@Schoto @Telstra My late mum joined the PMG at age 16. She retired from Telecom -Telstra after 47 yrs. I have her service medal still. I think I’ll bin it. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind. My 80yo mother in law is now thinking about driving from Beaudesert to Jimboomba to sort this out at Telstra shop

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra @abc730 @4corners I wish someone would do some investigative journalism into exactly the extent TELSTRA has gone to isolate itself from the problems it has created! I have been waiting over a month for a service promised “a few days” ANDREW PENN is a fraud! Hapless

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra @malcolmconn Further they have created barriers to any customer being able to directly speak to anyone who MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP!

  • pkfrancis Paul Francis (@pkfrancis) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@KeeniMaree Thank you. I'm generally a happy Telstra customer - mobile is fine - but I'm very over having to follow exactly the same script (from the start) with broadband support- multiple times with no resolution or follow up. Wfh, critical to have solid connection! Appreciate the feedback

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra why have I been waiting more than 6 weeks for connection to a bigpond internet connection? Why is there no urgency or customer feedback? Telstra is hopeless!

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

    @Telstra help please

  • FlatEarthGang Dystopian Dirt Cowboy 🤠 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

My wife is trying to connect to @telstra to report her mother’s faulty landline📞. After 27 hoops, forward rolls, backflips they are now testing OUR line. This whole ludicrous process is surely designed to make people hang up in frustration. 2 hours on hold last night no response

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Telstra is an inept organisation, focused more on public relations that fixing its problems

  • ShonaDrechsler Shona Drechsler 🐮🇦🇺🐴 (@ShonaDrechsler) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra @Telstra_news WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH MOBILE COVERAGE on Broadbeach, QLD. For the last 48 hours the call connects but you cannot hear anything. FIX IT!! We are paying for your 💩 service!! 🤬

  • Cowboy_2526 Simon Jackson (@Cowboy_2526) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra But you don’t respond to reply, your customer service just isn’t there, it’s pathetic

  • pkfrancis Paul Francis (@pkfrancis) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

Thoughts on switching to Aussie Broadband? Am with Telstra (on NBN) and the dropouts are ridiculous. Conscious it'll reuse a lot of the same infrastructure but even the customer service has to be better??!

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra @malcolmconn Did you know that Telstra has someone responding (with platitudes) to this public relations vehicle 24x7x365! Yet the technical team that would respond to an individual customer works only M-F 8-4pm !

  • jdw_86 jdw86 (@jdw_86) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@OAICgov can you help with @Telstra poor handling of customer data?

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra TLS! CEO ANDREW (no idea) aka ANDY Penn-these guys have set up complete isolation because they KNOW the customers will be unhappy! Will want help, and they have ZERO intention of meeting their obligations or commitments! These guys are inept!

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra hello telstra... how can I get ANY HELP! How long do I have to wait for my house to be connected? I bought it nearly 2 months ago! Requested connect before settlement! It’s a reconnect! Why no response? Why no customer focus?

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra BOTS ARE NOT THE ANSWER! I applied to Telstra to establish a broadband at my new address before December 5! I now a month later have a house full of teenagers in a rainy day and no ******* internet! Why can Optus or vodaphone provide fast service, and Telstra not?

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra $tls is the most inept company in the world! Devoid of customer service, it has complete isolation from its customers because “they will only complain”! And complain because the service is ******!

  • 476a803ed32c438 Peter Ison (@476a803ed32c438) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra no NBN connection and 4G extremely slow at Banora Point

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I continue wait for this hopeless organisation to deliver their promises! I have been waiting now 6 weeks for internet to be connected to my house! No feedback, no response! And yesterday I get told “oh, it has been through provisioning yet” and when I ask wtf, silence!

  • Qldstew Bat’s (@Qldstew) reported from Tweed Heads, State of New South Wales

@Telstra The bigpond systems are ******! The bill goes up incessantly, the service goes down! I ring to cancel and get shunted to a bot! Sell $tls they are doomed!

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MrBlairHughes Blair Hughes (@MrBlairHughes) reported

@Ben_Searle @mickmurray23 Yeah agreed. Most is 15 sec or even 2 X 15 secs then mid and post roll ads but that's fine on 30 mins to hour long content. When we started selling to Telstra/AFL they never saw the potential of ads in podcasting now I see ads everywhere and saturation.

  • FGecolarge FG (@FGecolarge) reported

@Telstra My previous reply deleted after taking so long to get through on the network. Yes it has 4g and it kicked in and was sooooooooooo slow I put everyone on Vodafone. That was yesterday - today its still slow and variable - so right now its unusable and everyone is back on vodafone

  • RobWats93841701 Rob Watson (@RobWats93841701) reported

@Telstra is their an outage in South Yarra at the moment on the internet?

  • MarcusHenry18 Henry18 (@MarcusHenry18) reported

@Telstra Don’t worry, I will cancel the whole farking lot once I get this sorted. You do not deserve my business.

  • steedencentral LOL NSW (@steedencentral) reported

@IanSyson I cracked the shits after 17 years with Optus. Switched to Telstra - it’s been great with the exception of the clueless subcontinentals who run customer service

  • greg_kennedy10 Feral Hermit. I still wear a mask. (@greg_kennedy10) reported

Phone scammers from "Telstra", Phone scammers from charities I've never heard of. All can FO today, I've had enough calls.

  • bmaimers A/Prof Brett Aimers (@bmaimers) reported

@Telstra I’ve sent my case number through. I’d love to hear from someone, not have to receive yet another modem and experience more delays in receiving what is a basic service.

  • bmaimers A/Prof Brett Aimers (@bmaimers) reported

@Telstra I’ve tried changing to a Telstra internet plan since mid June (yes, June…) You have bungled 4 orders, I have 3 modems on my office floor and no WiFi. You’ve just switched off the 4G back up and tell me I have no internet until Friday. #appalling #unprofessional #poor

  • FionaLakeAus Fiona Lake (@FionaLakeAus) reported

OK another new poxy trend - social media posts spruiking 'invitation only' events. Eg drones in the EU, @Telstra Vantage, and now a flood design workshop. Are we entering a new era of exclusivity, or just bad manners (telling people about parties they're not allowed to attend)?

  • garethrhughes Gareth Hughes (@garethrhughes) reported

So after all that faffing about it actually works with @Telstra now and I'm too tired of this to actually try transferring anywhere else. But generally eSIMS seem to be beyond the capabilities of Australian Telcos to actually support.
