@JaalaPulford Who cares ? What are you doing to help the victims of the Optus hack ? Victorians have not heard from Optus or VicRoads about licence replacements. We are sitting ducks for identity theft.

Optus is owned by Singtel and their major shareholder is the Singapore government. #optusbreach #Optus. Does Singtel keep Australian customer information? Yes or No, thanks.

@belinduhpyne @Optus I reckon that at least the 10200ish group should not be charged for a period of time, say 3 months. Problem is, how do you "fix" the unfixable? Data is now leaked. You can change phone, licence & passport #'s. But birthdates & address...

  • CarolynJanson 💧Dame Carolyn Janson (@CarolynJanson) reported

@KoparaFallsKid Ah. It reminds me of Optus, after my husband died; acct in his name and they wouldn't change it to mine without a death cert. So in the end I told them to send it to him in heaven. I got a bad debt notice. Laughed at them. Will never do Optus again.

  • SSSSteve12 Erazer (@SSSSteve12) reported

@KobieThatcher They are using the hack at Optus as an opportunity to digitize all identity information. It makes no sense, online details were stolen, so to fix it, we will store everything in one place.....that sounds safe?

  • ballp36 Peter Ball (@ballp36) reported

@CarolynJanson @KoparaFallsKid yes we left OPTUS they were smart arses, when I said cancel it they suddenly became all concerned

  • MsCannons alyssa (@MsCannons) reported

Ay, @Optus explain to me why I got an email telling me you can now confirm my licence was exposed when A) I never received an initial email informing my data was accessed; B) when I contacted you earlier I was told no details were accessed. 🙄#OptusDataBreach #raginglyincompetent

  • rebeccajpowell Rebecca Powell (@rebeccajpowell) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

It's taken 2 weeks for #Optus to inform me that my driver's licence data has been compromised. 2 weeks 🤬 Ridiculous that it should take so long & that I'm the one going to the hassle of addressing the issue. Of course they'll have no delay in sending out my bill 😒

  • Chrisquirk Chris Quirk (@Chrisquirk) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@saltyskin_ Yeh I got it. Haven’t been an Optus customer in about 10 years.
