One reason I switch to Optus from Vodafone was because Vodafone reception in my work toilets are shit. Also 80gb for $50 is not bad, way better than $70 35gb.

  • blonde_louise Lou (@blonde_louise) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

WTF @Optus trying to report dangerous Optus wire dangling outside my house, dialled 1800440924 and clicked the option for external wires down, waited half hour and the guy said this is Fetch..he was clueless, transfers me to a new line, recording said I must wait 30 mins, yikes

  • HMMurti Helen Murti (@HMMurti) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

If I walk into your store and ask for something simple, and you stop listening to what I'm saying, because your attention is focused on the next customer, I'm gonna take my money & walk out. @Optus, if you're interested, your sales staff suck.

  • Mummymegan Megan Barnes (@Mummymegan) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@SContominas @Optus Finally got onto someone after 23 minutes - they transferred me and they hang up @Optus #fail

  • janih_BIGB_fan Harshil Jani (@janih_BIGB_fan) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus very upset , 1st - on 27th my number was ported without my knowledge 2nd- after reporting while I was on roaming overseas my number ported again ( what a joke) 3rd -Optus sent me bill for breaking contract and send me $1749 bill. No Proactive action & worst security SHAME

  • msmansk Ms Mansk (@msmansk) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

    @WenleiMa Optus never disappoints

  • nsbeverage Michael Cartwright (@nsbeverage) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus Many time @optus but nothing ever gets fixed. Perhaps stop over subscribing your cable pools and it wouldn’t be a problem.

  • janih_BIGB_fan Harshil Jani (@janih_BIGB_fan) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@opts NO URGENCY- it’s been nearly 5 days and there is absolute no urgency from Optus to report my service- poor security- poor process- poor serenade worst escalation

  • michae1green Mike Green (@michae1green) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@optus something has changed in your coverage in Macquarie Park. Terrible coverage for all Optus users at 160 herring rd

  • elhoelho elhoelho (@elhoelho) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@BrigidWD I'm with OPTUS. 18 years. Never a problem. I flicked TELSTRA after 2 years of poor service.

  • MarkPotten Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra In 2-5 days I will be an Optus customer with all my internet home phone mobile *2 and iPad

  • ColourpurpleGal CPG (@ColourpurpleGal) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So Twitter @Optus is just as shit as all their other mediums at customer service. Telcos should call it what it is, NON-service.

  • GeorgeBakhos1 @Georgebakhos1 (@GeorgeBakhos1) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I hate @Optus with a passion, I can’t wait till my contract finishes . Never again will I use them . 3 days into my month , supposedly used 7 GB out my 14GB . How is this is possible if I’m always using WIFI .always stuff me around with this . Dodgiest company I’ve dealt with

  • Pfupajena Tanya (@Pfupajena) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus what the hell is wrong with you this is a ****** joke. I swear you better get your shit right. Just to get my wifi relocated I have to speak to 5 different people. This is bullshit

  • jwdew jan willem (@jwdew) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus Again no service today. This is really getting annoying and not acceptable: it’s raining and my two kids want to watch their fav series and I gotta do some work.

  • MarkPotten Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So in another post @telstra have basically admited that they don’t want my business. Or care about customer service. It’s so nice to be a customer these days. @Optus #customerservicefail

  • janih_BIGB_fan Harshil Jani (@janih_BIGB_fan) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus NO URGENCY- it’s been nearly 5 days and there is absolute no urgency from Optus to report my service- poor security- poor process- poor service, fake promises and worst escalation

  • MarkPotten Mark Potten (@MarkPotten) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Too late I’m afraid given this issue has been on going since January 31st I should have been a high priority. The actions go to show how @telstra no longer value their customers. @optus

  • stop4nowt Peter Sinclair (@stop4nowt) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus Using this timed out and failed recommended I download the app which I couldn't. I have mobile and land line with you The service was OK before #NBN came to our area

  • MStevensonAU Muz (@MStevensonAU) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@athinscar @LULZmag @eddotse @AR15COM The block is ISP based. Voda, Telstra and Optus apparently couldn't stay in their lanes and act as service providers. They decided to be 'Proactive' and make decisions on content for Australians. Not a government mandated block, not even suggested - just over reaching.

Optus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ajobbins Adam Jobbins (@ajobbins) reported

@stevebiddle @Kiwiseabreeze Cash use is way down, especially since COVID. I don’t usually carry cash day to day anymore, so you’ll probably be fine without it. If you’re only here a short while, maybe roam, but if you need a SIM you can do eSIM right from the Optus app, or stores at airport

  • csscoreboard Cust Service Ratings (@csscoreboard) reported

Optus: Optus is the absolute worst!! They have been overcharging us by double for over a year and a half. Insist w

  • 90s90s90s90s 90's #JNGL #TRIBΞ #MTC🌿🦍🌿 (@90s90s90s90s) reported

    Bloody optus service is ridiculous

  • suzannelolsenau Suzanne Olsen (@suzannelolsenau) reported

@Christi49154364 @xskinn That's why i said try. I'm with telstra and they're good. But might be a bit pricey for Ian. Exetel are ok but iinet are great. Internode are poor. Optus is poor.

  • trevorlong Trevor Long (@trevorlong) reported

Optus, on the issue of Capitalisation of the word Boost - claim that should not be a focus, and simply labels the "tools" within the "Living Network" #BoostVOptus

  • MattWatson1 Matt Watson 🇺🇦 (@MattWatson1) reported from Launceston, State of Tasmania

So @Optus still hasn’t solved my @OptusSport subscription problem. That’s despite providing their online chat with a plethora of detail. They really do suck. They just keep beginning the case anew and asking me to explain the problem

  • TRT_Revisited Tyrone (@TRT_Revisited) reported

****, my Optus sport is lagging big time.

  • footyindustryAU sportsindustry (@footyindustryAU) reported

@BrettSprigg i think it could work if you can have two decent grounds close to each other. Problem is thats really only available in Melbourne (MCG/Docklands), Sydney (showgrounds/homebush/scg), and to a lesser extent Perth (Optus Stadium/WACA) going to mt barker just is weird

  • lost8oy chirag dave (@lost8oy) reported

@VodafoneAU We are Vodafone's customers from last 12-13 years, i have been using the service way before you bought 3. Recently we were told to leave if we're not happy with what's on offer and go to @Optus because they provide better deal and you can not match.

  • drgntew ahmad (@drgntew) reported

@nat_sinclair93 @lilzzzzza If you were an old school pay tv service you'd be Optus vision. Bad joke hmm
