@yodaberg @Optus I’ve had alot of problems with them lately & the only thing that worked was going into a store. Chat is probably the next most helpful & you can get a transcript of what they’ve promised to action.

Nothing like spending your spare time in an @Optus store because the customer service call centre are so inefficient & haven’t cancelled two numbers, one dating back to October 2017, despite being asked to on more than 2 occasions. $120 p/m charges need to be reimbursed, too.

You just have to love @Optus. 2nd time in a few months they have cancelled our work email. Whole account system is attached to it. No warning. Just cancelled. Thousands of dollars at a stake. Service response, ‘nothing we can do’.

Just spoke with family in Tuross Heads. Tuross is unaffected apart from smoke. Connectivity available on the Telstra network (but not optus). Power just turned on at 2am this morning. Water is on and working. #SouthCoastFires #BushfireEmergency #tuross

@Haydztweets @Jacko_GFreak @Telstra @Optus @iiNet Well no, some POIs have a higher capacity then others and it comes down to if they can actually support the speeds. If you're on a POI that is at almost capacity then the chances of getting higher speeds are limited, which is why people hit that 7pm slowdown.

@RegulusEridani @Optus Interesting, Optus billing always works and on time, but fault resolution & reporting is such an incredibly painful process. Also great advertising for Optus Gamepath. Pay extra for substandard service and slow fault resolution. Ombudsman time I think

@drdrdr09 I’ve never seen any telco shops over there. When I switched to Optus from Telstra last year, for the same reasons we’re discussing, the Optus Charlestown store guys knew of the coverage problem here. It’s worth asking. I’m still on 3G tonight, got two bars… yaaaay

@Optus @caraxian yes you guys need to fix this so we can play... maybe you can also sort your network routing entirely so it's not 200ms to JP servers instead of 130ms that telstra has.
