@Optus There’s been ongoing issues with the @Optus tower here in Koroit, Victoria for the past few weeks. Maybe someone could look at putting up a new tower?

@Optus Is actually the web page design that’s the issue- it references something that doesn’t exist on that page. I’ll try your advice. Maybe someone can have a look at the page to ensure it’s helpful… 🤔

@Telstra Not much you can do, your entire ‘customer service’ team appear incapable of actually resolving anything and just stall, transfer to another department or hang-up. I’ll raise the issue through formal channels and see what @Optus and @iiNet can provide.

Wow @optus have really outdone themselves with their technical support. 3 HOURS on their live tech support chat because of no internet and we get the question “when you connected was there internet?” Passing us onto a 4 technician now. At least they are using our actual name now!

@Optus The end result. 1hr 10min wait for a 15 min consult. Lady was 10/10, and could see she was stressed with keeping all customers "happy". Staff good, corporate system poor.

Surely a way to help manage robot calls (spam) is for @Telstra and @Optus etc to remove the "hidden number" feature so we can at least block the numbers on our phones? Not the silver bullet, but a start. Yup some people lose their hidden number but so be it.

OMG - dealing with Optus is an absolute nightmare! My internet address is so vital to me, but I think that I have to free myself from this rabble. Anyone recommend a great internet service provider?

@Optus I don't have an issue with the staff, you can see they are busy. The system is what needs looking at. And with all the IT in place I am totally surprised nothing is in place. Besides, its easier to talk to the friendly staff about all the options than by phlne or internet.

Now, @Optus, i can't even find a PHONE NUMBER to call to connect me to someone to sort this out. "message us in your app" - try to do so, doesn't work. Error messages. Sort your sh*t out @Optus. Have been a long term customer and considering pulling my custom out for good.
