@digitaltasmania @Telstra Allens Rivulet. Has been down since yesterday and patchy for several days before. We rely on it heavily as we get our phone, internet and Wi-Fi calling on our mobiles through it. We live in a black spot so can not be contacted at home till it is restored.

@up_banking trying to get a refund out of Telstra into my Up account via BSB/account number, but they claim the BSB is incorrect (even if they look under Bendigo etc.) Not explicitly your problem, but any ideas?

@Telstra I'll be in the South Hobart area most of the day but hopefully not in the area that's not working - there are others on the community Facebook saying their mobile reception is also out. Probably is an ongoing issue that needs checking.

@JeanLeggett I don’t know of any that “just work” in both countries but I know both Vodafone AU and Telstra (Australia telecoms) have roaming support for NZ but that is like an addition $5-10 per day.

Hey @Telstra. My account restrictions were supposed to be fixed within two hrs. Three hours later and 30 f'n years of poor service don't hold well for me. If I did this to my clients they would go elsewhere. As will I. Finally.

@Telstra You’re missing the point Shannon, how can I do that if I have signed up to have a handset repayment with Telstra? If I cancel my plan I’ll have to pay out my handset which could be over $2000 depending on the phone and when I signed up.

@Telstra Will Telstra change the contract back if CPI reduces? Also I see that there will be another price increase in July 2023. So all of a sudden a contract signed in June 2022 could be $10 more per month than what the customer agreed too. 🤔 - tough sell by Australia’s phone service

@agentsmart My only problem is there’s no reception in my estate. Telstra has best coverage and I still need wifi calling and my phone still doesn’t ring half the time 😒 The voda sim I had at one stage for a work phone didn’t work at all so had to use my personal phone for work.

@Telstra why did u cut off the internet early from my elderly mother when she changed home phone plan. It clearly was noted it should be 11th July & was cut off 5th July. Now no internet to help Visiting grandkids in school holidays. It will take 24 hours to provision & restore.
