    Right, cancelling my @Telstra account (which Telstra linked to a TIO complaint about an entirely unrelated prepaid SIM) has allowed them to refund me without validating my identity against the unrelated account. Great success!

    @digitaltasmania @Telstra Allens Rivulet. Has been down since yesterday and patchy for several days before. We rely on it heavily as we get our phone, internet and Wi-Fi calling on our mobiles through it. We live in a black spot so can not be contacted at home till it is restored.

    @up_banking trying to get a refund out of Telstra into my Up account via BSB/account number, but they claim the BSB is incorrect (even if they look under Bendigo etc.) Not explicitly your problem, but any ideas?

    @JeanLeggett I don’t know of any that “just work” in both countries but I know both Vodafone AU and Telstra (Australia telecoms) have roaming support for NZ but that is like an addition $5-10 per day.

    Hey @Telstra. My account restrictions were supposed to be fixed within two hrs. Three hours later and 30 f'n years of poor service don't hold well for me. If I did this to my clients they would go elsewhere. As will I. Finally.

    @Telstra I'll be in the South Hobart area most of the day but hopefully not in the area that's not working - there are others on the community Facebook saying their mobile reception is also out. Probably is an ongoing issue that needs checking.

    So I took @Telstra advice and purchased a sim! Wrong advice @Telstra apologised & refunded me the charge. Now a month later I get charged another $ fee because they didn’t cancel the sim after all. Now two hours of trying and repeating the issues for the 5th time! #frustrated

    @VodafoneAU You ask to connect over DM but there is no intention to respond. Its past 11 pm and the service hasn’t improved (unlike what you promised) - been without network for past 5 days on 3 devices with Vodafone. If not for Telstra NBN, I couldn’t have even tweeted this. #VodafoneSucks

    @Telstra What’s the issue with your internet? Outage from 16th, not expected back on until the 27th?! No notification. No work and no VCE studies happening here because of it. Right before year 12 exams. Not good enough.
