@Optus the last thing you should be doing is sending out texts to cuctomers informing them their payments are late! Why on earth would any customer want to give their financial details to you especially after such abuse of customers personal information!

Checking @Optus customer data; hashed my contact details in one place out of many, so the hash isn't as secure as it could be. If they didn't salt the hash then it's not secure at all. No hash on most values too; data like photo ID number was in plaintext. Disgusting. #OptusHack

@Narty007 Particularly when Optus submitted to government that increased security requirements on customer security should not be implemented.

Hey @Optus, how long does it take your tech support team to fix my shocking nbn speed. Promised a min of 150mbps yet can't get beyond 10mbps. This has been going on for more than a month!

@Optus I’d be cutting down on your advertising till you have spoken a bit more to your customers and given a bit more information on what you have allowed to happen with their private information.

@RNBreakfast @karenandrewsmp Who is going to be held accountable at Optus?? What a bunch of amateurs! And all they offer is a “sorry guys. We feel really bad about it”. Completely unacceptable!

@Optus Someone needs to ring me to tell me why I shouldn’t take my business elsewhere not just push me away with sorry we can’t do nothing to help you even though we are responsible for all your information being hacked

@NewtonMark @Optus It is a nice change that those who make stupid decisions are amongst the people affected by the stupid decisions

@Asher_Wolf @pharnzwurth I'm more worried about the 100 points of ID. "Sorry officer, it wasn't me. Go ask Optus who did **** with my licence". We just live with ticking time that our 100 points might be used by someone in the future?
