    $5.5 million to OAIC to investigate the Optus hack is good but it should have been given 3 X that money to help it resolve its FOI review backlog. Every agency that poses a threat to government secrecy has been deliberately under-resourced.

    @Optus dear optus, I live in Pascoe Vale and for a number of days have not been able to send emails to gmail and Hotmail accounts. When I rang optus they said there was a problem in the area and they would keep me informed. However I can find no record of such an outage. Help!

    @Optus our mobile service in Gippsland is down. Cant contact support because its sending a 2 factor SMS to be able to… wtf do I do? Haha

    The hacking problems recently experienced by Medibank & Optus illustrate the need for an ID card. If everyone had one of these it would not be necessary for companies to insist on personal details. The ID number would be sufficient, because all details would be held in one place

    This is the first time since I have been using @Optus since 1995 I have a problem and just getting the run around and I’m bloody cranky, just want the problem fixed.
