    Right, cancelling my @Telstra account (which Telstra linked to a TIO complaint about an entirely unrelated prepaid SIM) has allowed them to refund me without validating my identity against the unrelated account. Great success!

    @JeanLeggett I don’t know of any that “just work” in both countries but I know both Vodafone AU and Telstra (Australia telecoms) have roaming support for NZ but that is like an addition $5-10 per day.

    @Telstra I'll be in the South Hobart area most of the day but hopefully not in the area that's not working - there are others on the community Facebook saying their mobile reception is also out. Probably is an ongoing issue that needs checking.

    @digitaltasmania @Telstra Allens Rivulet. Has been down since yesterday and patchy for several days before. We rely on it heavily as we get our phone, internet and Wi-Fi calling on our mobiles through it. We live in a black spot so can not be contacted at home till it is restored.

    @up_banking trying to get a refund out of Telstra into my Up account via BSB/account number, but they claim the BSB is incorrect (even if they look under Bendigo etc.) Not explicitly your problem, but any ideas?

    @Telstra So I've spent 40 minutes on hold to be told I can't be helped by Telstra and to call the store. Called the store and I've been told the phone operator can't help and I'll get a call in 24-48 hours. This is such awful service. And I'm still paying full price on my contract!

    @Telstra Thanks Matthew. Our modem was fried in an electrical storm. We managed to get in touch using a text application. Our issue was that initially when we had no modem & internet access we rang and followed the automatic phone prompts & selected the numbers that described the problem

    @Telstra What information do you need to follow up my concern? The Telstra Rep has not done anything positive since he asked for my patience and understanding. This us becoming an utter joke. @andy_penn yr staff try to fix errors and it takes longer than reordering a new install. Crazy

    I gave Telstra the arse years ago. But I use them for prepaid phones. Biggest coverage. iiNet provide me with excellent ISP service.

    @Telstra My husband was able to do it from his work & organise the text exchange to troubleshoot the problem and determine that we required a new modem. It would have been quicker and easier to talk to a person. It is fixed now. Thank you.
