  • mebsites
Aaron Whyte 🇦🇺♠️💾 (@mebsites) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@samstrades @Telstra agreed it was there best means of support by a mile... but might as well keep all support/sales at the same rock bottom level which is ******!

@wheels002 @Telstra I’ve heard of this 💩 but to experience it has been exhausting. If I had lost it emotionally they would have blamed me after all they put me through with their lack of service and common decency. We are zero to them, except for the income. I’m quite disappointed & distressed. 😩

  • pkfrancis
Paul Francis (@pkfrancis) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@KeeniMaree Thank you. I'm generally a happy Telstra customer - mobile is fine - but I'm very over having to follow exactly the same script (from the start) with broadband support- multiple times with no resolution or follow up. Wfh, critical to have solid connection! Appreciate the feedback

  • Debi98489370
Debi (@Debi98489370) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@RandaltsRandal @Telstra Telstra are providing NO customer service currently. They say they are prioritising. Not sure how when they don't speak to their customers. A communication company that doesn't communicate- what a joke!!!

  • ShonaDrechsler
Shona Drechsler 🐮🇦🇺🐴 (@ShonaDrechsler) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra @Telstra_news WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH MOBILE COVERAGE on Broadbeach, QLD. For the last 48 hours the call connects but you cannot hear anything. FIX IT!! We are paying for your 💩 service!! 🤬

  • ProfBravus
David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra Still down, still no useful information

  • pkfrancis
Paul Francis (@pkfrancis) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

Thoughts on switching to Aussie Broadband? Am with Telstra (on NBN) and the dropouts are ridiculous. Conscious it'll reuse a lot of the same infrastructure but even the customer service has to be better??!

  • Spankyhunter
Richard 🌻(spankyhunter) (@Spankyhunter) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra nbn goes down right when the football preliminary starts. Down the whole match so far. Great service. Have to watch on my phone Great service....... not Still down in miami qld Guess your network can't handle finals times

  • VickiRussell62
Vicki Russell (@VickiRussell62) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@jillianmcarroll This one was a actual Telstra shop not a franchise. I asked. And it makes it even more frustrating when @Telstra staff don’t know what good customer service is.

  • MungoGOAG
Liam Morrow (@MungoGOAG) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@GoMeZCSGO @FrankLi @BelongAU Yeah if you are porting to Telstra especially from a well known provider you’ll have no issues. It’s all an automated process now and most go through within 5 minutes. If they take longer you won’t lose service until the port is complete.

  • JuliaBTempler
Julia (@JuliaBTempler) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

After a long and satisfactory relationship with @Telstra I’ve been informed that if I want to continue as a customer I must set up a direct debit. This may well be a win for Telstra’s business model but I’m very much struggling to see any positives for me, is it a trust issue?

  • jonooee

@Telstra I’m 5 minutes from Parliament House in Canberra and I don’t have the signal strength on my phone to stream the live Liverpool game from the UK. You lot are a ******* scam. Waste of money. National carrier my fat *** #telstra #rubbish #scam

  • chinoalemano
    ChinoAleman (@chinoalemano) reported

JUST IN: $SHAZ just hired the executive who ran Telstra Enterprise as its new COO. David Burns: 35+ years across Telstra and IBM, most recently leading Telstra's entire Australian B2B and international portfolio. His mandate, per the release: own the journey "from customer order to live operational capacity". Co-founder Andrew Leece moves to a dedicated Strategic Partnerships role, founder-level care for the biggest relationships. Read the pattern, not just the hire: new CFO in July. New Chief Legal Officer in July. Now a heavyweight COO in August. Fourth senior addition in five weeks. A company with $8.8B in contracts and 212MW to deliver isn't hiring to SELL anymore. It's hiring to DELIVER. The bottleneck moved, and management is staffing the bottleneck. The honest line: executive hires are capacity, not revenue. The proof stays where it always was: deployments accepted, escrows released, rent flowing. But you don't poach the Telstra Enterprise boss to run a small book. I'm long $SHAZ. NFA. DYOR.

  • thmsenglsh
    Tom English (@thmsenglsh) reported

(2 cont:) and this would fluctuate WILDLY based on the day to day. If Telstra has an outage, people won't be nominating them to receive any govt money anytime soon 3) or govt would have to guess who to go to for contracts

  • kosanjic
    Ray G Kosanjic (@kosanjic) reported

@PeterD84508 @DHughesy You idiot. Both sides of parliament agreed to sell. It was costing Australians hundreds of millions as a public service model. If Telstra was government owned now we’d be further down a hole.

  • RichoColin
    Colin Richardson (@RichoColin) reported

@DHughesy @aaronsmith Saying "governments waste money" is easy, but the real problem is every government since has refused to raise revenue to match spending. Howard-Costello rode a mining boom and sold Telstra; they didn't solve the structural problems.

@diana_murphy613 Thankfully in Australia we have competition. I can get internet service from Telstra, TPG, Optus, Aussie Broadband and others.

  • john_lyndondale
    John Maunder (@john_lyndondale) reported

@MrRexPatrick Am amazed you have internet access, must be Starlink?? One of my gripes travelling out there is when there is a Telstra signal, but being on their network with another provider and it does not work.

  • GofGovernance
    Ghost Editor (@GofGovernance) reported

@teyc @BenCarrollMP By the way, I lived in Canberra back when Telstra was fat, comfortable and painfully slow to adapt. While the rest of the world was investing in ADSL, cable, fibre and other technologies to keep pace with the rapidly evolving internet, Telstra seemed remarkably content with the old model and the outrageous margins it could extract from telephone calls. Eventually, the writing was on the wall and technology forced the issue. Had Telstra remained a complacent, publicly managed monopoly, there’s every chance we’d still be listening to the soothing tones of a dial-up modem while waiting for a webpage to load. You have a lot to learn... son!
