Hey @Optus next time I'm late on paying my bill, just hang tight, it'll be on it's way. Let's negotiate if you want my business moving forward. The hack is unfortunate, I get that. You control your communication with customers which is subpar based on information stolen.

Like shonky gyms they’re tricking people into paying for as long as poss

@cameronwilson Interesting. When this happens overseas, the company has offered free identity protection services. Apparently, Optus aren't providing this and the extent of their support is only to let you know you're on your own for their mistake.

@StevenGeorgant1 @AlanBixter Maybe partner companies that use the Optus network. My phone provider uses this network, but I never had to provide passport or driving licence details for that, so hopefully not compromised.

sold, traded or otherwise secretly used? PS: this is a pathetic ABC take. The main issue is Optus' negligent security, not "cyber attacks". Second, Optus should be asked what are YOU doing to fix this debacle of your own making, and how are YOU going to compensate us

@Optus - letter; - "Dear Customer," You have my details, use my name? - "If you believe your account has been compromised, you can contact us via My Optus app" You should be advising me if my details have been compromised, I shouldn't have to investigate. #OptusDataBreach #Optus
