    At 20:07 received a bill from Optus for 22 cents. Worth a giggle - then saw due date 22 November. Too bizarre ...... and no, have not severed our relationship. Was a victim of their data **** up. One way traffic .... its way.

    @decryption Tip: set yourself a calendar reminder for the Optus 365 day expiry date. If you have any data left, it rolls over if you renew before expiry. Optus won’t remind you. I’ve had this argument with them about their rubbish service for 1 year customers.

    @BeauGiles @jonoabroad @peterwells Most android phones actually have 2 SIM card slots. I prefer than than ducking around with eSIMs and being locked in to either Telstra, Optus or Vodafone. None of the cheap MVNOs like Kogan, Catch, Coles etc support it :(

    @jendudley @dailytelegraph yeah very true, lucky to have a strong 4G signal where I am. Now if Optus could just go ahead and extend their 5G coverage about another 150m, I'd be sound as a pound...

    @deeplongstop @Telstra @NRL Those companies have a guaranteed burst limit - and don't often come near it for data. Optus used to get spanked but the smaller ones do not get near oversubscribed. No problem with voice at all. Really shitty support though.

    @amaysimAU is the most rubbish service I’ve ever used!!!! Not sure if being bought out by @Optus will help.... definitely changing providers!! There’s nothin Amazing here !

    @peterwells @decryption @michaelmeloni how do Optus and Telstra deal with these 3rd parties in terms of priority of service? eg: if a cell is busy can they / do they throttle the 3rd parties?

    @jessikadouglas That’s a very valid reason to!! I don’t think I’ve had too many issues with Optus and have only really been a couple of those Telstra only areas but it shouldn’t be a huge issue for me so will probably just stay with Optus
