@Hillysfarms @Telstra I reckon telstra coverage in metro areas is third after optus and Vodafone, its terrible here in Newcastle

  • nickintheworld Nick Williams (@nickintheworld) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@a_choros **** Telstra, marry Vodafone, kill Optus... Truth be told I’d prefer to kill Telstra while screaming **** you and have an ongoing FWB with Vodafone and just leave Optus alone

  • ajhill_alan Alan Hill (@ajhill_alan) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@perthovalman @kevinperry @TheWorldGame @SBS @ALeague @premierleague @Craig_Foster @LucyZelic A cash-strapped FTA network does its best but has no hope of competing with Foxtel (itself scaling back football coverage in the face of its own financial woes) and Optus. I'd blame the government before pointing a finger at SBS.

  • SophiePearse Sophie Pearse (@SophiePearse) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

I’ve phoned @Optus customer service 3 days in a row and you’ve YET to rectify this issue, despite advising you have. This is incredibly poor form, deplorable in fact 😡

  • ReetuMutti Reetu Mutti (@ReetuMutti) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

.@TPG_Telecom Trying to port my TPG no from TPG’s Optus to Vodaphone network. Spent countless hrs calling helpdesk every day, talked to supervisiors, waited days for engineers to investigate. Been waiting 20 DAYS, still not working. This is ridiculous. Fix this!!

  • tmacca_1996 Thomas McKenna (@tmacca_1996) reported from Newcastle, State of New South Wales

@Optus @7mate take your ads off appearing as every second one! I will never use your service due to this. Biggest pet peeve, waste of money on your marketing side #idiots #advertising

BROKEN NEWS:: John Barilaro to be appointed as OPTUS Head of Cyber Security.

  • WonderfulDay01 Aust SARS2: 52,430 cases (last week). 350 dead. (@WonderfulDay01) reported

2/2 You have his mobile number. Yet you failed to send out an update. I was shocked what data you keep on file for customers. Data that is required to set up an account BUT not required to maintain an account. This data should never have been kept on file. @Optus @Singtel

  • BRTN13 Brtn13 (@BRTN13) reported

@Optus Our identity has been stolen and due to Optus’s failure to advise its customers straight away we are at further risk of identify theft. I feel like I can’t trust Kelly’s poor statement and apology and that our financial details were not compromised as well. Trust has been broken!

  • bronze_flame Kat (@bronze_flame) reported

Still no email, no text message, no notification of any kind from @Optus. Millions are facing potential identity theft and you couldn’t be bothered to issue a simple email heads up. Pathetic.

  • AngelaKorras Angela Korras (@AngelaKorras) reported

@MsPraxis Yes it’s bad. I’m watching my email account like a Hawk. If I receive any fake Optus phishing emails I’ll know it’s been compromised and I’ll leave.

  • Trevor12371105 jimmmmyyyyyyyyy (@Trevor12371105) reported

@7NewsAustralia Still nothing from Optus direct to their customers except for a media release! Yes they still managed to send me my monthly bill!!! Very poor

  • trevorlong Trevor Long (@trevorlong) reported

@sophie_walsh9 @9NewsSyd I can't ask questions - NFI why - can you? Can you ask Has Optus directly contacted any of the customers affected by this breach? Customer Care chat agents are saying customers have been contacted, yet we’ve not found any - how many have been contacted?

  • mitchostheleo Mitchusmaximus (@mitchostheleo) reported

@Optus Rubbish.. I only heard about this by accident from a friend.. I don’t always check the news forensically in case optus puts out a press release. Really poor decision-making here..

  • virgotweet Stuart Tomlinson (@virgotweet) reported

I rang Optus technical support and I have been assigned a case manager , when I asked when he is going tok contact me was told anywhere in the next 24 hours. This means the NBN will not have been working for two days which I find not acceptable.

  • sophie_walsh9 Sophie Walsh (@sophie_walsh9) reported

Optus says worst case scenario up to 9.8 million records have been compromised in cyber attack @9NewsSyd
