@perthovalman @kevinperry @TheWorldGame @SBS @ALeague @premierleague @Craig_Foster @LucyZelic A cash-strapped FTA network does its best but has no hope of competing with Foxtel (itself scaling back football coverage in the face of its own financial woes) and Optus. I'd blame the government before pointing a finger at SBS.

@Optus @7mate take your ads off appearing as every second one! I will never use your service due to this. Biggest pet peeve, waste of money on your marketing side #idiots #advertising

.@TPG_Telecom Trying to port my TPG no from TPG’s Optus to Vodaphone network. Spent countless hrs calling helpdesk every day, talked to supervisiors, waited days for engineers to investigate. Been waiting 20 DAYS, still not working. This is ridiculous. Fix this!!

@a_choros **** Telstra, marry Vodafone, kill Optus... Truth be told I’d prefer to kill Telstra while screaming **** you and have an ongoing FWB with Vodafone and just leave Optus alone

I’ve phoned @Optus customer service 3 days in a row and you’ve YET to rectify this issue, despite advising you have. This is incredibly poor form, deplorable in fact 😡

@alex_1899_ @Optus I haven’t gotten a further email… yet. Waiting to be told my passport info was proper leaked and then I’ll be off to get a new one. Thank **** Optus are covering the cost of replacement passports. But still. Should never have happened.

@DeniseBeale Yep. We're all on our own. Current customer. One generic email received. Several unsuccessful attempts to speak to a human, or even god forbid, a chatbot. #optusfail #OptusHack Future ex Optus customer when my contract expires. RT @intrepid144

@ItsTheHermit tbf it's not every month but it happens often enough that it's pretty annoying. Telstra service is okay where I live but I also live right next to an optus tower so it's usually fast

@karenandrewsmp Well maybe if Optus actually had any appropriate security of its customer data… Wait wasn’t it your government that allowed Optus to weaken its data security? Hmmm.

@karenandrewsmp Reminding us to never let a Lib/Nats government into power ever again. You know, the ones who allowed Optus to get away with a lax privacy policy. The ones who love getting rid of red tape. The ones who let corporates do whatever they want & then bail em out.

It’s the “Dear Justin” to “Dear Customer” for me. This really looks like a suss email that is doing Optus zero favours. #OptusHack #OptusDataBreach #Optus

@JoshButler @arielbogle So what’s the story when the phone service is bought through a retailer, say Virgin Mobile but the underlying provider is Optus? Who is sitting on the data? And what about tourists buying a prepaid at an airport? Optus’ parent Singel totally MIA. #OptusHack
