Grant Shelley (@802_11GS) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@csampson01 @Telstra Ah I disabled it early on when my Wi-Fi backhaul was horrible. But now it’s horrible again (recent house move = ADSL 😭)

Troy Hunt (@troyhunt) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@OUSAK You need the Telstra unit as it has the modem built in which the UDM doesn’t have. The FlexHD connects wirelessly to the UDM and forms part of the mesh network. Ideally, I’d plug it into an Ethernet back haul but the place isn’t wired.

Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@Telstra My wife was just speaking to one of your phone support people. Even though the whole street is out they insist on sending a technician to our house on Friday. She did the troubleshooting they requested which means we now no longer have a working home phone.Thanks.
-
Vicki Russell (@VickiRussell62) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@jillianmcarroll This one was a actual Telstra shop not a franchise. I asked. And it makes it even more frustrating when @Telstra staff don’t know what good customer service is.
-
Dystopian Dirt Cowboy 🤠 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, QueenslandMy wife is trying to connect to @telstra to report her mother’s faulty landline📞. After 27 hoops, forward rolls, backflips they are now testing OUR line. This whole ludicrous process is surely designed to make people hang up in frustration. 2 hours on hold last night no response

Brown Dirt Cowboy ✳️✳️✳️✳️💉🤠👀💧🐀 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland@wheels002 @Telstra I’ve heard of this 💩 but to experience it has been exhausting. If I had lost it emotionally they would have blamed me after all they put me through with their lack of service and common decency. We are zero to them, except for the income. I’m quite disappointed & distressed. 😩

Jumbarrawa (@jumbarrawa) reportedBut you get a whoops when your service goes down. You ever order a pizza and the shop takes a slice out and says can't help it? That's what Telstra is. Senator Sarah Henderson (@SenSHenderson) reportedAnika Wells’ claim 'the industry must learn from its mistakes' following a damning report into the catastrophic Telstra outage is not good enough. The collapse of Telstra’s mobile network on 8 July this year caused chaos with payment systems, shut down train networks, and stopped some people calling triple zero. Mobile telecommunications networks are critical infrastructure. That is why, on the day of the outage, the Coalition called on the government to urgently deliver mobile network reliability standards. There must be appropriate minimum standards in place governing the reliability, performance, and maintenance of our mobile networks with significant penalties when those standards are breached. Asking telcos to 'rebuild trust with Australians by ensuring networks do not succumb to preventable failures’, as the minister stated today, is like hitting the telcos with a piece of wet lettuce. The minister’s silence on the need for a tougher regulatory framework is deafening.
