@Optus - three weeks of complaints, 1-2 hours daily of talking to customer care and replacing the modem, still pathetic 5g broadband internet. 50mbps promise and you hardly get 1mbps #Optus #optus5g (1/2)

@trevorlong @Optus Another way would be to sign up to all of them (and cancel before cooking off) just to see who was best. That’s what I would have done but you’re the professional. It’s too easy to get the shits and whinge about things and the audiences these days are all willing to hear it.

@marie19705 Pt 2. I've bn awaiting result of Covid swab test. Optus phone log shows a call at 2.35pm yesty, with blocked symbol beside it. My $19 a month phone barely works. I'm sure I've bn put on some half-arsed service, so cheap it's useless -- cd even be dangerous.

@jendudley @Telstra I only work in the inner city but I've been using a newer telco on a $28 a month for 100GB deal (which would normally be $38) and they use the Optus network and they're fine. JB Hi-Fi uses Telstra but often have a cheaper plan plus sometimes give you a voucher?

Props to @optus, had a chat with them online yesterday about a cheaper 4G Home Broadband deal, new modem and SIM got delivered this morning before 9am. That's some quality service. Now, about that 5G coverage in Kensington...
