It’s taken 53minutes for a Telstra live chat representative to tell me that the fault is with my modem.... God I hope that’s the worst of it.

@Telstra_news @TelstraEnt @Telstra are usually pretty quick to contact you when you don’t pay for their service...but they’re pretty bloody slow when their service sucks and you make multiple requests for assistance. Cmon, it’s 2019 and a week w/out internet shouldn’t happen

@dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

@CaseyBriggs @mscott Wish i could watch the news and feel informed but @Telstra have had another drop out and so far 20 minutes on hold, it might be Monday before help. Why dont i work from home in COVID 19, 3 months of unexplained and unfixed dropouts

@Telstra Exchange and that lazy NBN techs " borrow" my good pair when they can't be arsed looking for another and i get a crappy pair on it's place. The fibre spur from Wodonga runs down my driveway and on to the East Coast I have been shown the tap in point in my neighbours paddock

@Vaccineswork21 @Optus I’ve never had incentives and I absolutely loathe them due to their poor customer service and bad coverage however Telstra is worse and Optus data bundling is great, have over 100gb of mobile data a month.

@Carmilla5 Mine say Melbourne numbers but are clearly in India or somewhere once I answer. They are mostly saying they’re from Telstra. I’ve had the same number forever and have never had scammers

@NBN_Australia why is telstra saying you MUST come to my house to enable the connection. I have plugged in the equipment and checked myself that the links all come up. the only piece to do is enable the gateway which is a back end software enablement. We’re in a lock down…

@btckr NBN paid a fortune for Optus' and Telstra's HFC networks when the advice from their own engineers was these networks are worthless. Then they paid a shitload more for Telstra's copper network. Turnbull stuffed the NBN full of ex-telstra executives who had a ton of telstra stock.

@btckr I've got fixed wireless It took 4 years and getting the council to fix huge trees which were in the way of the signal but it's great 70 mbits No thanks to Telstra who did nothing Thanks to skymesh who had it running in 10 days

@Telstra ADSL postcode 2221 and there is no outages. Avg speed over the past 2 years has been 2 - 3 mgbs down load speed. Your technicians have come out previously and unable to resolve the speed issue.
