A Wheelie Fungi M.Ci🚹♿ (@Antony_Clements) reported@MikeCarlton01 @Telstra That would be vodafone followed by optus and then telstra. Before anyone comes after me, vodafone went down for several months in 2010/2011, optus had a data breach in 2022 that affected nearly 10 million customers. Telstra just inconvenienced people.
-
John Harrison 🇦🇺 🦘 (@JH_Otway_Ranges) reported@FranMooMoo And everyone thought Optus was bad when it happened, this was a software glitch, how do we know it wasn't aa hacker?
-
Chuck Stone (@chuckastone) reported@QBCCIntegrity @Optus It speaks volumes about how bad Australia's situation is when it has to rely on an outfit like Optus to save lives.
-
Andrew (@Aussies_1st) reportedWhy is it the USA can communicate with a space ship circulating the moon but Australia has such a hard job communicating with a ******* train just around the corner.. Because of this useless waste of space Anita Wells…. WHY is Australia STILL relying on just a single network for the train networks and 000 and a host of so many essential infrastructure ?? WHY hasn’t our government, especially after the Optus outages just changed the laws to the filthy rich telecommunications companies that they have to combine both networks together for things of major importance to the running of the country ?? 000 and train networks. You want a communications licence… fix the bloody thing so at least BOTH Telstra and Optus are both responsible for the safety of Australia and every Australian.. @AngusTaylorMP @PaulineHansonOz

Anthony Smith (@Anthonydsmith86) reportedOptus stadium turf has been shockingly bad lately. Players slipping everywhere as that top layer is shifting too easily, reckon we’ll see an injury soon

-
Derrick W 💔3/15 (@Vox_Dog) reported@Kate3015 Aussies are being fleeced, these comms companies compared to everywhere else in the world take Aussies to the cleaners. For the entire network to fail would suggest a complete & utter rebuild of Telstra is required urgently, from the very top down. #Telstra #Auspol #Optus
-
Ash 🇦🇺 (@TheInspectorAsh) reported@heidimur This isn’t just about Telstra. We saw similar issues with Optus. If our emergency communications and critical infrastructure are meant to be resilient, why do single network outages continue to have such widespread impacts? It’s time to review whether our redundancy is truly independent, or whether we’re relying on backups that share the same points of failure.

▪️▫️DAVID▪️▫️ (@turtlemagpies) reported@Telstra What a disgrace that each Telstra customer has to individually apply for compensation for the outages last week. Really shows what you think of your customers. Just provide free data like Optus did you scabs. Pathetic 😡 #telstra #telstraoutage
