I just switched from @Optus to @TPG_Telecom 1 week ago. I ordered my NBN and the modem has arrived, but no one came to instal it after few days. The bloody customer service is terrible, worst than @Optus!! I had to be in chatRoom in line, ticket number 600 and after 9 hours...

@Optus Thank you. It’s a pity your chat help couldn’t check this. Or at least advise me to look at it. I was asked to reset my phone, remove my SIM card, change various settings. Each of these solutions were suggested multiple times despite advising none of them corrected the issue.

@GaryNunn1 Aldi mobile uses the Telstra network without the Telstra price... but not sure if it supports things like multi devices or Apple Watch - I put my husband on $35 Optus plan (plus $15 to link iPad and the watch was free for the first year) with 30gb

@VicBStard @NBN_Australia Makes sense. If @Optus had of kept the maintence of the cable up to standard before selling to the NBN then it wouldn't have been an issue.That being said I don't get why the NBN didn't just fix the issues.

@BJM1760 @AFL It's the halogen lights specifically that are the problem. They need at least 15 min to cool down before they're turned back on. If this was an LED lit ground like Optus or the MCG the delay would only be a few minutes.

@Optus surely Optus has the worst customer service ever! Nearly an hour so far and got nothing to show yet, been asked twice to fill in the same form. I’m at the point where I am now looking for a different carrier who actually cares about customer follow up

@Telstra I haven't spoken to the technical support team. The issue is with the service. Since the upgrades service has gone back to pre dial up, it's horrendous all around the north east of Victoria. @Optus customers have zero issues, only your customers are having issues

Australia has some of the worst internet speeds in the world & A LOT of horrible internet service providers to boot! @Optus & @Telstra top the list & have a stranglehold on telecommunications here in general. @NBN_Australia is maintained by Telstra & both own all the cell towers!
