@Optus Aron, this was clearly a significant outage and myself and many other customers it seems were unable to get any information from Optus through this issue. My internet now works after a reboot this morning of the modem. Why were there no communications?

@Optus Considering the events happening in eastern NSW, that's understandable. What I'm not really happy about is the fact that there has been no communication on actual or potential disruption to service.

@bdobson99 @Optus Wish you luck. We had a horrible experience with @optus last year with lying customer service people among other serious issues which arose during a family bereavement. We will never ever choose Optus again. Absolute grubs.
