@JelCastragigo @LesStonehouse I did that as well for Optus. Home phone and Optus tv plans. Also falsely advertised as wages. Lasted two weeks. Made 3 sales and never paid at all. Scam.

@Optus I'm done. I've made a complaint and will now wait for contact in 48-72hrs to ask me to confirm all of my personal details again, work through the new "you were hacked, here's what to do" script and then tell me "in stock" means 1-2 weeks, 2 weeks after they first told me that.

@OMGTheMess I must be getting too old for all of this. Never known such intrusion and interference in our lives. Shame some of these companies can't get back to being customer service instututions. I spend way too much time doing everything myself. Now we have the Optus debacle. No care!

So, @ServiceNSW tells me that both the license number and card number from my drivers license are needed to verify my ID. I've almost never given both for ID purposes. Odd then also that @Optus only had one of them - it was apparently enough for them to verify people's IDs...

@Optus So to recap, they sent me an SMS on the day they fixed ONE of the issues, telling me it had been fixed 8 days ago (it hadn’t) and that the case is now closed because I didn’t respond in time. Remember however, the actual issue is about nunber sharing which… is still broken.
