Newbie_I_Am (@nuenp) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Tonight marks another @Telstra #fail. Simple request to port a no. over and it has taken a week to do! Then I find out the the issue is from @Telstra end #WTF. Moving my services to @Optus #incompetent #telstrafail

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @strebormt @Telstra @ScottMorrisonMP It's not Telstra....it's LNP Government crap NBN, totally destroyed by Abbott/MT/Murdoch

  • EBoultonSmith Emily Boulton Smith ebssportsphysio (@EBoultonSmith) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Increasingly annoying that the Netball Live app will only work with WiFi. Even with full 4G signal it says my signal is too weak - rubbish! Can’t keep up to date with scores let alone watch livestream - Come On Telstra! @SuperNetball

  • gld299 Grant (@gld299) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MJEagle23 @Telstra Block the number if not just hang up on them

  • DemonicVel Vel (@DemonicVel) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@LurkingWolfox @hendikins Depending on how plans shape up next year might switch to optus. I have 0 issues with the Telstra network, and you couldnt pay me to ever use Vodafone again as their coverage in the train to work is useless.

  • jochichester Jo Chichester (@jochichester) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Was at home. Wasn’t casting just trying to use the app on the TV but it didn’t recognize my login & instruction to go to website diverted back to Telstra. Very confusing & this twitter exchange is more helpful than both companies websites or call centres.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@PoneSc0p3 @ComissionerKate Telstra isn't great, just a marketing exercise......no idea of service, but best of a bad bunch

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@SkyNewsAust @Telstra @andy_penn @BizTicky @NBN_Australia It's overpriced & worthless now.....totally stuffed up by LNP Government & Murdoch, providers fees too high, write it down & "fix" it

  • jochichester Jo Chichester (@jochichester) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I can’t subscribe to it because the Foxtel website keeps redirecting me to my Telstra login. There’s no chat service like Apple has to fix it, just “community” which is useless. When finally get to a person on phone each say go to website. So I’ve given up and will just use Go.

  • jochichester Jo Chichester (@jochichester) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Barrawensdy1 @Telstra @Foxtel Yes I got that far - but neither could help my get it! I’ve since discovered I can watch the show I was seeking on Foxtel Go. But the Play issue was an hour I’ll never get back.

  • GailClifford7 Gail Clifford (@GailClifford7) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@JanetGoss @iborgward @Telstra The other thing they do is tell you to go to your computer and log in, they then talk you through a ‘fix’ for a non existent problem. What they are in fact doing is gaining access to bank account details, logins, passwords etc. A number of people have been caught, always hang up!

  • stevenandlizzy Steven (@stevenandlizzy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I’d forgotten how poor your call centre was having not been a customer for the last few years. Have to say how poor the experience was and so so much background noise #terrible

  • bedeomara74 Bede O'Mara (@bedeomara74) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@bogga1967 @jlaycock55 Still on Telstra outage Houlty sorry.

  • Andycee007 Bond the Dog (@Andycee007) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra your fkn mobile service is utter shit! This is coming from a place where you are suppossed to get fkn service you gronks!

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra The signal is fine. There’s just no data. Travel through in off peak and you’ll get 100Mbps. During peak hour can’t even ping

  • jochichester Jo Chichester (@jochichester) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

It’s really hard to know who to hate more @Telstra or @Foxtel. I’ve been paying for Foxtel for years, but cannot get FoxtelPlay as both company’s consultants tells me it’s the other one I should talk to. Thank god EVERY OTHER streaming service is easier.

  • jochichester Jo Chichester (@jochichester) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Thank you for your help. My frustration was at boiling point. Nice that Telstra has the socials right.

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BillLord2 Bill Lord (@BillLord2) reported

@Cannulator @Telstra Have you considered Boost? Stuck with a Telstra for years but now get cheaper rates with greater mobile data on the same network

  • samanthamaiden Samantha Maiden (@samanthamaiden) reported

@AmberMaySchultz That was because John Howard did a secret deal with Brian Harradine to restrict the use in exchange for support to privatise Telstra

  • yumbarli Kathleen Simpson (@yumbarli) reported

@timinclimate I agree. Stupid ifea.Did we not learn anything from Telstra, Qantas, electricity companies....

  • themichaelmcc Michael McC (@themichaelmcc) reported

@BillLord2 @Cannulator @Telstra Aldi likewise. Same network, great prices. If you have to get new handset + plan, go through JB hi-fi. They'll do cashback deals on the handset so you get it outright on a Telstra plan.

  • JosieMcskimming Dr Josie McSkimming 💉💉 💉 🐦🌳🌈🌿🕸 (@JosieMcskimming) reported

Navigating big bureaucracies after a loved one has died is very challenging. It is painful & upsetting. After the death of my parents, I’ve dealt extensively with @Telstra, @Westpac - but the worst & most obstructive of them all is @BupaAustralia. 1/

  • MaryTay49866112 Mary Taylor (@MaryTay49866112) reported

@SarkySage Excellent! If we have nearly 1/2 our population who are for privatising everything, I don’t see how this could be criticised. We need to get back more of our major service providing companies this way. The first one should be Qantas. Then Telstra.

  • shaboop Helly (@shaboop) reported

@GladysB The iiNet/TPG merger was a horrid day. iiNet went to **** and I expect Telstra to follow. Go Aussie Broadband instead, faster speeds and this is coming from an ex-iiNet employee!

  • SueBursztynski Sue Bursztynski (@SueBursztynski) reported

@Russputin2 These days I let the (landline) phone ring to Messagebank. But yes, I used to get people with Indian accents and Anglo names calling to say they were from Telstra or tell me there were problems with my Internet. They still call my mother’s phone. She

  • Gary_AE Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

Just spent another 2 plus hours dealing with @Telstra s useless phone app as the the case manager decided not to call me back as promised. Utterly useless service.

  • Cannulator The Cannulator™ *Not available in stores. (@Cannulator) reported

@BillLord2 @Telstra We need new phones, so will consider all offers I think this time. They make the dearer phones 24 rather than 36 months which is deceptively shifty and customer loyalty means little.
