@samstrades @Telstra agreed it was there best means of support by a mile... but might as well keep all support/sales at the same rock bottom level which is ******!

@Telstra internet down in mermaid beach & it’s not even a flood zone. Why cut us off to work here when there’s so much more to be done in affected areas?

@Telstra So I have to talk to you like an app but you can’t pick up the phone? I would have used the app if it was a simple issue. 🙄

Thoughts on switching to Aussie Broadband? Am with Telstra (on NBN) and the dropouts are ridiculous. Conscious it'll reuse a lot of the same infrastructure but even the customer service has to be better??!

  • FlatEarthGang
Dystopian Dirt Cowboy 🤠 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

My wife is trying to connect to @telstra to report her mother’s faulty landline📞. After 27 hoops, forward rolls, backflips they are now testing OUR line. This whole ludicrous process is surely designed to make people hang up in frustration. 2 hours on hold last night no response

  • sacarlin48
🔥 Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra Someone has called me from Telstra. I'm waiting on the phone for technical support now

  • troyhunt
Troy Hunt (@troyhunt) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@OUSAK You need the Telstra unit as it has the modem built in which the UDM doesn’t have. The FlexHD connects wirelessly to the UDM and forms part of the mesh network. Ideally, I’d plug it into an Ethernet back haul but the place isn’t wired.

  • LBFizz
Lois Underlion-Condition (@LBFizz) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@JennaPrice Husband rang the ombudsman regarding a Telstra phone contract which they had totally misrepresented. Problem fixed within 48 hours and refund. They had promised a number of freebies which were not free.

  • DarrenAbb
Dazz (@DarrenAbb) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

Had to wait to get back to home to the mother in laws to post this as @Telstra 5G was down !

  • Gary_AE
Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra I have had to place a complaint about the complaints department, believe it or not. I'm over it. It was actually the complaints supervisor who gave me that timeframe. So much for overseas call centres.

There should be a compatibilitywith SAT Technologies, feel like making an exit, switch to the longer distance better devices, I see the telstra yellow pages have them mentioned. Availability a problem on that reguard.

@Telstra in investigating mobile booster options for my parents (which cost $2000) with Telstra WOM Dept, they advised the Telstra map showed their area had excellent service. I can promise you they have 1 bar inside and 2 outside. Can you investigate Gleneagle 4285 please

  • Cowboy_2526

@StickelSam @Telstra Very poor by @Telstra now 7 days of no service, yet they will expect me to to pay my bill in full when it’s due, so so wrong of them

Telstra Issues Reports

  • TheNoisyTrunk
    The Noisy Elephant (@TheNoisyTrunk) reported

@adrian_couper "Telstra is a perfect example. The public owned it, public funds built it, and then the government sold it back to us as shares, what a ‘great deal’ for the people, right? In reality, the public purse lost a reliable income stream, and most everyday Australians (the ‘mum and dad’ investors) ended up on the losing end. Institutional investors and super funds snapped up the lion’s share, while retail investors often saw their holdings underperform or get diluted over time. The privatisation was framed as empowering the public, but the system was stacked in favour of the big players from the start. What John Howard did was sold the golden goose that lays eggs to pay down debt to make himself look good. Short-term.

  • greg__briggs
    Greg Briggs (@greg__briggs) reported

@disco___cat Have you thought about Aldi? They use Telstra network and way cheaper. Have the kids on them and will probably switch my wife and I across later this year.

  • TrevorHockins
    Trevor Hockins (@TrevorHockins) reported

@FunkleberryTwit No, Howard's "non-core promises" were philosophically driven, not a response to a worsening situation. They included vows to "never ever" introduce a GST, not cut Medicare services, not to privatise Telstra, and that workers' take-home pay would not be affected, then WorkChoices

@aussiesoph Sorry for your loss 😔🙏🏻. My grandparents Always lived overseas and Telstra was expensive af growing up to ring them.. I never really knew them 😔. Same with uncles and cousins etc Idk how I'd cope losing a close family member 😭😭

  • eevblog
    Dave Jones (@eevblog) reported

@asphotos Science isn't going to help when the system is clogged because the NBN is down and many thousands of people are trying to find workarounds. Telstra in the park has collapsed, and Optus is struggling.

  • 39loulou
    mary blackman (@39loulou) reported

@blowingtom2 @JohnAndersonAC Name calling, so early in the discussion. Do you remember how Howard sold off our Gold in the dip? D’ya know how much that would be worth in today’s $$. Did you know they also sold off Comm Bank & Telstra to cover baby bonus cheques and utes? Research Howard worst PM ever#auspol

  • kanethesaint
    kane (@kanethesaint) reported

@eevblog If you turn on Data Roaming when in Vodafone, in areas where there is poor coverage, it will connect to an Optus tower to fill the gap. This only works for Vodafone and not Optus or Telstra.

  • met_oshi
    MetOshi (@met_oshi) reported

@RealMetroLounge @WindsorDebs Optus and Vodafone had to rely on Telstra, since Telstra owned the network. It wasn't until the government set up a service and bought back the network that things started to change
