@Optus I called again because now the mini box isn’t working at all and the mighty box still has no ultimate channel pack. This is what we’re left with. I’m tired of waiting on the phone and I don’t intend to call back again unless it’s to cancel my subscription.
-
Glen Foreman (@glen_foreman) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
How good is it when @Optus' ridiculously out-of-date user area fails to recognise an updated direct debit, so they charge you a $30 overdue fee... despite them already having the correct payment details. Pathetic. Horrible customer experience.
-
Carol (@WilliamsCaw) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@TheWorldGame @LucyZelic Watching the first EPL game on Optus in Perth WA & the coverage is disgraceful! Give it a couple of weeks & Optus will be begging SBS to cover their arse & show the games as their network cannot cope! Pathetic Optus👺!!
-
katie (@katie62750987) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia
@Optus You should no that during this time many of your staff have promised to call me back and this hasn’t happened either. I think this is the worse service I’ve ever received!

@rhysam @THEMONTHLY Probably wouldn't have made any difference to the Optus hack. They're unlikely to have tested anything relating to mindbogglingly stupid mistakes.
-

@BeachGirlJan I've never had one problem with Optus either.
-
Subban (@bensubban) reported
“If you think the Optus hack is bad, could you imagine a hack on one of the real estate tenancy application platforms? Tenancy application platforms ask for far more personal information. Any way forward here ??”

Miranda - FreedomBefore50 (@FreedomBefore50) reported
As a former @Optus customer, some of my details were stolen by hackers. @abcnews advised to sign up for a free credit check report. 0 of the 3 recommended companies list my mortgage in the report. My MORTGAGE! That I've had for 9 years, and that is still active...

Optus admit they need to communicate better with there customers after the breach of customer data. They did this by running a print media one page spread 🤪 Seems more like PR then actual actions
-
Luke p (@lukepar21) reported
I find it poor how @Optus is wasting money blasting apologies on electric billboards rather than using the money and resources to upgrade their systems security like literally walk past 7 sign's in one street with the same apology message I'malready thinking of changing provider
-
sortius (@sortius) reported
Why did the hack happen? Poor corporate governance. What enabled it to happen? Data retention legislation. Who's responsible? Optus and everyone who voted for data retention legislation #insiders

Anna Smith (@annaRoseShadow) reported
@FaustFury Over here Optus (A telecommunications company) left a whole lot of Customer Data(Including deadnames of Trans customers) wide open for hackers to take and they did. I just moved away from them.
