Optus Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Jason White (@JWhite90566) reported@mdtlion She sounds more like a Telstra public relations officer, than the Communications Minister. Maybe she’s grifting for a future job with them. I noticed the little dig she made at Optus by mentioning a previous issue they had had in the past, but totally relevant to today’s issues.
-
Grandy Promenade (@RCT_10) reportedWhy ******** am I not at optus
-
Casey McGregor (@CaseyMcGregorAu) reported@borisstephens Firstly, taxes do not fund government spending, critical misconception the establishment perpetuates on purpose to justify austerity. Secondly, you're right to say that just throwing money at problems does not automatically fix anything. You still need competent management and a plan. All nationalisation does at a baseline is remove the profit motive that leads to cutting corners on network maintenance to save money, which is what leads in part to outages like this. And I haven't just proposed renationalisation, I've also proposed using Optus' satellite expertise to create a publicly-owned, privacy-first satellite internet network to challenge Starlink.

saint_ted (@saint_ted3) reported@Woodygocats59 @TonyShepherd4 Once again I refer you back to the Optus outage where everybody including the government and Optus thought the 000 service was functioning but it was found to still be out of action several hours later. And the government minister was AWOL again. A couple of hours can save lives.

Krakow (@Krakow80492178) reported@AnikaWells Anika Wells has done it again. She let the aged care system down; now she’s let down her new Portfolio Communications. Optus first, now Telstra. She interrupted her holidays l wonder how much taxpayers paid for this holiday.
-
saint_ted (@saint_ted3) reported@Woodygocats59 @TonyShepherd4 Didn't happen with the Optus outage. 000 was unavailable for hours and nobody including Optus seemed to know it was still unavailable. Learn from pervious failures champ. FFS, what plane was the communications minister on this time?
