  • cpjones44 Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@darrenbennett76 @Telstra Have you looked into a range booster? I know they exist and can be legally used. Might be costly, but cheaper than dealing with second tier support.

  • poidahdubya Poidah Dubya (@poidahdubya) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra hi my home cable internet is not working. Tried chatting on Telstra 24x7 on the app but no responses there.

  • martincedes Martin - #BLM 🖤 (@martincedes) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Thanks @telstra for your ****** service throughout the years but it’s time to say goodbye. After four 40min phone calls trying to solve the worst NBN speed (and let’s just add you weren’t even able to figure out what account we were talking about) 1/2

  • lousanti Lous (@lousanti) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra looks like you are at it again. Want to cancel Foxtel, almost impossible. Telling me my service number is incorrect. Would like to speak to someone but guess what, Telstra don’t employ humans! Utterly pathetic!

  • georgie874 Georgie (@georgie874) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Good to see Telstra still haven't been able to sort their useless coverage out in the CBD. Why am I paying for 5G when 4g can't even send a msg. #Worst

  • alexmakin Alex Makin (@alexmakin) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@DarkMatterzine @Telstra Likewise, the trouble with no many Australian industries is that genuine competition does not exist. It's often a choice of who is less worse than the others, not which is actually good in terms of service.

  • _rachel_kelly Rachel Kelly (@_rachel_kelly) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra as always an enlightening experience trying to get a hold of someone. Call and get cut off and sent an SMS. Absolutely hilarious. Can someone send me the link to cancel my Telstra service.

  • Cashcharlie Cashel Walsh (@Cashcharlie) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

Let’s just say for a telecommunications company @telstra has a customer service response that leaves you expecting where the communication bit comes in.

  • Dlanorx Arrr Nelly’s son 👀 🦘➡️🇦🇺 (@Dlanorx) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Telstra How do you sort out your problem, when your NBN is not working. Your modem has diverted to mobile which as usual is extremely poor, so no service, but your mobile phone is diverting to wifi. How and who do you contact?

  • cpjones44 Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@darrenbennett76 @Telstra I have a Apple Watch Series 4 and pay $5/mth to activate it on the network. It works flawlessly. I also like the $5 per day roaming for when I used to travel. I don’t understand how people persist with Telstra. You must have an extreme level of patience 2/2

@Telstra my sim is not able receive or dial a call. Plz help.

  • cpjones44 Chris Jones (@cpjones44) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@darrenbennett76 @Telstra I switched to Telstra after being with Optus for years thinking I’d be right with “best 4G network”. I had calls drop out in CBD, no reception at the back of my house in Heathmont. Telstra support were hopeless. After two weeks I moved Vodafone and have never looked back 1/2

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Wraiyth Matt Stafford (@Wraiyth) reported

Doing a service check in my suburb with both Optus and Telstra, who both report there are service issues in my suburb. @Aussie_BB are saying that there are no outages. How are some ISPs capable of reporting an outage, but others are not?

  • DawsonEJ Emma Dawson (@DawsonEJ) reported

So! Here’s my day on a plate. Have a piece to file by 2pm. Internet has been down all night. Contact Telstra… 3 hours later, internet still not back on but we have a shiny new NBN contract, for more than we paid before for the same service on the same cable infrastructure. 1/2

  • NotTenX Not10x (@NotTenX) reported

@indolentdandy @ABCaustralia 100% agree and I've questioned @ABCAustralia, relatively politely, on that exact point via their feedback address. They never reply (their utter indifference towards the Aus citizens who pay them is at Telstra levels). But for now, us of fake logins poisons their collected data

  • iOSBrett Brett May (@iOSBrett) reported

@Telstra She tried one Telstra shop and they were extremely rude and unhelpful. So she drove to Dandenong and they were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Sorted out in 10 mins in person, we have been trying with phone support for nearly 2 months.

  • vaguecuz RG vague (@vaguecuz) reported

@Telstra yes they didnt fix it

  • belindam73 Belinda McLeod (@belindam73) reported

  • Cannulator The Cannulator™ *Not available in stores. (@Cannulator) reported

@maryakate @georgiecrozier Triple Zero is a seperate entity to target emergency services. PMG/Telstra haven’t run call taking. They direct the call to the agnecy requested.

  • S_P_N_6_6_6 whatever (@S_P_N_6_6_6) reported

@droverdriver61 Check out ALDI and their deals. Their lowest monthly deal is $15 a month. Not sure how much data that includes though. I have a family plan with them, 6 phones attached for $110 a month and 120G between us. ALDI uses Telstra network so coverage is decent where I am.

  • Plmg53 Hazel (@Plmg53) reported

@DawsonEJ @Telstra This was our experience in similar circumstances late last year and it took weeks, and many wasted hours to sort out. The customer service people are polite and well trained but the systems they work with don’t work. Good luck!

  • Stephen78250313 stephen mcgrath (@Stephen78250313) reported

@DawsonEJ Sorry to say this… but I had a similar issue and it was 5 weeks of hell and 20 hours of phone torture… you know me, we worked together… a mild jolly fellow… not after the Telstra experience…
