I'd blame the government before pointing a finger at SBS.

    @Optus have “technical errors” if you are trying to get technical help with NBN. That’s what I was told when transferred to NBN tech help desk, after another ridiculous amount of phone time.

    Optus then decided after over 90 mins of explaining myself multiple times to different people on chat, I’d need to wait for a call. That call happened, it was from the wrong department. So they had to transfer me. After 2 hours I got some help. “So what can we do today?” 🤯

    @Dempsey57Jackie The fact is, it doesnt matter how many passwords, telephone numbers you change it will not stop ID theft. This is a major problem, its more than an inconvenience. I note it took Optus some six or seven hours to make a public statement. Not good enough.

    @FacebookNrl I feel bad for the hackers. Given how bad Optus stuffed up the EPL rights, I imagine all of the personal data is incorrect and linked with the wrong people. We need a national day of mourning for the hackers who wasted resources hacking a **** company.

    @nobby15 Well Optus let's see about indemnity for Identity Fraud. Note some data including passwords was not compromised so clearly it was targeted bad actor
