    I was an @optus customer till Friday when I moved as a result and am bringing all my customers including some corporates with me to @BelongAU and @Telstra. I cannot risk having customers data exposed and have taken measures to mitigate the issue going forward #OptusClassAction

  • Ian_J_QLD Ian Joseph (@Ian_J_QLD) reported

    @manjusrii In light of this breach and the potential damage to individuals that may flow, it’d be interesting to know how Telstra and Vodafone manage identification documents, once their customer’s ID has been verified and an account opened. Ditto other utility providers…

    @australian @Telstra is the Solution

    @Telstra Appreciate? We have no options but to be patient. Fixed and its ongoing permanent issue. Mobile is better but only slightly. Can hardly even hotspot due to terrible connections. FNQ Queensland check the speeds up here and tell me you provide a good service.

  • GordyPls Ashwagandha Forever (@GordyPls) reported

    @kcarruthers @RachaelHasIdeas Telstra were playing with the idea that because most everyone has given them 100 points of ID, they could set up a verification service for other businesses to identify mutual customers. Dunno if it went anywhere.

  • DrAngelaEgan Angela Egan (@DrAngelaEgan) reported

    @Telstra Please. Telstra tried sending me a code as a text but I haven’t received it so now I can’t get help

  • tylrdavid #RepublicNow (@tylrdavid) reported

    @anthonyportelli @AustralianLabor @ClareONeilMP Yeah you're not wrong. But say you get a phone via Telstra, maybe they don't need proof that it's your ID. Maybe they want a picture, do you really want to send that given what just happened? Or maybe you need to go into a store to verify, so **** rural/regional customers.

  • hamishdoyle Hamish Doyle (@hamishdoyle) reported

    @Telstra when do your team actually help people??? Your complaint team are hopeless and stated that anything the 11 other people told me is wrong. I just want my phone and apology.

  • humma49 Humma49 Mate (@humma49) reported

    Providers lease the lines from Telstra. So look at them first for the breach! Take down optus! Who's next? Digital system will be one provider!!! and who owns it? The gov elites!!

    @eveharrington Apart from anything else, when did Telstra EVER call and offer to help with a problem? Biggest red flag in the universe!
