It’s taken 53minutes for a Telstra live chat representative to tell me that the fault is with my modem.... God I hope that’s the worst of it.

@Telstra_news @TelstraEnt @Telstra are usually pretty quick to contact you when you don’t pay for their service...but they’re pretty bloody slow when their service sucks and you make multiple requests for assistance. Cmon, it’s 2019 and a week w/out internet shouldn’t happen

@dilemski @Telstra Yeah I know. After 4 days it’s still not lit. I’m using my mobile as a hotspot. Thankfully @telstra are “working on it” *insert rage-filled sarcasm here*. I should have switched to @Optus instead of trusting Telstra to provide a decent service. I’m sure they’ll charge me for it

@Telstra Has been down again. Oberon needs a second site, such as on the exchange, to cover the town, especially when the tower goes down. Battery and/or diesel would improve reliability.

Sitting at home between 8am and 12 because @Telstra says a technician is coming but the technician doesn’t show and you end up all caps and exclamation marks with someone in a call centre who cops this crap all day but can’t help is next-level frustrating.

@Telstra No, but the previous response said the offers available to those who change to plans above $95, or new customers. My plan is $99. A new customer can get an $80 plan +12 months free Disney. Why should I change my plan? Why don’t I qualify?

@SanatanaMishra Correct, best option is Telstra 5G if you are near a tower. **** is insane. All the money went into private mobile internet (and even the mobile NBN options are dogshit terrible).
