@Telstra The problem has been occurring for a week now and the status page is not updated. I don’t buy what you are saying. What I do believe is happening is that Telstra is systematically underreporting network issues to make network reliability stats look better than they actually are.

A 'Heads Up' for @Telstra. Just got a call from a lady who said they worked for you wanting to reset my password for my internet as she reckons it's currently in public mode. Only problem is I'm with @Optus. She said she already new my password & when I asked her to repeat it 1/2

@Telstra It asked if the problem was resolved. The only option was to be shown a phone number to call or to not bother calling. No option to be called when a resolution was nearer. Or to access the ticket so more info can be read or added to. No one does “service” like this, only @Telstra

@Telstra I’ve checked status for surrounding suburbs and there’s been no outages reported. So you are under reporting. Outages are understandable but not reporting on them then marketing yourself as the most reliable network is not on.

What a day NBN guy came and fixed the problem that goes back to when we were fighting with Telstra about our landline- issue sourced from the same pit on the verge. So far so good.

@NBN_Australia What about equipment provided by NBN? Never experienced these issues before your equipment was installed. What is the difference between your own-brand cable-adaptor and the Netgear Telstra Cable Adaptor CM450-1TLAUS? Can I put the old one back that used to work perfectly?

@Telstra, they've done it again, only this time via a private number with a recorded message saying: 'your internet connection has been compromised. Please press 1 to fix it.' Thought you should know.

@NicoleREDLynch @Telstra The problem is that they offshore and they have no staff to take their calls! I left @Telstra for this reason. Wish I could leave mobile for them but no other network gives me coverage 😬🤢

The worst part was that it was a feedback form that accepted my issue was not yet resolved but they still wanted feedback - too bad it was completely useless to both @telstra and me. I’ve asked Michael Acolander for an interview

Contacted @Telstra this morning about their notice I was on a new contract starting today. I stumbled on this in the app - didn’t receive notice of it in either email or post. Started a support thread but the agent said “let me investigate” at noon. Crickets since. Not happy

to me over the phone she hung up. The number she called from was a Sydney number, but she sounded like she was at an overseas call centre. She may have been on the up & up, but why hang up? If it's a scam I thought you @Telstra & @Optus should know about it. Brett.

I’d like to report this but do not want to spend an hr on the phone so you can check the same tool I do and see that everything’s fine. The network here isn’t working and I can corroborate this with other Telstra devices and other people

@NBN_Australia @telstra Received my bill for the first Two Months service Plus a call-out fee I’m sure I signed for all of that somewhere However I am currently applying for the first month free given the (ongoing) issues we’ve had 🤞 (PS- I got an automated response to my DM)

@backupbear Vodafone charge $5/GB now if you happen to be overseas or on an ancient plan. Both Telstra and Voda just slow you down if you download too much. It’s only Optus that charges $10/GB now

I signed up to @Telstra ADSL. A month later—no modem had arrived. I hassled them again, got someone who got the thing done. Got my modem 29 March. 31 March I got a bill for $80. Not bad, 2 days service, $80!

Today @Telstra cut my service. So I had the service 29/3–24/4—three weeks for which @Telstra billed me $145 (a $15 discount appeared ???) I would have paid the $80 in 2 days time, and each month after that. @Telstra you ****** up and overbilled me!

Paying for a top tier internet speed. Getting 3mbps that can't even run Netflix without choking every 30sec. Line of sight to the tower and it"s worse than the old copper ADSL was. Can't even lodge a complaint. Good job @Telstra
