    @Optus How about warning network when this is happening, it’s called customer service @VodafoneAU and @Telstra are all over me to switch. Maybe a credit for customers for lack of contract performance? Or do we switch?

    @sativa_bell If you are with Optus, Amaysim uses that network and much cheaper. At present 5g still rolling out so unless you need super fast, would not worry about it.

    @0ptus my optus app is a shame!!!! Specially for customer trying to activate the sim/ esim. What a use less customer journey where we are just being bumped from one operator to another, messaging app to phone to wait to someone saying need to transfer to another department.

    @TPG_Telecom Pretty much reliable on internet! Are you sure you've not been hacked?? No response from your website/C.service! Last week was Optus, this week TPG! It's like you are restricted going out and using internet! Lol I can't exhaust my data! 😢

    @Optus @nbn down in Turramurra. 4G working. Been out for over 1 hour. No message from @optus to customers. Work from here with international clients and rely on consistent internet access. Almost like a third world country. We have to do better. Imagine the productivity losses!

    Update @Optus customer service said to wait until tomorrow when they’ll get back to us. Ref: 24369613. They’ve now cancelled the service and connecting a new service and this may take ‘some time’. No specific timeframe.

    @SteveMolk Casting devices struggle and apps for TV’s have been difficult. But my user experience has been okay. Fans seem to forget the issues that plagued Optus sport during the World Cup. Now THAT was disastrous. But now winning awards for streaming app and retaining the EPL rights

    @RowdyAndTed Oh I'm glad it worked for you! I'm a former customer so I can't login to my account to find what was compromised unfortunately. Medicare support are really good imo. Yeah I don't see any need for the passport might as well save yourself the hassle. Optus should tell us this

    @MichaelWestBiz It was always going to happen!!! I see the main issue here, apart from the actual cyber fraud itself, is the fact that Optus held on to all this personal information, including information pertaining to people who have left Optus, and NOBODY seeing this as a potential threat!!!!

    @CarolineQuasar The data is likely stored off shore as well ... Optus is HQd in Singapore. I refuse to let clubs scan my licence. I sign in manually. There is absolutely no need for them to capture a full dl. Sight the licence to view the address - nothing more.

    Optus won't cover the tablet repair, can send it off for repair but can't tell me how much I'll be charged. Only other place has quoted $329 to fix it. Guess I'm living with a broken tablet screen because no ******* hope in hell I can pay even half that.

    @australian Family member was informed his data had been stolen even though he changed phone providers some months beforehand and no longer used #Optus. Can a corporate like this legally hold on to personal information on someone who is not a subscriber to their service? Doubt it.
