    @Optus I took out a month to month nbn service including a mighty fetch box with multi room mini box and the ultimate channel pack for $104 per month 8 weeks ago. Since then I have had numerous problems getting this service up and running. I have called your technical team many times.

    @Optus congratulations, I thought @Telstra was bad at customer service, but your sales team takes the cake. One week on and I still can’t get 2 phones and 2 ported numbers without every step being screwed up

    @Optus I called again because now the mini box isn’t working at all and the mighty box still has no ultimate channel pack. This is what we’re left with. I’m tired of waiting on the phone and I don’t intend to call back again unless it’s to cancel my subscription.

    @Optus I called back again and had to wait over an hour while the guy was sorting the problem and he said the same, unplug, wait etc. we ended up re buying one movie and tv series we were watching again because the guy said he had credited our account which didn’t happen either.

    @Retrogina I use OVO for my internet and it’s great. $65 a month for 100GB. They use Optus. Can cancel it at any time... which I will do when NBN becomes available in May 😊

    @Optus I have spoken to your technical team over this period many times and nobody can fix the problems. First of all the multi room wasn’t activated. That problem got resolved but then I noticed the ultimate channel pack wasn’t installed although it was working on my mighty box.

    @OptusSport @Optus reported twice about being unable to login to sports app and both times was assured should be resolved in 15 mins to 4 hours. Nothing yet, still unable to login to my account and missed all the games last night

    @miinaus Ohhhhh this makes sense now. They offered to waive a lot of fees to sign me up to a plan with Optus. I didn’t realise they were shutting down Virgin though

    @Optus I’m currently visiting my in laws and my wife called to complain cause the internet is very slow. Had the service for a month and made multiple complaints. By the far the worst customer service experience and decided to change services

    @heardboutpluto @Anthony_Klan You can get free credit monitoring via creditsavvy. I have done this as recommended by Scott Pape the Barefoot investor. We have to protect ourselves cos @Optus is a giant fail for customers.

    @Optus quick question. Got an email to say no data was taken in hack. On Monday, had a letter in my mailbox for somebody else saying that their data was stolen (never seen the name before & I get lots of old tenants mail). IS my data okay, or did names get mixed up? Not confident

    Fun times with Optus now with anyone on that network not able to text or call me. Not that I talk or text much. But STILL. I’m not even with them but when someone tries to call they get that “Optus advises…” message and I’m like SHAME people must think I’m with them.

    So. I signed up with TPG for interweb and phone. Saving me $55 a month. They don't do b-pay, so I've set up an account online that I can deposit into and they can draw from when they need to. Sorry not sorry optus, but after 20+ years a customer, I can give you no more.
