@agarner Corporations don’t give a **** about people only their profits. There should be a telecommunications overhaul. Optus should be doing more to support those of us affected.

@SenSHenderson @AlboMP Except it wasn’t a sophisticated attack. It seems that some idiot at Optus connected an API for a live database to a test server. It’s human and procedural error on a massive scale. Their entire exec, especially their CIO and CTO need to resign or be sacked. It’s negligence.

@Jolivins @websyd @ianbfarquhar Secondly, why wasn't data ranked?. PP & DL data should require a diff level of access. Optus & big companies cannot hide behind oh look there is a bad thief out there. Their process is a joke. No amount of PR/Spin can hide it.

@optus have just advised me that ALLLLLLL of my personal info required to establish a fake ID is in the hands of some criminals, but it's totes cool because they went to the media when it happened. Hey stupid can they be? Furious about this.
