Telstra Issues Reports Near Yatala, State of Queensland

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Yatala and nearby locations:

  • Gary_AE Gary Austin-Eames (@Gary_AE) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra I have had to place a complaint about the complaints department, believe it or not. I'm over it. It was actually the complaints supervisor who gave me that timeframe. So much for overseas call centres.

  • kevdee4 Kevin Rankin (@kevdee4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra I keep getting told 24-48 hours and it will be completed, this was last week. I rang up on Thursday and I was told to wait another 72 hours. Absolute nonsense, just fix it or if you can’t tell me and I will go elsewhere.

  • Timothyjgraham Tim Graham (@Timothyjgraham) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra have throttled our backup 4G internet, which we have been using while we wait 4 months to get NBN installed... We can barely use the internet - can’t even FaceTime with loved ones 😞. Fortunately I have an open complaint with the ombudsman. Disgraceful. Cc @ACCAN_AU

  • Mcali4 liz franklin (@Mcali4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@RBJRON @AussiemacJ @Telstra I'd absolutely demand a new one. You have to go really hard and be persistent. I got them to offer my old dad a (temporary) satellite phone when they failed to attend an appt to fix his landline. He can't use a mobile (hopeless at it) . They make a fortune from us.

  • camo1977 Cam Stewart (@camo1977) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@FionaLakeAus @always_farmer @GusWhyte @Telstra The local @Telstra store is appalling, told my father in his late 60s to wait and hour and a half to pay a bill. Won’t let you in basically as there is a gatekeeper who trolls the entrance collecting details and assigning you a spot in line. Absolutely no customer service at all

  • ProfBravus David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

I’m quick enough to take @Telstra to task when there’s a problem, so I’ll be just as quick to give credit where it’s due. They texted me to say “No extra charge but we’re speeding up your cable internet”. And man, have they! 80-85 Mbps. Very happy, thank you!

  • kevdee4 Kevin Rankin (@kevdee4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra I’d be happy if you’d make my adsl work first, everytime I talk to an employee no one can give me an answer to what the problem is. And you have the cheek to send me the bill within the first 2 days. Terrible customer service too, useless.

  • Mcali4 liz franklin (@Mcali4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@RBJRON @AussiemacJ @Telstra @Telstra..if a lightning strike can damage ypur equipment surely you can replace the thing..he's a loyal customer and still paying for internet ..don't treat him like crap.

  • lachgriffiths Lachie (@lachgriffiths) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra Internet down once again in 4179, great work. Please stop allowing me from finishing my assignment for the second month in a row with absolutely no compensation..

  • ProfBravus David Geelan (@ProfBravus) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra No, all it says is that it’s a problem with the NBN network. No further information. I understand you at Telstra may not be getting the info you need. Just a frustrating experience.

  • RonJanjua Ron Janjua (@RonJanjua) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra Your immediate solution to our internet connection issue was to send out someone that wasn’t equipped fix the issue you’ve known about for 2 weeks! #unprofessional have someone competent contact me by end of business or this goes to the #ombudsman and a complaints to corporate!

  • RobbieShenton Robbie Shenton (@RobbieShenton) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Stressed out today. Going onto the dreaded NBN HFC. Heard nothing but bad things about the Arcadyan Modem from Telstra. Especially how its causing all sorts of issues with Xbox.

  • AlexJSmithy Alex Smith (@AlexJSmithy) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Ok so @Optus kills off @virginmobile and make all customers switch to #Optus. The process has been a total stuffup. Hours spent on chat and then they cancel #Virgin service before Optus works. Oh and then it takes yet another chat. Makes @Telstra look amazing #pissedoff

  • RudigerLandmann Rüdiger Landmann (@RudigerLandmann) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra I never agreed to anything like these charges. The people I spoke to on the phone tonight were extremely unhelpful and uncaring and couldn’t even get their facts straight.

  • francisd62 F Oblomov Chalmers (@francisd62) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@telstra You"ll understand the cynicism perhaps about any 5G promises. Your service reeks of bad faith and distrust.

  • lachgriffiths Lachie (@lachgriffiths) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra It may be officially time to jump boat to OPTUS, not ideal situation but after the last 3 months of my Internet randomly going down for days at time with no explanation the frustration is a 10/10.

  • Tur71e Brett Turville (@Tur71e) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra guys, I’ve been trying to get a simple problem sorted for over a week - I’m a new customer and have spent over 4 hours the past week on the phone and only to be told my install tomorrow not happening. Your mistake not mine #duplicateorder #twomodems

  • BBreggie REGINA SORENSEN (@BBreggie) reported from Gold Coast, State of Queensland

@Telstra I’ve done everything and it’s not working

  • RudigerLandmann Rüdiger Landmann (@RudigerLandmann) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra Sure; just trying to get the facts straight for when I make that complaint. From what you’re saying, it sounds like that SIM shouldn’t have worked at all! (Since it wasn’t on a valid plan for overseas)

  • smadge1 Stephen Reeves 🔫 (@smadge1) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra Ok, the consultant I talked to couldn’t help me...

  • TradinCrypto HODLing Crypto (@TradinCrypto) reported

    @0xAndyMF Sorry I’m a Telstra customer !

  • kristoforlawson Kristofor Lawson (@kristoforlawson) reported

Something I do not understand is why @Telstra place a 400GB limit on their 5G mobile broadband service. Why not allow people to buy extra data if they need extra?

  • angybhai Angadh Oberoi (@angybhai) reported

@Telstra Still doesn't work. Says I'm already registered. When I go to try and pay my bill, it says there's no account registered. Super effing frustrating. Then you guys will just disconnect my service and blame me for your system being ****

  • Wadeos22 Quota Fishing (@Wadeos22) reported

Righto Telstra. What the actual ****. In the last year or so with all your “improvements” your reception has gotten worse and worse. **** your 5g #fuckyou

  • BehemothErebus Behemoth of Erebus (@BehemothErebus) reported

@telstra So, how long until we can expect our services to be fixed? I live out of a town, and heavily rely on my phone and internet services. Every now and then, I get a slither of a connection. I usually never have this issue, but suddenly I have virtually nothing.

  • brettkleidon Brett Kleidon (@brettkleidon) reported

@Telstra I’ve tried 3 different browsers on each device. Sometimes it fails when trying to login to my newly created ID, sometimes after I’ve inputted my details for the order. Seriously tried over 20 times. Over it.

  • KyliesRose Kylie Rose (@KyliesRose) reported

@Telstra That would be great Greg, we have many international visitors at Phillip Island this week for MotoGP. They really need phone service.

  • itsrenatak Renata (@itsrenatak) reported

@Telstra Yes they do and I have come across so many customers complaining over Twitter that the Telstra app is not loading and even the people working in my local Telstra Store say they are experiencing loading issues too.

  • atsinalim_ sm (@atsinalim_) reported

@Telstra does your support usually shut the phone in people's face when they ask to block a non-telstra device by IMEI? quoting ur website "if you’re using a non-Telstra device or isn’t included with your current plan, you’ll need to supply your IMEI number and proof of purchase"

  • KadakKaspar Kaspar (@KadakKaspar) reported

@TheDiscoSteve @igorsushko Its false claim if youre in your hatred bubble and refuse to accept reality and force yourself to come up with reasons to hate. Oh btw. Just set up my Starlink. Before I had Telstra mobile max 8 mbps down, now I got almost 200 mbps download speed. Thanks SpaceX!
