Telstra Issues Reports Near Caddens, State of New South Wales

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Caddens and nearby locations:

  • mdjwill Morgan Williams (@mdjwill) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra ...there was little to no communication to your customers on why they have been impacted and when they could expect normal service. (2/2)

  • jasonberry Jason Berry (@jasonberry) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@rossjmitchell @Telstra Yeah, my confidence is not high in it being resolved today. It wouldn’t be so bad if their 4G coverage was decent at my house either so that we could use the mobile fallback, but it’s one bar at best.

  • miszNes Vanessa (@miszNes) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Dm has been sent, I called 3 times on Friday with a promise of follow up with nothing in return I have dealt with the pressing urgent matter of recovering my sim in store but you guys are yet to do shit about the rest. Let's hope you do better .

  • mdjwill Morgan Williams (@mdjwill) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra It's currently Saturday evening and I am not at work, however, the issue has been constant from Monday Feb 3 through to Friday Feb 7. I believe that Telstra was aware of the issue as it was on the website but... (1/2)

  • bigyahu Alan "Bootsie" Jones (@bigyahu) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@cherylgledhill @Telstra Oh you poor bugger, I’m sorry Chez. Part of me still suspects I’ll get another bill next month somehow. #ThoughtsAndPrayers

  • bigyahu alan “Ally Of The Oppressive Matriarchy” jones* (@bigyahu) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@simonwaight @Telstra @Optus This is a business account which apparently by law they have to issue a monthly paper statement for. Part of me wants to let them keep sending me paper statements for years. But environment says no.

  • jasonberry Jason Berry (@jasonberry) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Outage for @Telstra cable internet (non-nbn) in Lindfield NSW since Jan 30, and it’s not listed on the service status site so I went through all of the troubleshooting and phoned up where they told me there’s a huge outage that won’t be fixed until Feb 3. Waste of time that was.

  • steveathon Steve King (@steveathon) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So I am being forced on to the @NBN_Australia infrastructure and @Telstra is attempting to "uprgade" my service to a more expensive, slower, less feature rich service.

  • EmmaH1123 Emma Hegedüs🌹 (@EmmaH1123) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @Mitch_NAU @Telstra @NRL Why not 😭 This sucks

  • JonoHerrman Jonathan Herrman (@JonoHerrman) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@GladysB @Asher_Wolf @NSWSES Can’t... power down since Sun. @Telstra black hole and 3G/4G booster (their solution that cost ~$2k!) therefore out... modem also dead so @NBN_Australia doesn’t work (no #Internet). #VoIP phone dead. Looking at a diesel generator... middle of #Sydney’s #NorthShore 🙁

  • yinyinyangyang3 Scoups♡.♡ (@yinyinyangyang3) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Being on hold for a good 25 mins with @Telstra so they can check how long a outage was in jan to give me a refund

  • desiderious Didier (@desiderious) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra having issues with 7plus on TelstraTV skipping non stop. Reset didn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled and now it won't sign in! Running latest firmware. SEND HELP

  • midii Ken Moore (@midii) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@jendudley @Telstra I saw that. I pay more for the nbn than my mobile by almost double. Will be going down a plan or scrapping it for 4G.

  • livlovesstuff 💃🏻LADY LIV ⚔️ (@livlovesstuff) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Don’t worry, I’ve done everything and been in contact with y’all to report the problem. Just not impressed with the slow pace of things until service is restored.

  • miszNes Vanessa (@miszNes) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra telecommunication ombudsmen here we come !!! How someone walked into a store and walked out and took over my life in 10 minutes you allowed this so much for privacy and trust **** you guys

  • bigyahu Alan "Bootsie" Jones (@bigyahu) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@tommyjowitt @Telstra Oh, I’m a Vodafone customer now. ...for the time being 😉

  • midii Ken Moore (@midii) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@jendudley @Telstra The problem with Telstra is they give you unlimited data but vary the speed based off spend. $90 gets you 50mbps. $75 gets you 25mbps which to me sounds like it’s time to look elsewhere.

  • DarthTrader72 Darth Trader (@DarthTrader72) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Last day in Australia and one last time i have to deal with @Telstra’s god awfull ******* goddamn terrible internet service! On 20min off 20min aaaaaaalll day long baby! Incompetence truly has a name now!

  • scott_thewspot Scott (@scott_thewspot) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@cjjosh @ben_hr The reason I joined twitter in the first place was to have my system management send me sms alerts using twitter api because it was free, but would cost $2/sms via Telstra bridge service

  • steveathon Steve King (@steveathon) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia Thanks Brian. As it happens the @Telstra rep blamed nbnco for the additional fees. It's all feels like a bit of a terrible joke to be honest, but thanks for replying.

@hutcho66 The proposition in the article is absurd. How would these minimum service standards be set and who would have to pay for their cost? And the Telstra analogy is not valid because Qantas is not a monopoly. Agree that better consumer protections would be a much better way to go.

  • DarkMatterzine Dark Matter Zine: 😷 💉 💉 💉 💉 (@DarkMatterzine) reported

@veromeanstruth @TammyWolffs @MarekRivers really the later. Privatisation is only considered worthwhile for buyers if they stand to make $$$$$. Look at Telstra, QANTAS, electricity etc. Historically also results in major problems with infrastructure due to negligence IMO

  • lisasshoes 𝓛𝓲𝓼𝓪 𝓢𝓹𝓸𝓻𝓷 (@lisasshoes) reported

My @foxtel service bundled with @Telstra won’t work. I’ve called @telstra 4 times today & I still have NO service. Technical support is now unavailable- I guess the techies have knocked off for the day. I’m a long term paying customer, no service provided. - this is pathetic.

  • TinasheFay Tilla (@TinasheFay) reported

Someone need to shake up the @optus and @Telstra. Poor management, inability to provide quality services. At the price Australians pay for the services. @elonmusk you can make a fortune in Australia by bringing in your own telco to compete with these two networks.

  • FinanceSavvy1 Squires70 (@FinanceSavvy1) reported

@Telstra Jessica. It’s not just my phone. It’s others in the area who use Telstra. There’s no service.

  • rtrisheleanor Trish Roberts (@rtrisheleanor) reported

@Telstra I called 132200. The person was rude, ended the call.

  • yidashengli 森森 (@yidashengli) reported

is it just me or is the Telstra network noticeably worse than Optus around the city

  • vaughan_k Ken. (@vaughan_k) reported

@Telstra #poor performance and #CustomerExperience when I couldn't even get assistance from staff to turn off voicemail as I was told to go to the website and app, ah the reason I contacted staff was because the website and app was useless. 😠😠😠👎👎👎

  • Hazzbam7 Hazza (@Hazzbam7) reported

@stairmandan1 @Altacco91337887 @OzraeliAvi I don’t think Telstra can legally give out that information as it’s against customer privacy

  • ADG_is_me Alex G (AU version) (@ADG_is_me) reported

telstra business account offers no bills by email! But billing person emails you the PDF WTF!!?? mybloodboils Saddest part, SIM is for the billing service vendor, and testing
