Sacha Bodell (@thatsachagirl) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra I logged a case 10 days ago after months of issues and multiple store visits, and I’m still yet to get a response... please look into this for me?
-
Dystopian Dirt Cowboy 🤠 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandMy wife is trying to connect to @telstra to report her mother’s faulty landline📞. After 27 hoops, forward rolls, backflips they are now testing OUR line. This whole ludicrous process is surely designed to make people hang up in frustration. 2 hours on hold last night no response
-
Paul Francis (@pkfrancis) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@KeeniMaree Thank you. I'm generally a happy Telstra customer - mobile is fine - but I'm very over having to follow exactly the same script (from the start) with broadband support- multiple times with no resolution or follow up. Wfh, critical to have solid connection! Appreciate the feedback
-
Vicki Russell (@VickiRussell62) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@mightymouse1908 @Telstra That sounds about right. They have no understanding of what customer service is anymore. 🤬
-
Vicki Russell (@VickiRussell62) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@ccbigglesworth @Telstra That’s just awful.
-
ConservativeVoice✈️ (@conserv1951) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@australian Who would ever want to work for this dictatorship? Telstra has a bad name already. He just added reputation all damage to the brand.
-
Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@BrittMezher @Telstra I really feel for you. I can't tell you the pain Telstra has inflicted on me over the years. I intend to never engage with them ever again

-
Vicki Russell (@VickiRussell62) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandWell done @Telstra Your staff admit, in store, they did the wrong thing, but refuse to fix it. Lodge a complaint on my behalf and refuse to give me a copy. I refuse to leave the store without a copy. Your staff call the police. Great customer service. #Telstradonotcare
-
░A░d░a░m░ (@SparkyDenied) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Tuxy81 Probably the easiest way to get him down from Telstra Tower

Jason (@RaiZdbyDINGOES) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@OrdinaryGamers I waiting for the day I get a cold call from an Indian telemarketer, and I get "Hello, my name is Mutahar from Telstra, How can I help you?"
-
Simon Jackson (@Cowboy_2526) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra But you don’t respond to reply, your customer service just isn’t there, it’s pathetic
-
Aaron Whyte 🇦🇺♠️💾 (@mebsites) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@samstrades @Telstra agreed it was there best means of support by a mile... but might as well keep all support/sales at the same rock bottom level which is ******!
-
David Brown (@db0984) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra Damage is already done. I’ve been on 24/7 chat via the app and telstra basically put the ownership back onto me when it was @Telstra’s error. So in our chat conversation we agreed to disagree and what should have been a credit back on onto my account turned to a tio complaint
-
Shona Drechsler 🐮🇦🇺🐴 (@ShonaDrechsler) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra @Telstra_news WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH MOBILE COVERAGE on Broadbeach, QLD. For the last 48 hours the call connects but you cannot hear anything. FIX IT!! We are paying for your 💩 service!! 🤬
-
Julia (@JuliaBTempler) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandAfter a long and satisfactory relationship with @Telstra I’ve been informed that if I want to continue as a customer I must set up a direct debit. This may well be a win for Telstra’s business model but I’m very much struggling to see any positives for me, is it a trust issue?
-
Vicki Russell (@VickiRussell62) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@jillianmcarroll This one was a actual Telstra shop not a franchise. I asked. And it makes it even more frustrating when @Telstra staff don’t know what good customer service is.
-
Dystopian Dirt Cowboy 🤠 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Schoto @Telstra My late mum joined the PMG at age 16. She retired from Telecom -Telstra after 47 yrs. I have her service medal still. I think I’ll bin it. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind. My 80yo mother in law is now thinking about driving from Beaudesert to Jimboomba to sort this out at Telstra shop
-
Andrew Mackey (@sweatandiron) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandIt sucks that I can’t use @disneyplus on my @telstra TV tbh.
Telstra Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Jenny Mitchell (@JenEm148) reported@GongGasGirl @amaysim I use Belong. Still uses Telstra network which is more reliable and widespread than the others. Have had Vodafone in the recent past and reception was pretty terrible. Data gifting is excellent idea and I gift mine to B1 regularly.
-
Perry Cunningham (@pezzanator1) reported@groovemooves @DamoSC Don't know and hell no. Iinet. I worked for telstra for exactly 4 weeks in 2006 and will never be their customer as a result.
-
Chuffy | E9S is PvP (@CMYKChuffy) reportedTelstra charging for a solution to it’s own shitty internet is hilarious and awful at the same time
-
Dr Eric Levi, FRACS (@DrEricLevi) reported@GongGasGirl @amaysim I’m with Aldi mobile. They use Telstra network so it’s been good for me.
-
Ash (@absmith_89) reported@Telstra Is someone able to help me with activating mobile on my Apple Watch? Telstra Support is yet to respond.
-
Leonora (@Leonora_MP) reported@GongGasGirl I use Aldi for my phone and the coverage is good too, because they use the Telstra network.
-
hellomynameis Dr Deanne (@drdeannechiu) reported@GongGasGirl I switched from Telstra to Belong which was started as their carbon neutral division but is also marketed as no frills/cheap/youth service. Essentially the same service for 1/4 of the price. I don't work rural/remote any more so the 1% extra geo coverage doesn't matter.
-
Nik Kuruvilla (@nikethamides) reported@GongGasGirl Aldi uses Telstra. The problem with a lot of the “discount” plans are that they count data per mb so if you check your email that’s one mb minimum even though it’s only about 10 kb worth of actual data. Makes it easy to get to your max data cap
-
Peter Zanon (@zap_slz) reported@Telstra But this is not a black spot issue, it’s a congestion/capacity issue!
-
Benjamin Moran (@DrBenMoran) reported@ACTINOSProject @GongGasGirl @amaysim We've got Aldi for our kids. It's cheap and uses the Telstra network.
