@Dempsey57Jackie The fact is, it doesnt matter how many passwords, telephone numbers you change it will not stop ID theft. This is a major problem, its more than an inconvenience. I note it took Optus some six or seven hours to make a public statement. Not good enough.

@nobby15 Well Optus let's see about indemnity for Identity Fraud. Note some data including passwords was not compromised so clearly it was targeted bad actor

My goodness @Optus ... Your call centre does not know a thing about this data breach. I have one service with you and the first I heard was on the news. So far, I've received nothing. No SMS, no email.

Last week I was going to switch from Optus as my mobile phone provider because of their horrible services, but then I realised that I switched from Vodafone to Optus for the same reason, and from Telstra to Vodafone before that. I love it when I have so many options for garbage
