@CrStuartJames @Telstra @Foxtel @kayosports Ask these guys for a hand @FOXTEL_Help they have sorted out many issues the idiot @Foxtel customer service people OS cannot do or will not do and do not care or even try to understand any more. I no longer use @Telstra or @Optus because of the call centres.

@janice_martin5 3 hours just a little less time then it would take to get someone at Telstra to talk to ya. (Not necessarily the person who could help that would be 3 days if ya lucky).

@Telstra The thing is, I have been doing this for months and there is no improvement. In fact, it seems to be getting worse. And I’m not the only one, so many people I talk to are having the same issue. Telstra clearly has issues that need to be fixed

@Telstra A Telstra tech came and determined that the problem is the underground cable/line between Grandma’s house and the exchange. This cable/line is faulty and that is the issue.

@Telstra Yep, they said "Wed 15 Dec 2021 8:00 PM AEST to Fri 17 Dec 2021 8:00 AM AEST" which would indicate it's already completed and yet here we are 🙃 I understand you guys can't help much since it's not a Telstra retail service. Appreciate you trying to help though

@Telstra Yes, @ALDIMobileAU is saying Telstra Wholesale is conducting "maintenance" in the area. They are not investigating this issue further because of this. However, Telstra Wholesale seems unaware of this outage and impact on customers including the inability to make emergency calls.

@Telstra Hi, I'm located in 2017 postcode area. This is a @ALDIMobileAU service, which uses the Telstra network. As far as I can tell, Telstra (retail) services are unaffected because of VoLTE and VoWiFi support. 4G to 3G handover and 3G for calling is completely broken

@leahoverthinks @abigiles21 Yeah I've even heard some shockers from Telstra staff themselves. Things like don't help the customer unless they agree to an upgrade etc. Optus is who I'm with here, Whilst they're super cheap compared to everyone else. No customer service outside their shops basically.

@Telstra Thanks, but I have run out of understanding and patience. This is the third major problem this year, including five months of sporadic internet. Regional areas are not getting the attention or service they require, despite the LNP nonsense about supporting the regions.

@Telstra So disingenuous, probably a bot anyway. Seriously, I highly recommend every customer switch from Telstra, all new customers search elsewhere and any shareholders sell their stock. Just pathetic.

@Telstra No, as NBN isn’t available in her area, so she’s still on ADSL, which obviously isn’t working. I assume that it has been escalated for a fix as the underground cable has been looked at by a tech three months ago and just yesterday Grandma spent 3 hours on the phone to @telstra.
