mark mcdonell 🐅🐅🏆 (@mcdonellaussie) reported from Numurkah, Victoria@janice_martin5 3 hours just a little less time then it would take to get someone at Telstra to talk to ya. (Not necessarily the person who could help that would be 3 days if ya lucky).

mark mcdonell 🐅🐅🏆 (@mcdonellaussie) reported from Wunghnu, Victoria@CrStuartJames @Telstra @Foxtel @kayosports Ask these guys for a hand @FOXTEL_Help they have sorted out many issues the idiot @Foxtel customer service people OS cannot do or will not do and do not care or even try to understand any more. I no longer use @Telstra or @Optus because of the call centres.

Chrissy D 🌼 (@DowseChristine) reported@BonoboWanderer @Batman2242 My starlink is super fast and $40 a month cheaper than telstra. I've had no issues at all.

Brian Basson (@BassonBrain) reported"Asia Pacific went from world first to regional wave in 18 months" In December 2024, One NZ’s Satellite TXT debuted as the region’s first Starlink D2D service, available at no cost to eligible customers. It spans approximately 40% of New Zealand’s total landmass, where terrestrial coverage is unavailable, as well as roughly 20 km offshore. KDDI followed in April 2025 with au Starlink Direct, Japan’s first D2D service, then added app data in August 2025, support for a limited set of bandwidth-light apps beyond texting, and the first D2D data service anywhere. Telstra launched Australia’s first satellite texting product in early June 2025. One NZ added app data, including WhatsApp voice calls, in February 2026. SoftBank and docomo launched in April 2026, making Japan the only market where three operators run live Starlink services. Globe became the latest in the sequence in June 2026 with the Philippines’ first commercial satellite-to-mobile permit from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).

Sassy Cass (@SassyCassAus) reported@lostonabikeOz @RoadknightThe My telstra phone copped it despite receiving pretty much zero anything else on the cellular network here. Odd.
-
Peter Leversha (@PeterLeversha) reported@merchant_s35416 @Bender_Aus Privatising telecom was the right thing to do. And selling off Telstra was an even better idea. Both were drains in the economy. Trying to get telecom to fix anything used to be a pain in the butt. Look at NBN, over priced garbage. There's nothing wrong with a user pays system. Why should people in Horsham pay for a road they don't use in Melbourne?
-
Anna Basic (@AnnaBasic2) reported@RoadknightThe Yes but no even text message ping let alone some type of alarm they where carrying on about. My personal I pad and my work I pad both with cellular connections with Telstra never received a text at all or picked up on my phone receiving the message but no alarm. My Fitbit that gets all my texts didn’t get the text.

elle la bombe (@dowhatonemustdo) reported@cptcapt Alex is always tackling the big stuff - the dates he worked at Telstra 😵💫 whilst ignoring the actual issue of suing for losing his job & him finding out the hard way he didn’t have a leg to stand on. That he calls you names on every occasion shows the low intellect of Alex.

stuart ingram (@jump_smash) reported@Ausbobsmit Idiot.... 1. Look at Howard's 1997 Defence Efficiency Review! 2. 1997, 1999 & 2006 Howard share sell off of Telstra!
-
wazza_gc (@WazzaGc) reported@Telstra been trying to pay a bill for the last *TWO* hours. Can't sign in. Mobile app: "we can't display your account, try later". Deleted and reinstalled app, no change. Windows 11: "something went wrong". This is ridiculous.
-
Polycon45 (@polycon45) reportedMy telstra data has been running like **** lately...slow, can't access and drop outs!

Ferdie Khnopff (@FKhnopff) reported@strangerous10 Telstra had a risk assessment signed off by the PM which said mitigations in place to isolate any faults, which were unlikely, & consequences was rated low. This meant the expenditure could be deferred. It was not a technical or a people problem. It was a pass the buck problem.
