    It’s taken 53minutes for a Telstra live chat representative to tell me that the fault is with my modem.... God I hope that’s the worst of it.

    @Optus Thanks Jono. I freakin LOVE your network and have never once had an issue Optus and should not have signed a new bloody contract with Telstra...lesson learned.... 😓

    @dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

    @RonniSalt @Telstra yep, I got the tech turning up in 1 day, I told them their pit was just outside my house, and I would go and replace the connection to my place myself. They made all sorts of threats, but I got the issue fixed the next day. Replaced the wall socket myself, didn't want to wait.

    @Optus Yeah thanks Jack but those maps don't represent anything approaching reality out here ... hot-spotted my partner's Telstra phone and fine for the rest of the trip ... thanks for trying but the Optus network is useless outside of metropolitan areas ... ditching it this month

    @RonniSalt @Telstra I was on “hold” via their app for 7 hours - to arrange a technician to fix my parents internet issue , one parent is severely deaf and has special equipment- but this is not in anyway priority. Appalling.

    @last_jones @Telstra I'm just sick of the double-standards. These corporations reserve the right to put up the price whenever they like without warning. But if Idecide to pay less whenever I like,they'll unleash the debt-collecting hounds on me&give me a bad credit rating. It's unacceptable treatment

    @RonniSalt @Telstra It took us 6 weeks to move my Mum away from Telstra; they immediately cut off her landline (which all her friends use) & it took hours & hours of being on hold & passed from pillar to post. Finally resolved & on last call was asked “is there anything else we can help you with?”

    @lucienlolz @RonniSalt @Telstra Condescending bastards & definitely not what you pay for. They seem to disregard loyalty as a matter of course; same attitude as private health insurance; unable to justify fee increases despite help from taxpayers, who cant afford their insurance, they rudely dismiss enquiries.
