@CrStuartJames @Telstra @Foxtel @kayosports Ask these guys for a hand @FOXTEL_Help they have sorted out many issues the idiot @Foxtel customer service people OS cannot do or will not do and do not care or even try to understand any more. I no longer use @Telstra or @Optus because of the call centres.

@janice_martin5 3 hours just a little less time then it would take to get someone at Telstra to talk to ya. (Not necessarily the person who could help that would be 3 days if ya lucky).

How can they be so ******* bad at this? Every interaction I've ever had with @Telstra has been horrible, and they just don't learn anything, ever. All I wanted was a simple retail service, the thing their network of stores exists to sell, and they can't not screw it up.

@NewtonMark @Telstra Pretty standard customer service from Telstra. I am pretty sure they train the passive-aggressive asian accent lady in the Telstra call centre to work you up.

Online support has fixed that. So now the SIM ostensibly works. It has taken 11.5 hours from first visit to the Telstra shop to having a working SIM in a WiFi hotspot. I could have given up at any time. I don't know why I didn't.

@Telstra My manager's home service at Monaltrie 2480 is affected - this shows on the outages map and has been going on for days. Why can't Telstra act quicker? 2477 where I work it says no interruptions, which is clearly not true. Been days there also.

@NewtonMark In 1997 David Hall, the National General Manager of Telstra Mobilenet, told me he had teams working on fixing Telstra's customer service problems and they were "on the cusp of getting it right for everyone every time".

@Telstra Her landline service is on NBN and she has not reported fault on her landline. NBN was put on 17 Dec. All she needs is a 16 digit Telstra code to unlock her phone. That's all she is requesting for.

@Telstra At 5am the speed is excellent because it so early and no one online. With more visitors coming over the Christmas break it will be useless. Clubs with software in the cloud have been known to complain during their business time (Xmas and Easter ) because the net is so slow.
