@domknight @Optus A mobile phone company should have no need to know who the customer is.

  • hutcho66 James Hutcheon (@hutcho66) reported

@johnb78 @domknight @Optus Or even design a system where the government does the identity check through an online service and issues an "telco ID" number for the telcos to store instead.

  • Anne2161476456 Anne21 (@Anne2161476456) reported

@9NewsSyd Optus needs to go bankrupt and get out of telco. And leave AU shores for good. AU does never want to deal with Optus again

@PeterHooley12 @Optus @OptusSport How’s on top of that my internet has been in and out for 6 week. No change to my bill or anything other then a “sorry” for the outage.

@Tan3User @berniepeoples @abcnews We all know that the LNP would give the incompetent OPTUS billions of taxpayer funds to fix their big mistake. The LNP are pathetic. OPTUS needs to recompence their customers .

  • fanaticeel ScubaSteve (@fanaticeel) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@peter__kay It's truly appalling. And due to present laws passed by the previous govt Optus won't be fined! However that doesn't help what happened. I haven't been with optus since 96.. hmm I should be ok

  • MarkAnt90398186 Mark Anthony (@MarkAnt90398186) reported

@dnforca I also got the same one. Problem is, I’m not even with Optus

  • BelindaJoy79 Bea, maker of ruckus 🏳️‍🌈✝️ (@BelindaJoy79) reported

Hey @Optus I have an idea. How about you make the next issue of our bills = $0. That will help make up for the cost of us needing to replace everything!

  • corrie_eats Corrie (@corrie_eats) reported

@TIFFINbitesized Same. But we signed up as Optus customers in probably 2010, a long time ago. Have changed both drivers license and passport in the meantime. I feel I am not as concerned. I usually show only drivers license and never passport for POI anyway.

  • AvisM Avis Williamson (@AvisM) reported

@domknight @peggymel2001 @Optus Like most businesses, Optus have no idea what records management is actually about. I have never met a business manager in whole my working life who understands records management.
