    Like this isn't a gloat it was more every trans person I know has told me what a ***** and how hard updating PayPal is. And I was like dreading it. Went to do it and yep done no issues. Was actually the easiest & fastest. OPTUS on the other hand 🤬

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 I made a complaint at least a month ago that my service was accidentally transferred to another customers name, and have heard nothing back, so I won't hold my breath here. If only it wasn't so expensive to cancel.

    @Optus @RunnerSA18 this is beyond unacceptable, the CEO & CTO need to resign immediately. i haven't been a customer for years, why do you still have all my personal data? we all know if someone gets screwed cause of this optus won't do a damn thing to help them.

    @samr6003 @Optus Oh that sucks, so you have to wait until you’ve been screwed over instead of preventative measures to avoid harm. Good functioning system we have!

    Checking @Optus customer data; hashed my contact details in one place out of many, so the hash isn't as secure as it could be. If they didn't salt the hash then it's not secure at all. No hash on most values too; data like photo ID number was in plaintext. Disgusting. #OptusHack

    @mick_minion Hi Mick, ID Support NSW is working with Optus to support customers with NSW government-issued credentials, if they have been impacted. Affected customers can contact the ID Support NSW team on 1800 001 040 from Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm).

    I had problems with my mobile data & contacted Optus several times by phone, through Twitter & the Optus app between 14 - 21 September. At each point I was required to execute a 2 factor authentication plus another step before they could help me.

    @ZhaoWuMing14 @Optus Yep. VicRoads don’t give a crap. Say on their website not to call and have a link that basically tells you they won’t change your number. I’m going to my local branch and cancelling my license. I’ll drive without one, rather get caught driving unlicensed than have identity stolen

    telstra make it very hard to order a thing that you want on their website. seems like the worst time for this to happen with millions of prospective new clients jumping ship from optus
