If you're on a POI that is at almost capacity then the chances of getting higher speeds are limited, which is why people hit that 7pm slowdown.

They do this by closing off certain roads, checking in with traffic management, the Real Time Traffic Operations Centre and the stadium events team to make sure all elements are in place and ready to play their part. If there are any issues that occur, they are first to reach out on communication channels to make sure it’s handled effectively and efficiently. Even down to the pointy end making sure no unauthorised vehicles are parked near areas that will affect the flow. #perthtraffic #optusstadium
