    At 20:07 received a bill from Optus for 22 cents. Worth a giggle - then saw due date 22 November. Too bizarre ...... and no, have not severed our relationship. Was a victim of their data **** up. One way traffic .... its way.

    @Woodygocats59 @TonyShepherd4 Once again I refer you back to the Optus outage where everybody including the government and Optus thought the 000 service was functioning but it was found to still be out of action several hours later. And the government minister was AWOL again. A couple of hours can save lives.

    @WesleySouthcott @ScomoCchio No. Optus has had outages too. And their response was just as pathetic as Telstra’s. But the point remains, huge service providers that can cause disrupt/impact nationwide are not held to account in any meaningful or significant way.

    @BritishHodl Grok can an ISP block voice over IP? Yes, ISPs can block Voice over IP (VoIP) traffic at their network level, and many do so in practice. This is technically feasible using tools like port blocking, deep packet inspection (DPI), and other traffic management techniques. How ISPs Block VoIP ISPs control the core network infrastructure, so they can inspect and filter traffic before it reaches customers.     @thmsenglsh also their service is $70 a month for no good reason (they raised it because they added satellite sms) they profit consistently every year whereas optus basically makes a little more than enough to continue operating, the difference in revenue is crazy between the two

    @Adrian_Arciuli @FIFAWorldCup AFL stadiums are not built to support football, I’d take Optus, Adelaide Oval and the MCG off the list! Probably one of the reasons we have never won a World Cup

    @Kate3015 Kate i think the Labor communication minister Anika Wells should be the one getting the kick up the arse because she was in charge when optus had their outage and said she was going to fix it obviously she hasn't

    Just got a call from @Optus the bloke told me @NBN_Australia has suffered an outage. He couldnt say how long the outage will last
