Gotta love Telstra Wholesale techs. Reported to Telstra when we moved in that there's severe damage to the POTS relay near our house. They send someone to prop it up with a stake and some ziplock ties. It falls over again later, same dealio.

On Saturday night I have caught a glimpse AFL game. The Ukrainian colors on the score line were a reminder of what virtue signaling POS the AFL is. Almost as bad as Telstra putting stay safe stay home 💩on the mobile devices !

  • footyindustryAU sportsindustry (@footyindustryAU) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@johnsonleung @oethesaint @Tenash921 My understanding is that the afl website and associated network are Telstra assets. Telstra recieves all the advertising profit.

  • thebradfitz Brad Fitz (@thebradfitz) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Hello, this is Kevin from Telstra, I hope you’re having a wery wery good day. I see you’re having internet issues. Yes Kevin, I am (proceeds to tell Kevin life story) Beep beep beep… Seems Kevin didn’t want to know my issues

  • AltoCarol Caz (@AltoCarol) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Telstra - your so called Gold VIP help message service is failing miserably. Either employ staff who can understand a basic problem or don't bother. All you've done today is waste my time.

  • Michael61058663 Michael / Mind Health not Mental Health (@Michael61058663) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@delmaclifton OMG Delma, Telstra are so frustrating, even when you go in store the treatment can be quite poor. My big pond drops out all the time, getting over them!!!

  • scottyisrocky Rocky Scotty (non cave dweller) 🍀🕊️ (@scottyisrocky) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Hey @woolworths and @Telstra 1/ Can you tell me why when I purchase a Woolworths Mobile Sim card which uses the Telstra network I have to pay to have my phone unlocked by Telstra to use their network? And why does it takes 8-10 days to perform a task that's 2 clicks of a mouse?

  • iammrdom Mr Dom (@iammrdom) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

I’m stuck thinking about my mobile carrier, so I stay with an Optus MVNO or go to a Telstra ‘full service’ MVNO. It’s complicated. There’s $10 a month in it between the two companies.

  • Michael61058663 Michael / Mind Health not Mental Health (@Michael61058663) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Narty0071 @FedEx Breathe my friend, I feel your pain. Have noticed though with many services today, shhh......TELSTRA, people are given the run around, thinking you’ve got nothing better to do!!! Hang in there, things will sort themselves out🌷

  • lateniteliamttv Liam (@lateniteliamttv) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Telstra The tips on the page you linked include "have you tried restarting your device?" And the troubleshooting service requires me to login to my Telstra account. The one that's not under my name. And I don't/can't have the details for. 2/10

  • kenmaharchitect Ken Mah (@kenmaharchitect) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Our pm is doing a good job with fostering good relations with countries around the region including our pacific neighbours. But? Why do we have to pay Telstra, a private company, to help keep Huawei out? This is not fair competition, it has anti China components and unnecessary.

  • HeReTTiK Just_BeL (@HeReTTiK) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Of molecular cells these ***** are in China now their not in Australia their now based in China I can't even get out of bed today iv got a headache and my whole body is heavy I kid you not they ate trying to kill me you published my private number ***** why ? #telstra #help

  • STEVEFI14205588 STEVE FISCHER (@STEVEFI14205588) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@gomichild Problem is Auspost is like Telstra these days. Difficult to tell which ones are employees or contractor couriers! They can sack a female CEO 1 year over a watch & next year pay male execs $1000's in bonuses. I mean WTAF???

  • Jacqui_E_mcgill Jacqui McGill AO MBA (@Jacqui_E_mcgill) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

Hey @telstra I am truly amazed at how bad your online support is. Seriously so far trying to establish data sharing across devices has taken 6 hours and I still haven’t progressed past getting the new sim.

  • lateniteliamttv Liam (@lateniteliamttv) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Telstra I cannot reach out because the person who's name it's under is currently overseas so I cannot access the account. I have however troubleshooted the network with IT professionals, an ISP professional and performed every single step that would be provided to me by Telstra support.

  • luke_strud Luke Strudwick (@luke_strud) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Telstra @noMercy_19 @Telstra same thing happened to me and the missus trying to buy iPhone 13 outright at Marion shopping centre in adelaide. We waited for ages then got a rude lady and told no stock so we went to Jb-hifi and the girl there was lovely so bought and left happy.

  • iammrdom Mr Dom (@iammrdom) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@EsotericSpod I’ve been happy with their service and coverage, pretty much identical to full Telstra but you don’t (yet) get VoLTE, instead voice drops back to 3G.

  • gdrosser Glynis Rosser 😷💉💉 (@gdrosser) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

@Telstra I do thank you. There seems to be a lag of hours between DM responses but no commitment yet to look at the problem

  • RoylanceShelley Shelley Roylance (@RoylanceShelley) reported from Adelaide, State of South Australia

    @TraceySpicer @Telstra @NBN_Australia That’s terrible

Telstra Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • CarolBurnit El Guapo 🤠 (@CarolBurnit) reported

@AlphaDaemon Telstra (nationalized telecom) in AU provides outstanding service for great price, thus forcing its competitors the same. Aussies don't think they have it good until you tell them our service/rates.

  • markyrocks William Marks (@markyrocks) reported

@somewherein84 Telstra is by far the most expensive provider and also the worst for customer service. If you need the telstra service go through Woolworths.

  • kels_316 Adam (@kels_316) reported

@insurgoformica @Telstra it would suck, but imagine if Telstra was competent at service delivery? Then it wouldn’t suck.

  • parflokim parflokim (@parflokim) reported

@Telstra another useless online chat with Telstra help. My internet went down from 80+ mbps to 12 to 15mbps and the response “that’s expected”. Never had that speed in 3 years.

  • east13Melbourne 🆎 (@east13Melbourne) reported

@HBWonder @9NewsMelb @MimiRoseBecker Telstra business centre taking over salvos building will fix that more than losing Mont Albert station will hurt I reckon. Lorne parade Park and lack of access to cross Mont Albert Rd bigger issues.

  • mohitg76 Mohit Gupta (@mohitg76) reported

@Telstra No news still.. I have been told to go to a store and buy a mobile broadbnabd service as apparently @NBN_Australia and @Telstra are unable to install home broadband

  • kels_316 Adam (@kels_316) reported

****** bad solidarity from me today, I’m sorry. But you work for telstra and I can’t be expected to maintain perfect praxis in these circumstances.

  • Descarts11 💧Decart (@Descarts11) reported

I am seriously fed up with Telstra!! An hour on their chat msg service as phoning them is useless, and still not resolved a simple query to get my service to show up in my account. Good grief its 2021

  • tjscott Claire (@tjscott) reported

Filled out the @Telstra name change form a few months ago, nothing got updated so reached out to their chat support tonight, looks like the agents are unable to check an account without forcing you to deadname yourself. I'd rather they fix their system than update my account

  • Merryn_Porter Merryn Porter (@Merryn_Porter) reported

@somewherein84 There should be a support group for people who have dealt with Telstra
