@ServicesGovAU i have recorded a voice recognition phrase every.single.time. that I call. For some reason, my previous recordings are not there. I have mentioned this to customer service numerous times and they have no idea why it does that. Maybe get in touch with @Telstra

  • TrishKurralinga
Patricia Rutherford (@TrishKurralinga) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@mormorlady @rubin_angela I had one claim to be from Telstra. I asked for a reference number, which I wrote down (has lots of r for rats in it) then I asked for her supervisors telephone number, & she hung up. Deducted she was a fraud. Normally I just don't bother with time wasters.Tell them FO & hang up.

@Kop_this @freodockers @rupertmurdoch Hmmm, this I did not know. I haven't gone down this path since I lived in Melbourne and Foxtel was the only way to see Freo games. Kayo is $5 a month for Telstra customers.

@Telstra It’s my wife’s issue, she tried to raise the issue with store manager, was told he wasn’t interested in talking to her.The sales person put her on hold & came back with that response. She was upset at the sale person kept saying its her fault. Put in a complaint via Telstra websit

  • donellechausome
Donelle (@donellechausome) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@gourdo_bruno @Telstra They are pathetic. I’ve signed up with #AussieBoadband. The service was great. Got to speak to people in Australia and signed up within 10 mins. They’ve won awards for their service. They rate higher than @telstra so **** them.

  • ogettings
Oliver Gettings (@ogettings) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

On another note, your service to recycle Telstra modems is very much appreciated. You should advertise this more. 👍

  • phil_honey
Philip Honey (@phil_honey) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@robilange @burgess_ag @jemo44 Boost is another option, and believe that Telstra have given them access to all towers/whole network. Most other wholesale users don’t have access to all of the towers unfortunately.

  • AunatEridu
David Herne (@AunatEridu) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@Telstra as a long-time customer, I am effectively cutting-off from assistance looking at my plans. Your chat bot is running around in circles and my local store will not take my calls.

  • stumain22
Stuart Main (@stumain22) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@PatrickGormanMP @acccgovau They are all dodgy. I used to work at Telstra and the way they would train you to sell products was usually not in the customers best interest. Top down sales tactics usually the go to. Optus are guilty of the same tactics as they tried to rip me off as well

  • MeckeringBoy
💧Michael Dowling-Demand renewable covid recovery! (@MeckeringBoy) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@markmorey5 I get around 50Mbps but STILL have buffering issues EVERY day. And I’m with Telstra. Australia is a joke. Why do we always get third rate infrastructure and crap services? Labor build to gold standard. LNP sabotage everything... From Medicare to NBN NDIS CSIRO ABC. #auspol

  • numloxx
Carsten Bauer (@numloxx) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@Telstra That didn't answer my question. Australia has an unsecured phone system that the government or even telcos refuse to acknowledge or fix.

  • glen_foreman
Glen Foreman (@glen_foreman) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@TheSportsFreak @SevenPerth @AFL @Foxtel Have a soul, so VIC thing no issue 😉 Kids + my own sport in an hour, rules out pub. Unfortunately not a @Telstra customer for the same reason I had to ditch @Foxtel (💲💲). And love @abcgrandstand coverage, but nothing beats pictures. Your point is valid tho: 1st world problem

  • BigV2011WCE
Victor Yong #StaySafe 🇦🇺 (@BigV2011WCE) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

Take the signage down at Optus stadium or else we won’t have the GF. Telstra are a partner of the AFL.

I'm almost done with @Telstra. Two months in a row I've had bill problems with Foxtel by Telstra. I tried to cancel it a couple weeks ago but they gave me a good discount. Get new bill today, discount applied BUT the price of it went up, wiping out the discount. 🤬🤬

  • Jaccal68

@westonnights You ain’t seen nothin yet Current Business Context (2025–2026) Telstra is currently executing its "Connected Future 30" strategy, which emphasizes building a self-optimising "Autonomous Network". The company frequently uses AICC forums to stay connected with Israeli high-tech developments that can support these infrastructure goals.” AICC being the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce

  • DaveONewcastle
    David J O'Brien 🌏💧 (@DaveONewcastle) reported

@rooboy_18 @Telstra @BelongAU Nice- Inflationary effect, cost of living incr' + them charging more for decreasing standards of service provision, sure makes #Telstra look like greedy, divisive, heavy hitting #CorporateVultures.

  • MSVLKnight
    Michael (@MSVLKnight) reported

@PeterWMurphy1 In defence of telecomms in this country - Telstra has been obligated under the Universal Service Obligation to provide the first landline at a premises for the same price - regardless of location at the same price as the first line in a CBD. This does not apply to Vodafone...

  • realglenappleby
    Glen Appleby (@realglenappleby) reported

@PollyPorridge Been ok lately. But sick of - pointless kayo ads for the kayo service - gambling being the primary advertiser - Telstra / Harvey Norman being the rest Kayo has excellent targeted to postcode ads for elections - but clearly there isn’t anyone new adverting

  • AussieLeafsDan

**** you @Telstra your service has been ******* horrible over the last 2 weeks, calls just drop out, barely any reception in built up areas, videos not loading getting the wheel of death and then you send me a notification that my bill is going up by $4 a month. Get ******!!

@MarkAClarkson @Telstra I left Telstra years ago and not going back unless they are the only one left in the market. Telstra is the most expensive service provider in the world. They are also not honest about the blackspot in many parts of remote areas.

  • SachinGadagin
    Statistics World (@SachinGadagin) reported

@Globalstats11 Telstra and EE feel very consistent in service quality, while Singtel and NTT Docomo stand out more for their technology and innovation approach.

@NedKellysReveng @RealDonKeith Shut up *****. You sound gay. Considering I had to help Telstra pull you ****** retards into the 21st century technologically, I don’t give a **** what you mfs have to say about us “yanks.”
