@hughriminton sure cancel Optus and go back to no services at all. For years Telstra told me they cover 96% of the population yet I had to drive 15 minutes at 100kph to make phone calls or work the internet. In 12 yrs nothing has improved with the competition.

@dotzbornak1979 @slamup Do it!! After 5 years with Optus I swapped to Aldi, and I’m now saving a ton.. caught up in the hack scandal sadly but at least Aldi are cheaper and better network since it’s Telstra.

@mjgal I have enquired about my licence and told by service nsw they are awaiting more info from optus. Almost seems pointless changing details - god only knows how many false accounts have been set up in my name by now!

@Brodhe It’s been on my bank accounts for a couple of days. I also found the Optus email in my junk mail box. And now have implemented the Equifax solution after challenging Optus for not doing anything to protect customers.

Optus releasing to the media that all data was encrypted is the biggest load of crap. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to download the data and see all personal details in clear text.
