Liam Morrow (@MungoGOAG) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@GoMeZCSGO @FrankLi @BelongAU Yeah if you are porting to Telstra especially from a well known provider you’ll have no issues. It’s all an automated process now and most go through within 5 minutes. If they take longer you won’t lose service until the port is complete.
-
Julia (@JuliaBTempler) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandAfter a long and satisfactory relationship with @Telstra I’ve been informed that if I want to continue as a customer I must set up a direct debit. This may well be a win for Telstra’s business model but I’m very much struggling to see any positives for me, is it a trust issue?
-
░A░d░a░m░ (@SparkyDenied) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Tuxy81 Probably the easiest way to get him down from Telstra Tower
-
Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra Please stop using overseas operators who cannot do anything except read a script and have no idea how to think logically to resolve an issue. That's 80 minutes of my life I won't get back.
-
Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandJust spent another 2 plus hours dealing with @Telstra s useless phone app as the the case manager decided not to call me back as promised. Utterly useless service.
-
Troy Hunt (@troyhunt) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@OUSAK You need the Telstra unit as it has the modem built in which the UDM doesn’t have. The FlexHD connects wirelessly to the UDM and forms part of the mesh network. Ideally, I’d plug it into an Ethernet back haul but the place isn’t wired.
-
Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra I have had to place a complaint about the complaints department, believe it or not. I'm over it. It was actually the complaints supervisor who gave me that timeframe. So much for overseas call centres.
-
Dystopian Dirt Cowboy 🤠 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Schoto @Telstra My late mum joined the PMG at age 16. She retired from Telecom -Telstra after 47 yrs. I have her service medal still. I think I’ll bin it. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind. My 80yo mother in law is now thinking about driving from Beaudesert to Jimboomba to sort this out at Telstra shop
-
Vicki Russell (@VickiRussell62) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@jillianmcarroll This one was a actual Telstra shop not a franchise. I asked. And it makes it even more frustrating when @Telstra staff don’t know what good customer service is.
-
Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra is it possible to have a real person call regarding a longstanding issue? Or don't you do phone calls now?
-
Dazz (@DarrenAbb) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandHad to wait to get back to home to the mother in laws to post this as @Telstra 5G was down !
-
What Do You Know? (@Glenelg22) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandToday we’ve had Telstra credentials stolen. Apple ID stolen and I’ve got an unhackable modem takenover by unethical hacks, who’s going to help me @CyberGovAU @Scamwatch_gov @AusFedPolice #IDFraud
-
Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra My wife was just speaking to one of your phone support people. Even though the whole street is out they insist on sending a technician to our house on Friday. She did the troubleshooting they requested which means we now no longer have a working home phone.Thanks.
-
Brown Dirt Cowboy ✳️✳️✳️✳️💉🤠👀💧🐀 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra I’m on to the technician now. I’ve been texting for over an hour. There’s no resolution just random suggestions that might destroy my long held number. The process is ridiculous. Tell your boss it’s ridiculous. A sham.
-
Much Maligned Mick 😷💉💉💉💉 (@MainBeachMick) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@SallyLawry @RuncibleH Took the words out of my mouth. Qantas, Telstra & CommBank have all gone down the toilet. They’ll be out to sea in a couple of months.
-
Oji (@Oji10858621) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@VodafoneAU Your service is such a failure...you should be ashamed charging me for a service u can't provide me! No one cares no wonder #Vodafone is such a fail... #Telstra must love getting customers like me on board that you can't look after! No one #Vodafone knows anything!
-
David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra No, all it says is that it’s a problem with the NBN network. No further information. I understand you at Telstra may not be getting the info you need. Just a frustrating experience.
-
Aaron Whyte 🇦🇺♠️💾 (@mebsites) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@samstrades @Telstra agreed it was there best means of support by a mile... but might as well keep all support/sales at the same rock bottom level which is ******!
-
Thepaladin (@Luppo71) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandTrying to get a phone sorted for mum and #Telstra on hold for 70 minutes, never even look like answering. Australia's biggest Telco is a fxxken disgrace and should be shutdown. #Telstra you suck
-
Robbie McEwen AM (@mcewenrobbie) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra internet down in mermaid beach & it’s not even a flood zone. Why cut us off to work here when there’s so much more to be done in affected areas?
Telstra Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Heliophilus (@Heliophilus) reported@Starlink @Telstra Shame it's through Telstra and not purely Starlink. Speaking as an Aussie who's regional and driving 15 minutes any direction from my town has the service drop out, I love my Starlink. People in my town love Starlink. I hate Telstra. Cost a fortune and offer very little back.
-
Madre Swift Justice (@JayStill4) reported@SistaRuthDOPD Remember after that 1st major Telstra outage we received emails yelling us to upgrade our phones? What happened to that? I got 2 emails and then it all disappeared
-
Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported@CrySlyFly @ialihasaan @Batman2242 And NZ incumbent Telco was very happy to work with the government to rollout their network so they structurally separated. Our Telstra was just interested in destroying any and all competition and wouldn't work with the gov
-
Tesla Owners Silicon Valley (@teslaownersSV) reportedNEWS: Telstra says Starlink could help save lives in Australia's remote regions. 🇦🇺 • Telstra CEO Vicki Brady says Starlink can help people stranded outside mobile coverage contact emergency services. • Telstra has partnered with SpaceX to bring Starlink Direct-to-Cell satellite messaging to Australia. • Eligible customers can send satellite text messages to friends or family when no terrestrial mobile signal is available. • The service is designed to provide a critical communication option in remote and isolated areas. Starlink Direct-to-Cell is bringing emergency connectivity to places where traditional mobile networks can't reach.
-
Peter Leversha (@PeterLeversha) reported@merchant_s35416 @Bender_Aus Privatising telecom was the right thing to do. And selling off Telstra was an even better idea. Both were drains in the economy. Trying to get telecom to fix anything used to be a pain in the butt. Look at NBN, over priced garbage. There's nothing wrong with a user pays system. Why should people in Horsham pay for a road they don't use in Melbourne?
-
Maarten 1947 *One Man's Opinion. (@Maarten1947) reportedMaybe a $30Million Fine might make Telstra take it's Corporate responsibility more serious. $30 Thousand Server replacement/ $30 Million Fine shareholders might assume is a No Brainer when it comes down to Common Sense.decisions.
-
manukoreri (Nick Chesterfield) 🇵🇸❤️🖤💛🇵🇸 (@manukoreri) reportedSlow clap @Telstra with your #AusAlert @nemagovau Standing within eyesight of a tower and it took 6 min 55 to come through after everyone nearby on other networks got it. 7 minutes of delay means this is not fit for purpose. Your incompetence is proof this isn't a conspiracy.
-
It's A Hoax 🇦🇺 (@Itsahoax123) reported@KataKez Telstra can already spam everyone connected to cell tower without this ****. Think about the times when you have travelled somewhere and you get that text saying something like they are “doing work on this network over the next 5 days”
-
Muz De Sac (@MuzzaDavo) reported@lagoonki Incidentally, while I was taking my pic on the Yorke, my phone was operating on the signal from the Telstra tower on Kangaroo Island, it's so close.
-
Husky (@huskyaustralia) reportedIs Telstra down again ?!?
