@Optus @colehaddon @colehaddon get used to it in 3 months I have had 3 outages for around 5-10 days each… I’m not sure what today’s outage is for me but they send a message saying “great news we are updating mobile towers for better service” it’s time to go to Telstra !

Is Telstra mucking about with its mobile service to the regions by changing the signal in some places from 3 to 4G...or dropping the range so the signal is too weak to reach the obscure customers..Like they can't be bothered and want them to drop out and go to Optus ore summat?

Turns out cancelling your internet with @Optus is one of the nine circles of hell! 4hrs and I STILL don't know 1) what I still owe, and 2) whether if I pay that I can cancel my account...

If anyone is reading this in the future, after much back and forth optus said that they can't fix the problem, aren't going to change their filtering algorithm and to use a different email provider.
