@JelCastragigo @LesStonehouse I did that as well for Optus. Home phone and Optus tv plans. Also falsely advertised as wages. Lasted two weeks. Made 3 sales and never paid at all. Scam.

i dont want to pay optus until I can check the records, they have only offered to email me one bill. That is completely insane! I have been a loyal optus customer for nearly 20 years, I will be removing my account asap. Shame on you optus. #optusareshit

@ElsaJade3 @theage @henriettacook It is unconscionable for Optus to make a sale to an elderly gent seeking help with a Telstra service. Staff should be trained to identify signs of vulnerability (like his confusion on arrival). This is a social expectation in industries where customers become bound to contracts.

Dear @acccgovau, @Optus supermarket bought pre-paid sims come in a sleeve that mentions nothing about the sim only being 4G. It is not until you remove the sleeve & get to the inner packaging that you see it uses the 4g network. Is this deceptive as per the legislation?

@BoiPussoire I left optus because they treated me like **** when I went to process my name change with them, and I liked the lease plans they had, but they probably realised they were too good lol. 5G was a nice perk too, and I used my international roaming a lot

@Optus Can you guys bring back 2G, really was the best network for iot. 2G modems are like $20 and have decent range. 5G is not up to the job

@Optus disgraceful behavior by salesperson in Frankston saying they where gifting my 78yr old pensioner mum a bag full of ph accessories (she doesn’t need or know how to use) only to find out they are being billed to her over a 36 month contract. Optus ph &online support no help

@Optus there’s that standard line... of course you’ll be happy to credit for the downtime. you’re required to by law! i’ve been getting credited. it doesn’t change the fact that the service hasn’t worked since 23/3. doesn’t even drop back to 4g.
