@toninicho I am now, seriously, thinking of changing my carrier after years of being with Optus Problem is Telstra cost me a first full money last time I was with them and I dropped Vodaphone over their poor customer service.

@redruby17 @Optus I tried signing in this am to msg and was about to put in the security code and before done, it opened up my account. WTF? So much for security!

@abcnews that story about the Optus hack with the dodgy situational acting was ******* terrible. Please.. Good for a laugh but now I have to wash my eyeballs.

  • amyhooke Amy Hooke (@amyhooke) reported

If I were an Optus customer… Before accepting any new issues ID I would be demanding some evidence that the ID number was in fact obtained in the breach. With all the new ID, digital data and privacy law amendments recently this seems highly suspicious. #OptusDataBreach

@jacksonto888 @noelsie_nme @SBSNews Just finished setting up the Equifax subscription with the Optus person on the phone. Thanks so much for the tips. I didn't think about going to Service NSW — did you go to a branch in person or call up?

  • stoicsnake Stoic Snake (@stoicsnake) reported

Let’s not forget telecom companies do not NEED customer ID provided their bill gets paid. I promise phones really will function just fine without knowing customer passport numbers. No, the the only reason Optus record that info is so police can spy on Australians #OptusDataBreach

  • sunsetriver88 Jax (@sunsetriver88) reported

@tobycmurray @Jeremy_Kirk Side note: I saw a Trevor Long article indicating when contacting a sample of the 10,000, never mind that none had been warned they were on the hot list, some had not even received the generic email from Optus. Anyone have any further info on that? Wonder how long we must wait...

  • JJFyzz Crackers 🏳️‍🌈 (@JJFyzz) reported

Yes @Optus I’m a customer that is yet to receive any comms from you at all about the data breach. I have your app and Twitter and nothing. It’s not that your comms is poor, to me it’s non-existent.

  • beepsandalarms BeepsandAlarms Nurse thug (@beepsandalarms) reported

Hey Optus, why were you holding my details when I have not been your customer since late 2019? I am one that's affected by the breach. Furious. #OptusHack #optusbreach

  • aussiemum30 Kylie W 🇦🇺 (@aussiemum30) reported

@optus I'm not able to get a verification code via sms or email so I'm not able to login to chat to say that I informed optus multiple times that my remaining bill will be paid this Wednesday 5/10 and to not restrict my account further or optus leaves me no way to pay my bill.

@1116sen Considering how **** the food was at Optus stadium this year, that could be a good move. ****, pre cooked, served cold, and packaged meals
