@JelCastragigo @LesStonehouse I did that as well for Optus. Home phone and Optus tv plans. Also falsely advertised as wages. Lasted two weeks. Made 3 sales and never paid at all. Scam.

@albericie @Optus Optus, Telstra, NBN all companies to big to give a hoot about individual cases. Years ago I had a similar issue and was sent from pillar to post and back again.

@albericie @Optus So frustrating. We cancelled our Optus service 18 months ago yet we can’t cancel the monthly email bill, which tells me I am $53 in credit. Rang again today and was promised by the lovely Filipina that my account was now sorted and the cheque is in the mail!

@albericie @Optus Telecommunications companies in Australia are dreadful. And from my experience, Optus is the worst of the big players. Get away from them as quickly as you can.

@albericie @Optus Emma I’m lodging a complaint with the ombudsman for an issue that dragged for 4 months. They are so big an organization that can’t work amongst each other to get things done

@baoyusi @albericie @Optus I wasn't receiving any bills, I called them many times and it was never resolved. Then they sent me a massive overdue bill. I spent many hours on the phone and couldn't get it fixed. Hung up on. Straight to the ombudsmen. And the result was free internet for the year.
