Andrew Shimmin (@Bigshim) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra major fail yet again by Telstra, on hold with them after clicking a link they sent me to do with my service and was transferred to the Woolworths helpline. Like ... words cannot explain how inept Telstra is, I have moved house a few times and it’s never worked! 🤯🤬🖕🏻

  • FlatEarthGang
Brown Dirt Cowboy ✳️✳️✳️✳️💉🤠👀💧🐀 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@wheels002 @Telstra I’ve heard of this 💩 but to experience it has been exhausting. If I had lost it emotionally they would have blamed me after all they put me through with their lack of service and common decency. We are zero to them, except for the income. I’m quite disappointed & distressed. 😩

Super Nudist (@supernudistband) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra Hi - your internet keeps dropping out. I tried calling but apparently you're closed (9:30pm). In postcode 4212. This has been happening for several weeks. Please sort it ******** out. #telstra #nbn #australia #monopoly #***** #goldcoast @NBN_Australia @Foxtel

  • mcewenrobbie
Robbie McEwen AM (@mcewenrobbie) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

Worst customer service I’ve EVER experienced. I spend $8k per year @telstra between my home, business & mobiles. Cancelling all of them

  • ProfBravus
David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra No, all it says is that it’s a problem with the NBN network. No further information. I understand you at Telstra may not be getting the info you need. Just a frustrating experience.

  • Cowboy_2526
Simon Jackson (@Cowboy_2526) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@AndrewVossy @Telstra I’ve had no service at home since April, there constant rubbish excuses, want me to buy antenna for $1100, ombudsman now involved

  • FlatEarthGang
Dystopian Dirt Cowboy 🤠 (@FlatEarthGang) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Schoto @Telstra My late mum joined the PMG at age 16. She retired from Telecom -Telstra after 47 yrs. I have her service medal still. I think I’ll bin it. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind. My 80yo mother in law is now thinking about driving from Beaudesert to Jimboomba to sort this out at Telstra shop

  • VickiRussell62
Vicki Russell (@VickiRussell62) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

Well done @Telstra Your staff admit, in store, they did the wrong thing, but refuse to fix it. Lodge a complaint on my behalf and refuse to give me a copy. I refuse to leave the store without a copy. Your staff call the police. Great customer service. #Telstradonotcare

  • Gary_AE
Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra I have had to place a complaint about the complaints department, believe it or not. I'm over it. It was actually the complaints supervisor who gave me that timeframe. So much for overseas call centres.

  • ProfBravus
David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra Yes, my wife phoned and apparently it’s been ‘elevated to Level 2’, but we’re at the end of Day 6 with still no service and no information.

  • sacarlin48
💧Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@gurambae I already use my foxtel cable for the internet (but don't have Foxtel) which is why I'm forced to be with Telstra currently. It will be the same with NBN. Nov is the deadline for me. Having problem choosing a provider

  • BeachGirlJan
Mermaid Jan JG 🧜‍♀️🌴⛵🦋🐾 (@BeachGirlJan) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

In their wisdom Telstra closed my account a few days ago. So I haven't had internet. When I asked why they can't tell me. I upgraded to 5G 3 months ago. They have reopened it. Bloody hopeless service. On their last chance before I switch ITP. Sigh.🙄

  • JimFSH
Driers APAC (@JimFSH) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@MJBIS @Telstra Watch out it might appear down the chimney tonight 🎅

  • sacarlin48
🔥 Anne Carlin (@sacarlin48) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@KoparaFallsKid Don't ring @Telstra then. After the automated conversation which takes about 5 mins they direct to their (fu*king useless) website...thereby telling you you are an insignificant customer and then hang up on you.

  • Spankyhunter
Richard 🌻(spankyhunter) (@Spankyhunter) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra so nbn down for 4hrs now. Will we get it back before monday or are you just not giving a ****

  • Cowboy_2526

@Telstra hey Telstra there is no reported outage in my area yet it’s been 5 days and counting and still no mobile service, and seems no help either

  • thatsachagirl
Sacha Bodell (@thatsachagirl) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@Telstra I logged a case 10 days ago after months of issues and multiple store visits, and I’m still yet to get a response... please look into this for me?

  • VickiRussell62
Vicki Russell (@VickiRussell62) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@jillianmcarroll This one was a actual Telstra shop not a franchise. I asked. And it makes it even more frustrating when @Telstra staff don’t know what good customer service is.

  • mebsites
Aaron Whyte 🇦🇺♠️💾 (@mebsites) reported from Gold Coast, Queensland

@samstrades @Telstra agreed it was there best means of support by a mile... but might as well keep all support/sales at the same rock bottom level which is ******!

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Karl_Pharks
    Karl Pharks 🇦🇺 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 (@Karl_Pharks) reported

@MarcScottEmery @happyjas When big corporates (like Telstra) outsourced their call centres to India, two things happened immediately. 1) The customer records databases were stolen, and 2) Scam call centres opened up, calling all the customers and attempting to scam them. The big corporates were never held accountable, but they directly caused the Indian scammer tsunami that hit Australia.

  • clarkes
Clarkie. It's the vibe of it. (@clarkes) reported

@Mr_Fanta_Pants @Telstra Aldi uses Telstra network. We have had it for 10 years. No issues. Unused Data rolls over and over.

@BrilliantMaps As a Canadian who has never been there: Qantas, Macquarie, BHP, Telstra and a couple of banks are the only names that ring a bell.

  • jumbarrawa
    Jumbarrawa (@jumbarrawa) reported

Twice this morning, you have bumped me off @telstra. What is your deal ?? Your service has disconnected over a dozen times in the last few days. I think I need to take you to the ACCC. I do not have the luxury of waiting 20 minutes each time your service goes down. seriously. We're going to have words today. This is RUBBISH. ALDI buying lines from you, and THAT is not going down at a 1/3 of the price you sting me for.

  • bo10546

    @AFL @kylie @Telstra And not a **** was given that day.

  • c0n_AU

@JC47053522 @JohnOBrien101 Just like AusGov has some minor ownership of Telstra and Qantas, but has no say in their horrible business decision either!

  • TasTurboChook

  • no1historychick
    Beth D Kicinski (@no1historychick) reported

@MichaelWestBiz @sainsburychina Loyalty programs are the ultimate con. Telstra just emailed me to say my mobile plan will be increasing by $5/mth, but my service won't improve. I'm unwillingly signed up to their "Rewards" - something built into the pricing. This should be outlawed.
