Luqman | 🍁 (@194_luqman) reported from Officedale, Victoria@woopdedoo652 @Telstra can you get someone who isn’t a robot to help the Unicorn out. Unicorn had a hailstorm destroy her fixed wireless. I don’t think doing a modem reboot is going to fix it ey.

Dave Jones (@eevblog) reported@asphotos Science isn't going to help when the system is clogged because the NBN is down and many thousands of people are trying to find workarounds. Telstra in the park has collapsed, and Optus is struggling.

Daniel Borrowman (@DanielBorrowman) reported@Telstra @Mention When did it become normal to be unable to simply visit the Telstra website or app to download a bill or view your calls and data usage? All you can do is download a few random receipts. Telstra Support claims, and I quote, “oh this is normal now…” I’m sorry to say Telstra but you’ve been infiltrated. Perhaps you should investigate the current and all past complaints and you’ll likely find some interesting information in the touch logs. 129472997 128259673 117509219

davie ewan macdonald (@escalatorover) reported.@Telstra In 2025 I had an issues with Telstar email outgoing server to my desktop. Eventually after 8 weeks Telstra finally accepted they were a cause of the dysfunction of my application. Today after 7 weeks I have had cause to write the following to Telstra. Dear Help Desk (Vicki Brady) Last Thursday and I don't know if it was in response to my previous write message (ONE OF SEVERAL) I was via text/sms promised a support call. New Case/reference Number 129518320 I have heard nothing! This issue with your server connectivity to my desk top application, encryption to your server incoming to my app means this matter has been ongoing now for 7 weeks. In April/May 2025 it took Telstra 8 weeks to accept responsibility. In the meantime I have been struggling with Webmail and today I can report in detail recorded over the past 3 days 11 (Eleven) separate bugs in webmail that are repeated multiple times amounting to 21 (Twenty One) cases of dysfunctional instances this morning. These issues reported at least as far back as 2023 but were again at various times over the past 7 (Seven) weeks. Only with a desktop application can these issues be minimized. The last consultant prior to my message of last week was highly disingenuous with me saying he would keep the case open until I as I offered to do again consult MS about the issues . The outcome was he simply closed the case as reported to you Tuesday last. DM's not accepted. Here is fine. Nothing to hide

Natasha (@Natasha19317558) reported@AlanBixter @Telstra I betcha Malcolm Turnbull doesn’t have any internet problems. Didn’t Turnbull 🎩downgrade us plebs from fibre to the node to copper in our gutter?

JW (@Judyw561) reported@AlanBixter @Telstra But it barely gives our public transport issues a run for the money.

Vernon Deer (@D64861Deer) reported@Totally4yeah @Tank9999 I have bottle gas for cooking & a wood fire stove (about 80yrs old) for cooking and heating in winter and a wood heater, evap cooling and use town water. Even the batteries are secondhand, most from Telstra swap-outs. Have had 1 battery fail in 25 years.

Max (@diss_presso) reported@BrowntownBrew @robb_j_m In some cases. They would pay Telstra to use the pits, or Telstra itself would install fibre. This is an issue all over the world. We’re simply trading one monopoly (Telstra) for another (NBN). But there’s nothing to stop another company in theory from running their own fibre in dense areas - but not now of course, as they wouldn’t be allowed to undercut the NBN (hence the stupid NBN has actually made it so internet cannot be cheaper than how much they say it should be - law of unintended consequences - now the law is literally making cheap internet illegal).
