Hey fellow @Telstra CBD Airplane mode togglers - looks like a DNS issue! I installed @Cloudflare’s app which overrides Telstra DNS settings and everything’s working fine.

@Telstra There is no promptness in resolving the issue but it just wants to maintain Social Media response rates. @Telstra doesn't care about customers anymore

Yet to see a single tech leader explain why this can't be done over 4G since @telstra has "the fastest 4g network in Australia"

@TheLauraVee @Optus Me me me ✋I’ve tried everything with no resolution. It was worth going back to @Telstra as I know their own internal communication system works. Feel your pain Laura 😬😬

@voltagex @Telstra @Cloudflare Tried with and without the DNS overrode. Also, the first thing you should check when having network issues is DNS.

@Telstra It's even worse when there is no word of when this issue would be resolved. The internet from the backup is so slow doesn't even load a normal webpage...

.@telstra owes its customers a better explanation and transparency about why their 4G service has been broken for more than a week. This isn’t on. @acccgovau

@Telstra It’s been a black spot identified since the Waterfall disaster* and it still exists today.. Surely, surely in 2021 a conversation to fix this could be had? Is there even a public reason why it has no plans to be sorted? *2003!

Hi @telstra , @telstra_news, have been waiting two weeks to get a sim activated. Told multiple times it will be resolved in 48 hours but never happens. Telstra rep hung up on me yesterday after I respectfully asked to be out through to a mgr. not good enough.

@Telstra why has it taken over a week to get my @NBN_Australia connection up and running. Twice now the technician hasn’t shown up. Your service or should I say lack of it is PATHETIC #TELSTRAFAIL

@Telstra proving once again why they are bottom of the barrel in customer service. No landline or wifi, 4 p/calls, incorrect info each time. Can’t work from home so relocated leaving elderly dad on his own, hours lost on the phone, 36 hours and counting 😤😤 useless!

@Telstra Telstra services throughout Port Douglas has been down since yesterday morning. Businesses were closed due to it. Signal now appears to say #5G but there's no signal / throughput. Some calls have work poorly, notifications may get through after several hours. AFAIK: @Optus works.

Miranda Dempsey

@Telstra The frustration is that I did nothing to request a change in my service, but when it was looked into Telstra said I had contacted another provider and was connecting to them so Telstra had to turn off my internet as you can have 2 NBN lines! I did not contact another service.

@WesHozee @NickRossTech Agreed. The closest fibre node is 45m from our house but then travels via copper ~450m out to the Telstra pillar then to our house. The max we can ever get on it is 50mbps down unless I can convince the other house owners to all pitch in to pay for the FTTP upgrade.
