-
Jessicah Mullins (@JesMullins) reported from Canberra, ACTA week later and still no resolution. Just infuriating comments from people on the Optus messaging service who have clearly not read the case notes. @Optus you need to fix this…

-
Jamien Rees (@voroguecp) reported from Canberra, ACTYou just have to love @Optus. 2nd time in a few months they have cancelled our work email. Whole account system is attached to it. No warning. Just cancelled. Thousands of dollars at a stake. Service response, ‘nothing we can do’.
-
Simon Chan (@simoncha_n) reported from Canberra, ACT@timburrowes Most email services that Optus would be using or have the ability to use can easily handle that volume of emails. Amazon Web Services sells SES (Simple Email Service) that is very cheap and scales considerably.
-
Sandra O'Malley (@sandraom) reported from Canberra, ACT@Optus I cancelled my Optus adsl connection at the end of January after significant problems and more than a week without service & now I’ve had my previous direct debit used to take funds out on 17 February. There is no end to the terrible service by optus.
-
🥃 KB 🥃🎮🍜 (@KBGoodness) reported from Canberra, ACT@Haydztweets @Jacko_GFreak @Telstra @Optus @iiNet Well no, some POIs have a higher capacity then others and it comes down to if they can actually support the speeds. If you're on a POI that is at almost capacity then the chances of getting higher speeds are limited, which is why people hit that 7pm slowdown.
-
50ShadesofJay (@JayJayK75) reported from Canberra, ACT@allaningleton @Optus Surely someone working there would see how completely stupid that is and take it back, complete crooks mate, phone company’s these days are a nightmare to deal with
-

-
Gay Rainbow Anarchist 🔻🌈 🅰️ (@_manin_black_) reported from Canberra, ACT@joshgnosis They haven't told me ****. I'm an ex-Virgin customer & current Optus customer & I haven't received any email or text from Optus. Have I avoided having my data revealed or has Optus ****** up on this as well?
-
Prof Inger Mewburn (@thesiswhisperer) reported from Canberra, ACTSo, @Optus put up my phone bill because 'inflation', but has done nothing about my complaint about having no coverage many times over the past 4 months. I guess it's back to @Telstra for me, but I don't hold out much hope it will be better. Duopolies suck.
-
Col Copeland (@Colincopeland2) reported from Canberra, ACT@Optus is there any problems with the network in the ACT. Its very, very slow tonight
-

-
Sandra O'Malley (@sandraom) reported from Canberra, ACT@yodaberg @Optus I’ve had alot of problems with them lately & the only thing that worked was going into a store. Chat is probably the next most helpful & you can get a transcript of what they’ve promised to action.

RayCapogreco (@RayJCapo79) reportedI hope the telecommunications industry fines @Telstra for this outage the same way they did Optus!!!
-
Hipstergeddon (@hipstergeddon) reportedTelstra is Down. Had to switch to the backup Optus sim. Yuk.

Oz Trooper (@TrooperOz) reported@jbulldogs4 Not really as its still ongoing. They told people to use a optus or vodafone device thats not Telstra. Thats some reliable service isnt it. Shouldn’t be happening but probably a overseas disgruntled workers!.
-
Huey 💙💛🏆🦅 (@EagleHuey) reported@bdosi72 What he stood up for can’t be argued but I’m glad the WA government is removing that statue of him at Optus that should of never been put up in the first place. He never played for either club and I hope they replace it with the great Dennis Cometti
-
V (@VDejan0000) reported@NoticerNews Same reason for the recent Optus outage. This woke CEO & Labor government needs to swing.
-
Heather Bilson. (@BilsonhBilson) reported@Michael83424242 This started under the LNP are you senile, stupid or deliberately been disingenuous? Communications outages & breaches occurred under the tenure of Paul Fletcher, who served as Minister- 2019 to 2022. The 2022 Data Breach: In Sept, Optus suffered a massive cyber-attack!
-
Christopher Lange (@Christo12292090) reported@Ausbobsmit @BrParkes Vodafone and Optus have taken over the operation of the 000 system while Telstra is down. Get your facts straight loser.
-
Casey McGregor (@CaseyMcGregorAu) reportedSo we have another outage impacting 000 calls in Australia, this time by Telstra. This has already happened with Optus twice if I recall. Enough is enough. Renationalise Telstra and Optus, and give them all the funding needed to maintain, develop and expand our telecommunications infrastructure across Australia in the interests of the people rather than private and foreign shareholders. #auspol
-
René A (@Rene_AAG) reported@FranMooMoo Starlink and Optus have entered a partnership"Direct to Cell" technology to Australia. Rather than Starlink launching its own separate mobile carrier service to compete with Optus, the service is designed to be integrated into existing Optus plans
-
Raymond McKeown (@RaymondKeown3) reported@TimjboAU I will be more than interested if this has been issues related to routers in call centres, and what was the country of origin, I did recommend long ago to Optus the reasoning for not using a certain China Telco provider. I wonder if history has repeated?
