@Telstra well done on another day of no internet . You can text us about a bill reminder but you can’t fix a simple outage. You update when it will be fixed and you expect me to pay for a service that I am not receiving . #notgoodenoughtelstra

@jendudley I had a @Telstra tech over yesterday, his boss joined him for a chat - 60m of chatting 15m of getting actual work done. 20m explaining it's not good job but he'll do it. Hope he made it to his next customer. It only took me 4 appointments and five weeks to get 10mbs

@Telstra I already have . This is absolutely just so stupid that you want me to chase you to get an answer . @telstra don’t ask me to pay my bill until I get the service that I pay for .

Telstra saga part 3. Then we were sent to the back of the queue Possibly the worst service and company I have ever dealt with. Absolutely hopeless. Trying to run a business with no internet for 3 months. Useless organisation @billshortenmp @DavidLeydon1

@billshortenmp And Bill did you know yesterday Telstra dropped a bombshell in the core network design contractors by not giving them a contract for design. It’s being done off - shore in India. So effectively hundreds of Aussie jobs gone @billshortenmp @DavidLeydon1

@Telstra Telstra has just billed me for tech support please check your bill as they charge for services they promise are free but still don’t resolve your issue what a joke look up Telstra in the dictionary and it says pathetic service supplier

@Telstra You’ve billed - we just can’t see it. You don’t attach it to your emails and we can’t get into it. Even the support guy we spoke to can’t get into it. Then your reminder emails also don’t mention the balance due. I’ve wasted hours on EVERY BILLING CYCLE FOR 20 YEARS.

@Telstra Thx Dylan but I can’t be bothered. I’ve done it too many times to be honest. Im 13km from the city centre, this is a service I pay a lot of money for and I should not have to call you to give me the service I am paying for!

@Telstra I would suggest that you take your idea and put it it somewhere . I don’t want smart arse messages I want my service to be fixed . You have already lost some of our business and will be losing the rest of our business .

@Telstra The amount of absolute ineptitude I have experienced with telstra today is incredible. See this so what happens when you outsource jobs at the cost of customer service. You make your entire customer base suffer. ALL I WANT TO DO IS REPORT AN OUTAGE.

@Telstra The outages show up occasionally but not all the time. It is out right at the moment for example but there is no outage listed. Our internet used to be so reliable :(

@billshortenmp Well surprise surprise!! It’s pretty evident now coz Telstra are off -shoring core network design and telling Australian contractors to match Indian contract rates or lose the contract. Aussie jobs Aussie wages not Indian wages takes again libs- never trust a lib

Hey @Telstra, how about doing your part for supporting Australians in the pandemic recovery and you know.... Hiring Australians and bringing call centres back on shore again. It might look cheaper to use offshore centres, but the damage and rework isn't really worth it.
-
Robert Hudson
(@manaz_d) reported
@Telstra What is the issue? How does it present, what's the ETA on resolution? Sorry to ask here, but your support staff are hopeless!

@FootyonNine Don’t think this is a new thing, 18yr member and never went to Colonial/Telstra/Etihad/Marvel even before our era of success, it’s just an awful place to watch footy...Its just a commercial enterprise that has no character & has been plagued with problems. compare it to Optus...
-
Robert Hudson
(@manaz_d) reported
@Telstra @SouthCoastLeese @bigpond Because one of the "troubleshooting" steps taken by your helpdesk staff was to change account passwords - kinda pointless if the service has issues itself (and is causing flow-on effects where multiple devices now have to have setting needlessly changed).
-
Joel Hill
(@krunchymoses) reported
Because Telstra are cowards here's a PSA - their mail servers are down but webmail still works. Use that until they get it going again. @Telstra y'all should be doing this instead of staying so quiet.

@Telstra @SouthCoastLeese @bigpond What problems, exactly? Webmail's nice, but is not a long-term solution.

@krunchymoses @Telstra Honesty ain't something that comes naturally, you NEVER hear about the stuff that's important but they (and others like them) are the 1st to tell us when they believe they've dun good 😖

Willow A

Hi @telstra, so are y'all going to fix the bigpond issues today? or do all of us who rely on it going into desktop email clients like outlook and are affected by your server being wonky going to struggle again today and be told unhelpful things like change our passwords/address?
-
Willow A
(@WillowA2) reported
@ChrisBe54385683 @Telstra @JalnaGrove So it's not just me then.... have been doing webmail as a workaround [which is also glitching a bit] because outlook keeps saying server taking too long or it can't contact it (issues webmail doesn't report, but it's pretty obvious it's not updating on schedule). REALLY NOT OK.
