@SallyKFranco @Optus They don't tell you. You have to ask them. Some have had success using 24/7 app staff. I had to resort to a complaint.

Me: [absolutely nothing] A service I used 7 years ago: in the wake of the OPTUS DATA BREACH - we just want to let you know “we take security seriously”

@theage @TimBiggs This should never have happened. Expected coverup incoming. I will be removing all my optus accounts over the next few months.

@redruby17 @Optus I get about 3-4 scam calls a day on average and have done for ages. It means I never bother answering a number I don’t know. If they are real I figure they will leave a message/text.

@Zadimum63 @hughriminton If the @Optus store is open. Walked past one in Subiaco, WA yesterday - closed due to “staffing issues”. More probably unwilling to face hostile customers.

@Optus FYI, Medina- you and Kartick are going to be named in the complaint I'm filing. For appalling customer service and IGNORING your customers.

@joshgnosis I’m an Optus customer and still haven’t heard anything from them. I would have thought their first priority should be to contact their customers and let them know if their data has been compromised before embarking on a PR campaign. Completely unimpressed.
