    Nothing like spending your spare time in an @Optus store because the customer service call centre are so inefficient & haven’t cancelled two numbers, one dating back to October 2017, despite being asked to on more than 2 occasions. $120 p/m charges need to be reimbursed, too.

    @yodaberg @Optus I’ve had alot of problems with them lately & the only thing that worked was going into a store. Chat is probably the next most helpful & you can get a transcript of what they’ve promised to action.

    @Haydztweets @Jacko_GFreak @Telstra @Optus @iiNet Well no, some POIs have a higher capacity then others and it comes down to if they can actually support the speeds. If you're on a POI that is at almost capacity then the chances of getting higher speeds are limited, which is why people hit that 7pm slowdown.

    You just have to love @Optus. 2nd time in a few months they have cancelled our work email. Whole account system is attached to it. No warning. Just cancelled. Thousands of dollars at a stake. Service response, ‘nothing we can do’.

    @Optus I cancelled my Optus adsl connection at the end of January after significant problems and more than a week without service & now I’ve had my previous direct debit used to take funds out on 17 February. There is no end to the terrible service by optus.

    Ok I am furious. @Optus cuts our internet with no warning by "accident". They say they cant restore it! We have to go buy a usb internet to use while they're fixing their **** up. I am currently doing uni online and am in the middle of a prac! I cant afford to have no internet!

    @Telstra My house in franklin act I’ve had to get a prepaid Optus mobile because I have cancer and the reception isn’t great Any more incase I need help in the day while no ones home. When I moved here I had the best reception out of all my family

    Other telcos were able to break out in greenfield developments, but nobody was going back into established suburbs to put in a parallel fibre network to compete with the copper PSTN system. Even Foxtel's cable rollout stopped the instant that Optus announced they were giving up.

    @moogzy @Optus I'm in Gladesville on Optus cable and experiencing the same king of thing. Weird thing is that pings are good, but TCP connections are unreliable. They were sending a tech with a new modem tomorrow but I just got a cancel text referring to a network fault.
