@eevblog I have both, NBN service stability is far less than Starlink's, so it is my backup. I could probably push traffic through both, did that with Telstra and Optus cable modems back in the day, but Starlink is so fast I haven't needed to bother.

@sydney_ev Actually it has been failing across remote Australia for decades. Telstra has unreliable network coverage as the middle of Australia can not have enough sunshine for their solar for days.

@FunkleberryTwit No, Howard's "non-core promises" were philosophically driven, not a response to a worsening situation. They included vows to "never ever" introduce a GST, not cut Medicare services, not to privatise Telstra, and that workers' take-home pay would not be affected, then WorkChoices

Has Telstra mobile been dog **** for anyone else in Sydney recently? Just tons more black spots of no coverage on 5g?

@AlboMP They also forced companies such as Telstra to sell me down the river, giving them unsolicited access to every single bit of what I do online 24/7. I remind you I have absolutely no criminal record. And even access the databases of the government, any and all legal forms I ever interacted with or approached or even considered, even supermarket transactions and camera data are delved into by them, posting the contents online ridiculing, mocking and insulting them. Even though they are the ones who have actively across the board disadvantaged me to a point of non-survival.

@stationmum101 I would have thought telstra had the good sense to keep their head down about this ,pot, kettle, black

@diss_presso @robb_j_m The problem was that Telstra weren't going to upgrade as they were using the money to install mobile towers and letting the fixed line to rot. Before being sold off they were looking at upgrade paths, but that all got stopped. Telstra were only interested in killing competition
