@SenPaterson @Birmo Why wasn't the Telecommunications Act changed over the last decade to remove the need for OPTUS to keep all that information for people who no longer had accounts with them. Snivelling ****.

@AngelComrade Expect more scam calls pretending to be from Optus. Their script now has more credibility with claiming hackers have hacked the network. People can easily be fooled now. Hang up and call Optus directly.

@mjrowland68 @BreakfastNews No, none initiated by Optus. I have called their support line and spoke with lower management. Learnt some interesting details of Optus' response which don't appear to be public record.
