At 20:07 received a bill from Optus for 22 cents. Worth a giggle - then saw due date 22 November. Too bizarre ...... and no, have not severed our relationship. Was a victim of their data **** up. One way traffic .... its way.

my internet provider... the optus breach..... we are an optus provider... we are going to send you a 6 paragraph setter saying random **** that doesnt matter and on the last line well tell you your data is actually safe.. OPEN WITH THAT **** NEXT TIME!

@jodiehastweeted Thanks for this info Jodie !! I’m scared too - we are not alone. I’m going to do this. I also contacted Optus and found out what ID I had given them and cancelled my Medicare. Doesn’t look like it’s that easy to cancel my drivers license.

@patrickkeneally What angers me is that I haven't been an Optus customer for 11 years, but apparently they still have my personal info. I already lost faith in them when they stuffed up world cup coverage, but at least it was nothing personal back then.

Yo @Optus since everyone else has my email address and phone number now (plus drivers license) it would be nice if you used it and didn’t expect me to go to your website for information. I shouldn’t hear from this **** in the news #OptusDataBreach
