If you ever have a bad day just remember I read Telstra as Toyota today and wondered why I was being called about a fault with a car.

@geoffrey_payne @vision_iii Margins of the providers have been eaten up by wholesale costs. It’s worse now than it was when Telstra owned the fixed line network. Telcos avoiding the NBN makes the NBN business worse and more of a loss for taxpayers

@christianharrup @cityofsydney @CloverMoore I’m all for good planning and well-designed phone boxes too, but don’t think blame rests on Telstra here. Those phone boxes, ugly or not, are an essential service to those w/out phones. Telstra are not designers. Good design management would consider that.

@christianharrup And maybe Telstra should employ landscape architects if not already? I am guessing, that for the engineer, they’d see the phone hooked up quickly and working for the public as a high level of service to the council.

@Optus How about warning network when this is happening, it’s called customer service @VodafoneAU and @Telstra are all over me to switch. Maybe a credit for customers for lack of contract performance? Or do we switch?

Is Telstra mobile really crap in the Mountains, or is it because I’m using a cheap reseller? I can rarely watch a 3m video without massive pauses, even with 2-3-4 bars of reception.

Hey @Telstra I’m struggling w an answer abt unlocking my phone. MyTelstra support giving me mixed answers. Please confirm if it says “no SIM restrictions” it means my phone unlocked and I don’t need to go back to a shop & pay $80 or $25 to unlock. Then I can put new SIM in

@MikeCarlton01 Yep utter Bullshit Mr Fletcher. When Turnbull announced the fibre to the node approach, every Professional IT person in the country cringed. We knew that the old Telstra network was way past its use by date and would create nothing but trouble trying to handle NBN transmission👎🏽

@Telstra Happy to say that I rang the First Nations Hotline @Telstra and the customer service was exceptional. After several weeks of trying to get this sorted I found someone that took time to listen and sort the issue out. Thank you Sanisha you deserve a medal 🥇

@Telstra As if I can be bothered helping you guys fix a fault for somewhere I am parked for 10 minutes. Telstra is poor coverage in general now and reporting it doesn’t help I’ve tried at home for 6 months.

Ordered a major xmas gift on **11 Oct** with @Telstra. Still dont have it. Have been lied to re delivery date every week for a month now. Help operators are useless. No answer to basic qs. Thought I’d use some reward pts since they were just sitting there. Never again.

It's wonderful that @Telstra keeps acknowledging that there is a problem with my NBN service and fix it. I have reminisced what the old dial up services were like for long enough I am ready for the 21st century again.

@cjhogbin @chrisprimod @AlboMP A monopoly of infrastructure - but a competitor of service provision, for which it’s competitors needed access to its infrastructure. What a mess!!!! Rudd made a rational decision in the public interest to end the Telstra tyranny and invest in the future.

@cindyn Belong is a division of Telstra, so they access the best network. Check a coverage map before you purchase, but that's your best hope of a decent signal.

30-35 minute wait for @Telstra support. #Mallacoota calls intermittently dropping out on landlines and mobile phone services all day in Mallacoota. Maybe Telstra could urgently invest some of its huge profits to actually provide efficient service to its captive regional customers
-
MonkeyJaguar
(@MonkeyJaguar) reported
@cjhogbin @chrisprimod @AlboMP Turnbull still clings to the idea that the NBN should have been left to industry. The problem was that industry didn’t see enough ROI and Telstra, who monopoly owned copper thanks to Howard, was not going to invest without Government subsidy ($15 billion in 2006).

@Claire_Juranic I have a theory that Telstra coverage is so **** over Sydney's North Shore train line because the NIMBYs in the area wont let a cellular tower to be built anywhere between Chatswood and Gordon.

On hold to Telstra for an hour to get my son blocked from the broadband for making AI versions of my books where everything's normal except I look like a ***** great big lizard, only for them to tell me I havent been a customer for years. How ******** am I supposed to know that!
-
MonkeyJaguar
(@MonkeyJaguar) reported
@cjhogbin @chrisprimod @AlboMP So nothing happened and Telstra kept holding up connections to ADSL network that they owned by other competitor services. It could take up three months to get connected! In Sydney. Because Telstra was a Howard Givernment created private monopoly.

@Telstra I think being lied to yesterday, and today, and being threatened in the past, giving wrong information, lying directly about correct customer service. Tell me how you care?
