  • FlatEarthGang Brown Dirt Cowboy ✳️✳️✳️✳️💉🤠👀💧🐀 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra I’m on to the technician now. I’ve been texting for over an hour. There’s no resolution just random suggestions that might destroy my long held number. The process is ridiculous. Tell your boss it’s ridiculous. A sham.

  • lisadlmcdermott Lisa McDermott (@lisadlmcdermott) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra like everything in Australia has gone to ****. I’m literally moving next door and I’m going to have no internet for a week.

  • mcewenrobbie Robbie McEwen AM (@mcewenrobbie) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

Worst customer service I’ve EVER experienced. I spend $8k per year @telstra between my home, business & mobiles. Cancelling all of them

  • BeachGirlJan Mermaid Jan JG 🧜‍♀️🌴⛵🦋🐾 (@BeachGirlJan) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

In their wisdom Telstra closed my account a few days ago. So I haven't had internet. When I asked why they can't tell me. I upgraded to 5G 3 months ago. They have reopened it. Bloody hopeless service. On their last chance before I switch ITP. Sigh.🙄

  • FlatEarthGang Brown Dirt Cowboy ✳️✳️✳️✳️💉🤠👀💧🐀 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra Been there done that. I’ve been texting my thumbs off for no result & no understanding of the remedy to a problem I apparently don’t have: but I do.

  • FlatEarthGang Brown Dirt Cowboy ✳️✳️✳️✳️💉🤠👀💧🐀 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@wheels002 @Telstra I’ve heard of this 💩 but to experience it has been exhausting. If I had lost it emotionally they would have blamed me after all they put me through with their lack of service and common decency. We are zero to them, except for the income. I’m quite disappointed & distressed. 😩

  • Gary_AE Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

  • FlatEarthGang Brown Dirt Cowboy ✳️✳️✳️✳️💉🤠👀💧🐀 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra 4 hours of waiting on the phone 📞 & two hours of texting & no resolution. A 10 minute phone call could fix this.

  • Gary_AE Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra is it possible to have a real person call regarding a longstanding issue? Or don't you do phone calls now?

  • Spankyhunter Richard 🌻(spankyhunter) (@Spankyhunter) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra since you latest app update its gone to total garbage. Constant half loads, lots of something went wrong. Constantly asking for extra logins. Wont switch between my users without having a cow. Did no one test this update???

  • sacarlin48 Anne Carlin #WeAreAllPRGuy (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@bustdboozehound @nineislands I do too. Great plan. Everything included. My modem died at home and the family all used the 25gig I'd rolled over to access the internet while I got a new one. They use the Telstra network.

  • MungoGOAG Liam Morrow (@MungoGOAG) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@GoMeZCSGO @FrankLi @BelongAU Yeah if you are porting to Telstra especially from a well known provider you’ll have no issues. It’s all an automated process now and most go through within 5 minutes. If they take longer you won’t lose service until the port is complete.

  • MainBeachMick Much Maligned Mick 😷💉💉💉💉 (@MainBeachMick) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@SallyLawry @RuncibleH Took the words out of my mouth. Qantas, Telstra & CommBank have all gone down the toilet. They’ll be out to sea in a couple of months.

  • Spankyhunter Richard 🌻(spankyhunter) (@Spankyhunter) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra guess the outage is preparing for next week. Nbn goes down for grand finals No hope to actually watch it.

  • FlatEarthGang Brown Dirt Cowboy ✳️✳️✳️✳️💉🤠👀💧🐀 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@lenoretaylor @glebbern @Qantas QANTAS & Telstra once great Australian companies. Since they became privatised they’ve let a lot of people down. I waited 4hours & 8 mins on the phone 📞 yesterday for it not to be answered. I hung up in the end.

  • FlatEarthGang Brown Dirt Cowboy ✳️✳️✳️✳️💉🤠👀💧🐀 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@basell_allan @Telstra My mum was a telephonist with them from the age of 17 until retirement. She alway went out of her way to help people. Even walked through the BNE 74 floods to get to work to do her shift.

  • MuskRatMick Musk Rat 🐀 Mick (@MuskRatMick) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra in investigating mobile booster options for my parents (which cost $2000) with Telstra WOM Dept, they advised the Telstra map showed their area had excellent service. I can promise you they have 1 bar inside and 2 outside. Can you investigate Gleneagle 4285 please

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Saphod Marco Luthe (@Saphod) reported

@Telstra Are there any known issues with the Google Nest Hub via “your” NBN? My Nest Hub always gives me an error message the first time after I haven’t used it for a while, but it works flawlessly when connected to my iPhone hotspot. I’m in contact with @madebygoogle.

  • dragon_exiled TheExileDragon (@dragon_exiled) reported

@CyborgDanDrews @SolidusBk Telstra unlike twitter are a customer based service. If Telstra give up their customer they lose money. Its in their best interest to maintain customer satisfaction

  • Zeggie8 Zeggie (@Zeggie8) reported

@michaelje @simondotau @PRGuy17 You can opt out. Not sure that Telstra would facilitate that for a mobile customer, nor for free. No real reason why any person would request this in the first place.

  • LukeCar13907972 Luke Carter (@LukeCar13907972) reported

@innocent_abroad @mal2153 @MikeCarlton01 Everyone needs to know 2 things, Vodaphone (3) built a large portion of the Telstra network and Optus built the cable connections too US and the optic fibre connect on the east coast. So privatisation worked for us in telecom!

  • francestravers3 frances travers (@francestravers3) reported

1st world issue I know! Who is worse to obtain customer satisfaction from @Qantas @Telstra or your work safe agent - they make you feel guilty though you are the person damaged through no fault of your own!

  • RoadknightThe TheRoadknight (@RoadknightThe) reported

@ronInBendigo After a barrage of tests, three Telstra employees have admitted that it's a traffic/capacity problem. Reported to the Telecommunications Ombudsman for misleading advertising and failing to deliver claimed speeds. Telstra responded that it will not increase capacity /2

  • clairebennett38 Mummy Bennett (@clairebennett38) reported

@Telstra @NBN_Australia Booked a move online and you've stuffed up, so that now my Husband has NO internet at all to work from home. The response from your call centre was oh well, not a lot we can do!! Poor service and not customer focused! Zero stars. 🤬

  • cwrishood cwris (@cwrishood) reported

@ben14271032 @simondotau @PRGuy17 doesn't it just mean they use Telstra network, not necessarily customer? e.g. Aldi customers use Telstra network (does Telstra still assign IP for Aldi customers?)

  • Curlymoelarry3 David Downs (@Curlymoelarry3) reported

@deniseshrivell @PeterLewisEMC There should be laws against parties selling public assets. As soon as they stop being an essential services owned by the government, the end users get screwed in the interest of "the shareholder", or the CEO's bonus. It was a terrible decision with Telstra, power is worse
