Now that Optus have switched off the 2100MHZ 3G band, thanks for telling us Optus <not> my 14 year old Nokia E90 communicator no longer works, 14 years of good service, they don’t make them like that anymore.

It's a clear cut False Flag to usher in new surveillance laws and digital identity, by creating hysteria and subsequent public support for the new laws. @SenPaterson Pipe down you dill. I'm a victim of the Optus breach and I'm far more satisfied with how the Australian Government is handling this than with nearly any issue that should have been handled by you lot while in power. You've got no credibility on security, transparency or humanity.

@MFWitches @Optus I certainly was. Unfortunately for me I was a customer some years ago when I first arrived in Australia and I didn't know better. Of course they've kept my data, so that's out in the open too.

@AmyRemeikis I got mine last night. I cancelled Optus broadband 7 years ago, but had kept the mobile until earlier this year when they simultaneously upped their price + lowered their service. As a former customer you have to phone them for details – but that’s next to impossible

@Optus @RunnerSA18 Hacked. Receiving calls from numbers whom state they didnt call. I went to optus to close account only to be told NO, wtf Optus. I want my details deleted! No longer a customer, u have no right to keep all my previous addresses, emails. I saw the screen, suing optus to force you!

@YallopDiana @Optus UCCO! I remember that! I actually ended up in the uniting care network myself a few years plats ASU, as CEO of Hotham MissionAsylum Seeker Project, which then was merged with (then) Lentara and subsequently into the bigger Vic uniting care merger.
