    So the answer to the @Optus breach by @VicRoads is to issue everyone a second card, effectively 2 CARD # FACTOR AUTHORISATION which will need to later be quoted to companies needing license info. Looking forward to the day I have a full deck of License cards. #OptusDataBreach

    My advice to any Optus customer is change your provider today, change all your credit cards with new cards🤔 and as inconvenient as it may be, change your mobile number🙄 As for passports etc get advice from government agencies 😯😮 It's a major breach & don't waste time🙄🥴🥴

    @sassycarrie You’re paying for a service that isn’t being delivered. It’s as simple as that - the detail doesn’t matter. A Optus crédit doesn’t cut it, and you are entitled to a refund for you’re entire contract if you go hrd enough with them. Don’t take no for an answer.

    @sassycarrie @JaneoOakley @Optus Ughhh They should still be able to cancel it at their end But the card’s cancelled right?? I’d be completely cancelling and getting an entire new number That’s what we had to do when our credit card info was stolen and used to buy $30000 worth of sewing machines in the UK 😳

    @redruby17 @erstkate @kcarruthers I'll also ask for new Medicare card & number if they can. Given the numbers of folk affected by this data steal, the Govt depts should help & Optus should pay for all the inconvenience, stress caused & loss of faith in organisations.

    @10NewsFirstAdl Problem, reaction, solution. Expect new legislation designed to "solve" the problem and take away more freedom. Real solution, class action against Optus for damages, due to security ineptitude. Sue banks and government for making us use insecure devices.

    @ShaunFerrisOz @Optus I suspected @Optus contact centre would be doing this so haven’t bothered with them. It’s unbelievably appalling that they’re being deliberately generic and obtuse. This beggars belief. Heads should roll for this shocking level of support alone. Rosmarin failing at every turn.

    @rpcounat @SenSHenderson @AlboMP Optus is totally incompetent, if you have any problem, you can speak to a machine that does not always understand so the game of reframing your issue begins. This is the absolute truth the conversation with a machine can take hours like 5-8 … awful
