Hey @Optus I moved house today and notwithstanding 3 weeks notice - guess what - no internet connection at my new house - and btw your “customer service” sucks - just time wasting useless conversations- how does a very long term loyal customer speak to someone who might fix this?

Optus then decided after over 90 mins of explaining myself multiple times to different people on chat, I’d need to wait for a call. That call happened, it was from the wrong department. So they had to transfer me. After 2 hours I got some help. “So what can we do today?” 🤯

@optus can’t call me and I can’t call them because I don’t have either a business or a personal line. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. Do we have any options that don’t leak peoples private data to randoms in Australia? How absolutely incompetent and stupid.

@Optus hello, I received spam email this week claiming to be Optus & confirming that I had increased my laptop data usage with Optus. I never increased my data usage. Can you now confirm with me that my laptop/mobile plan hasn’t been changed? Thanks.

I'd blame the government before pointing a finger at SBS.

@Optus have “technical errors” if you are trying to get technical help with NBN. That’s what I was told when transferred to NBN tech help desk, after another ridiculous amount of phone time.

Something just happened with my @Optus connections earlier. Must’ve been an area outage, for ~20 mins. Lost home internet, mobile data and phone calls, and even my spare amaysim data SIM couldn’t connect either.

@ozdj I hated moving to the NBN never had so many outages, I am with Optus had been for 20 years prior and hardly a problem since the NBN I have been down at least 3 weeks in 2 years
