Daevid Anderson (@DaevidArt) reported from Perth, Western Australia@Optus what is going on with your tech support? For a month at least the only update I’ve received is that the ‘fixer team’ won’t respond to your customer service people? I’ve gotten nowhere for 2 months and my issue is still unresolved..

Jamie (@jamieeedward) reported@Rizzabeast I had a disgusting phone interaction with outsourced staff in the Optus Nbn install team, the first issue was a computer error, which I understood but asked to escalate to a supervisor, this guy had no customer service skills, talking over me, i asked to talk to his supervisor

Satoshi Goy (@satoshigoy) reportedThe fact that the emergency AusAlert didn’t reach Optus customers who had no Optus coverage, despite Telstra towers being available, is absurd. An emergency warning system should use any available network to deliver life-saving alerts—not fail because your own carrier is down. In a disaster, network loyalty shouldn’t determine who gets warned. This needs to be fixed before the next emergency.

Evans Electric (@tsport100) reportedA guy moved into a new apartment. Only “official” internet was FTTN NBN — $90/month for a pathetic 30 Mbps down max. He called Telstra and Optus. Both said “5G Fixed Wireless not available at your address.” He checked a cell tower map anyway. Half a dozen towers within a couple km. Bought a GL.iNet GL-X3000NR 5G router + built a DIY 4x4 MIMO LPDA external antenna. Result? 800 Mbps download / 170 Mbps upload. 25x faster. $75/month. Same building. Here’s exactly how he did it 🧵

Kristen Holden (@kholden) reported@LeeshieV @Optus And instead of celebrating not getting this garbage you let them know?

Mohib Ullah Shareef (@Mohib_Leo) reported@1amsharky @DeafMango ENG had better bowlers last time around. This time they don't have quality bowlers. They did really well in the last Ashes down under when they got bouncy decks in Optus, MCG. If theres a flat deck then it would end up in draw as neither teams could take 20 wkts on those surfaces
-
Ross Vallance (@ross_vallance) reported@blu_boys @Optus If you bank with commonwealth they have a deal with more. It uses the Telstra network, usually 25% off with an already well priced plan.
-
Richie_Night Owl (@richardmelb05) reported@Optus It could take a couple of days for the problem to be fixed

Shattered Convoy (@JaceDarkfire) reported@primal80124 I got back into collecting christmas 2024 going into 2025 and I had no clue about transformers other than the live action movies. The last time I thought about them was when I was a kid. When I saw Shattered Glass Optimus Prime, I was blown away. Purple is my favorite color He instantly became my favorite. There isnt a SGOP I dont want good, bad, Or ugly. More specific answer to your question is ER SGOP he was my first and I have the most fun fiddling with him. If i had to choose just one it would be MMC Optus Prominon SG

J Labs (@jnj_pro) reported@Optus Then I was forced to log in again, after entering OTP, I got redirected to the login page again. You are a joke @Optus 🃏

allyann (@me_allyann) reported@hardenuppete @originenergy They should be forced to pay for credit tracking for each customer that has had their account hacked for 12 months like Optus had to with Equifax.
