  ******* OneNz are the most useless comms provider on planet earth they are worse than Optus in Australia and that takes some effort because last time I was with optus their tech support left me feeling (allegedly) homicidal .... so a great big fat **** YOU to @OneNZ or whatever shell company hoovers up money and gives sweet **** all in the way of service to the ever suffering rural NZ'er Where is my ******* @starlink ?

  @billdogan Hey Bill, it's not good to hear you're experiencing different internet speeds on your devices. When it comes to reception, Optus is constantly upgrading our network to provide better coverage. However, multiple factors can affect this, such as your hardware capabilities, software update, the building materials used in your home, and other signal blocking objects in your area. I have also checked your address from our end, and it looks like we haven't had any reported mobile network issues in this area.   @greg__briggs @disco___cat Yeah. Aldi are good. I switched from Optus and the coverage seems better and it's cheaper. The app and support leave a bit to be desired though. Major cities and highway stuff for coverage checks.

  @optus_help @Optus I’m trying to give you more of my money for a eSIM, however your app is horrific. My other service is a eSIM on my iPad so I can’t get a text. So I change to email, fine but then I can’t enter the code. Seriously?? Do you not want my money??

  @TheLizVariant In Australia my isp optus said that due to my phone being old I would have to upgrade my phone as it would be disconnected when the new system is in place and that the phone would not be able to communicate with emergency services. So basically we are screwed !

  @Optus Please fix your Pay By Phone service. Three failures so far today. Rang your Enquiries number and got shunted back to Pay By Phone.

  @chatzi41 @iSpeedtestOS That's the iOS 26.5 update adding end-to-end encrypted RCS (beta) support on Apple's side. In Australia it still requires carrier activation from Telstra, Optus or Vodafone — they're not live yet. Rollout still looking like mid-to-late 2026. Toggle should appear in Messages once your carrier enables it.

  @shadowfan198 Simply use VPN. Aus service providers have to keep logs of all your metadata, one day that is all going to leak (most likely Optus) and go on public record forever.
