@Anthony_Klan "CIP discovered Optus was running a “Not Secure” site in February last year..” isnt this when the Regulator steps in to prevent harm? WTF is going on? Apart from making the class action easier? Havent the media gone silent.

@MrKRudd @gdgoz And for those areas with HFC it was awful with Optus threatening us that we would be cut off if we didn’t sign up with NBN. Then the Optus cable didn’t work and ended up using the Foxtel cable. What a mess for very little gain. Other countries much faster

The last official statement I got from @optus was they can’t delete ex-customer data for legal reasons. They didn’t however know what those reasons were or how they applied. Frustrating waste of the ombudsman’s time. Why don’t we just have a simple option to do this?

@redruby17 @VodafoneAU @Optus Oh and make sure you don’t cancel your Optus plan. Porting your number (when you sign up to another provider and ask them to bring your previous number) will cancel it for you and ensure you keep your mobile number. Signed, someone who worked in telco for too long

So I end up calling through Sales, who transfer me to someone who asks for my case ID, who then hangs up on me. I get it. Quick calls make good stats. But c'monnnnnnn. My complaint is about Optus not letting me pay out my handset upon leaving. Or is the handset now free? :D

hey @newscomauHQ saw your article on @Optus about their incompetency and the hecking! They told me I wasn’t hacked and then a month later told me I was! Being trying to find a resolution and they are useless. Reach out if you want the story!

@PRGuy17 We’ve seen time and time again the damage done by privatisation - just take the recent privacy breaches from Optus and Telstra as an example. So it’s most definitely a yes from me!
