    @Telstra Thanks Tanasha, advised that I pay next bill incl the $15 fine & then seek a reimbursement. That is not acceptable & I refuse to waste further time over a @telstra error. The fine should not be charged in the first place - I alerted #Telstra to the issue!

    @djshaneday @Telstra Ordinarily no but knew wouldn’t be able 2 pay next bill on date, @telstra advise no ‘top-ups’ b4 them issuing bill so DD next option. Dutifully signed up, due date came, no debit at midnight, rang, told their fault, I had paid up, but ‘fined’ $15. Never,ever DD w @telstra peeps!

    @Telstra We have tried. @Telstra referred us to our provider, TPG, who in turn have referred us to the NBN. It’s been 5 days as we still have no service.

    @Telstra Understood. However, as @telstra disconnected our service instead of our vacating neighbours, I would hope they could assist in rectifying the issue and reconnecting us.

    @DocB__ @iiNet @Aussie_BB We use Aussie BB, they have provided excellent support on Macleay Island. We dropped Telstra after decades of substandard service.

    So interesting experiencing the bureaucracy of some AUS companies. I'm an existing Telstra customer... just took +30 minutes+ on the phone to add home internet service. They deemed determined to make the process as grueling as possible.

    @Telstra I wouldn't say that. The guy we spoke to couldn't help at all beyond suggesting we submit a complaint. Just want the phone. And also a credit to reverse the fact we've been charged for the phone for the last 6 weeks but don't actually have it

    @Telstra day 4 still nothing really I wonder how much effect the parlous risible Telstra 'repair' service and indeed its 'customer service' more broadly has on national productivity? It is sure affecting mine.... and no response whatsoever to twitter calls [5] emails .....
