    It’s taken 53minutes for a Telstra live chat representative to tell me that the fault is with my modem.... God I hope that’s the worst of it.

    @Telstra It's as much to do with the coverage inside as it is to do with the reception in my street and the surrounding streets. My neighbours all have the same problem I can stand in the middle of the road 200m from my house and have the same problem.

    @BernieKuran @DanielAndrewsMP Don't forget Howard's selling off Telstra included infrastructure. As public entity they were legislated to keep the network in top shape and had already started rolling out fibre on key trunks at time of T1 in 97. Privatisation ended their commitment to taxpayers.

    @Telstra I noticed I could make calls on Saturday. This is an ongoing issue in the local area. Something to do with the only mobile tower that covers this village and constant maintenance. Thanks for checking in.

    Right, cancelling my @Telstra account (which Telstra linked to a TIO complaint about an entirely unrelated prepaid SIM) has allowed them to refund me without validating my identity against the unrelated account. Great success!

    @exetel I have been trying for TWO DAYS to activate the new Telstra Sim cards, today calling Exetel Tech Support TWICE AND I still have NO SERVICE. Really? Its 2021, NOT 1984! PATHETIC
