@sanderling68 I think that one just went out everywhere. I got the same and I've never been with Medibank or Optus. They're just phishing.

@hughriminton @10NewsFirst I hear a lot of grandstanding from the various players but when it comes down to it, nothing is actually getting done. And nothing will be done. My only hope is customers will respond with their feet. Without a customer base, there is no Optus!

@Optus No you want to waste more of my time instead of simply honouring what was already agreed. You are a pathetic company with terrible service, now as requested, please get the case manager to call me.

I'm also not with Optus, so that hack didn't affect me either. I wonder, though, if it's just a matter of time before my current telco and health insurance providers, and maybe even GP's office, are attacked and have their customer data exfiltrated and ransomed. Hope not! 🤞

Gday @Optus. Your customer service is horse poo. I received a suspicious looking email asking me to confirm changes to contact details and your call centre asked me for my account number after I’d already entered it and then hung up on me.

Just sending more abusive messages to @optus since they refuse to help since they lost that ****** phone. Had to take a ****** as just thinking about them makes me want to take a knife to the store and stab the bastard that sold me that phone in the first place.

@BitcoinJiuJitsu @_k3tan Between Optus and Medibank I’m pretty sure people are more aware of not trusting data with third parties. Now we need a bank to delay or freeze withdrawals FTX/Lebanon style As long as things don’t feel broken (just like with FTX) people will continue to use their services
