@JamesCridland @Telstra I got the usual go to Web, support etc just after my reply to you. I'm buying an expensive phone and wanted more info on my present contract than is available.🙄

  • schnausdm david_myers (@schnausdm) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I fail to understand why the Americans use water boarding they should just have their victims call Telstra support. Maybe it the overseas call charges.

  • EarlWhite Earl White (@EarlWhite) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Greg, heard from the @Telstra staff a week ago who promised to sort my complaint SR 1-2547482226951. No change since. Cancelled service still being shown & billed for. Yet another #TelstraFail story. Now moving all other services away plus suggesting friends & family do the same

@RozChia I don’t have a choice. Optus doesn’t service this street. They service the street behind us and the streets at either end of ours, but not this one. Was with Telstra 1987-2008* and moved bc they’re useless. Turns out Optus is too but had to come back to Telstra when we came here

@Mikenicholls88 @nthnclrk @MariaMacNamara1 @SamHBarton When Australia created the Future Fund by selling Telstra, a public asset we all owned, it took a couple of dollars from you, and me, and Australia’s billionaires equally. The poor contributed relatively more. Create Future Fund 2 by asking billionaires to contribute more?

@Mumdeep @Telstra Can’t imagine a service organisation/ major utility would do that to a customer. Might be worth going into a store: we sorted out issue face-to-face setting up a PoA

  • QuikSand86 Damo (@QuikSand86) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

The Telstra Velocity Network is rubbish

  • JulieSnook Julie Snook (@JulieSnook) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Dear @Telstra I realize this isn’t the biggest issue given the current climate. However, we’ve been without internet for a week, which makes working from home a little tricky. It also means paying for a service we’re not receiving. Oh & you won’t answer the phone. Pls help xo

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@DDsD @Telstra I followed the link @Telstra gave you & received a credit, allegedly, although I’ll hold thanks till I actually see it. I suggest you try the same and ask for a credit commensurate with your current signal strength. Mine is at 1bar out of 4, so 25% strength should be a 75% credit

  • allytThomas Alexandra Thomas (@allytThomas) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@tonialgray @RandaltsRandal @Trish_Drumboys @Telstra Agree - trying to sort out issue for my 90 year old disabled mother. 3 weeks later no response to calls and emails from @telstra

  • DwayneLawrence_ Dwayne Lawrence (@DwayneLawrence_) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Been ongoing for weeks. Only in the rooty hill area. Maybe a cell tower problem?

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Hi @Telstra. The signal strength has been week here at home, next door to the exchange and antennas for several weeks at least now. I see you replies to others about this but I have not received a reply to my enquiry. When did this outage begin?

  • wheelyweb Joe Ortenzi 🇨🇦 🇮🇹 🇦🇺 (@wheelyweb) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@DDsD @Telstra Nor sure why I didn’t rate as much of a reply as David, but saying there’s a “technical issue” is far too lightweight. What people want to know is why, really, why, and when it will return? This has been happening for several weeks at least.

@_heleali @Telstra Jay Eff f🔞cking Sea!! I can’t wait to be on the En-Bee-f🔞cking-En . *currently on cable Internet and it sucks. Will be migrating to this crap all too soon

  • DTreffiletti Daniel Treffiletti (@DTreffiletti) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra more than 3hrs ago I was told it would be fixed within 2hrs. Only now after I followed up with a status update am I being asked for technical info which I have no idea about. I would have thought Telstra, who charges a premium for their service, would have the answers!

  • gundary4 Gundary4🎀 (@gundary4) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@FiddlingWhistle @Telstra Hang in there they took 2 days to get back to me

  • vickyquinlan1 Vicky Quinlan (@vickyquinlan1) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Day 2 of what could be a 4 day internet outage thanks to @Telstra. In a time where everyone is so dependant on the internet for their livelihoods, and as the largest provider of internet in the country, I find this utterly unacceptable. Up your game Telstra.

  • fictillius 🦠 Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Gotta love how Telstra can send you "you haven't paid your bill" emails after you've cancelled your last remaning service but terminate everything in MyAccount so you can’t see or pay said bill.

  • gundary4 Gundary4🎀 (@gundary4) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra @FiddlingWhistle I had this happen with Foxtel, they eventually got back to me. So hang in there they may back eventually

  • vickyquinlan1 Vicky Quinlan (@vickyquinlan1) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra We have now been told that internet will not be restored until Monday. We have checked all houses surrounding ours and it appears we are the only house with an outage (of course some houses may not have @Telstra). Someone senior needs to call us today and explain, not text, call.

  • Yoshiminun Alison Thomas (@Yoshiminun) reported

@CasaresPaco @jasonjames110 Ive been getting tons of those. It'll install flubot onto android devices. Ive been getting them on the reg. I have accumulated 21 of those texts in the past month that are now in spam/blocked. Apparently Telstra is aware that this is happening and has warned people of the issue.

  • l8uiz louis 🕴 (@l8uiz) reported

The Telstra website just **** itself I am not getting tickets

  • Flamingo0se cocktortureYT (@Flamingo0se) reported

    @Telstra fix your ****

  • ietsystems Brian Wilson (@ietsystems) reported

@Telstra Hi Ivan - nil 4G coverage so the modem is not in back up mode (despite less than 4km to nearest TX tower) - all mobiles showing seriously degraded 3G only. 4G in Kyneton is low due network congestion. I’m told cause is more engineering at town Exchange - is this correct?

  • NewtonMark Mark “Bannister-Safe” Newton (@NewtonMark) reported

@phenidone @acccgovau No, it's not their role. But nor is this stupid lawsuit, which is so pointless that it gets me, a reliable Telstra critic, to take Telstra's side in an ACCC battle. Imagine that.

  • phenidone William (@phenidone) reported

@NewtonMark @acccgovau The public good is that Telstra stops misleading customers. Even if there is no improvement to the NBN connection available to any particular customer. Note that in the case in TFA, the competition for NBN was provided by the 4G network... possibly Telstra's.

  • Dalts365 Grant Dalton #silversqueeze (@Dalts365) reported

@Telstra Yeah you can pm me no problem

  • marinemicrobe17 marinemicrobe17 (@marinemicrobe17) reported

If anyone knows why or can help with why all of my devices keep disconnecting from my wifi modem, it be greatly appreciated as @Telstra isn’t helping

  • phenidone William (@phenidone) reported

@NewtonMark @acccgovau If Telstra has backed itself into a corner that it must accept NBNco assurances on faith, that is at best commercial incompetence and negligence. ISPs will either need to negotiate a better deal (yes, hard with a monopolist but they could ask for ACCC help), or do validation.
