No one believes the government is at fault for the Optus issue. It's OPTUS that's at fault. Not "hackers", not "the government". OPTUS. #insiders

I find it poor how @Optus is wasting money blasting apologies on electric billboards rather than using the money and resources to upgrade their systems security like literally walk past 7 sign's in one street with the same apology message I'malready thinking of changing provider

...have major brand damage for years to come. But let's not forget that Optus is the 2nd largest telco in Australia - an underdog to Telstra that paved the way for a more competitive market and greater choice for consumers...

@ichimikichiki @AnnastaciaMP @TMRQld Once you get your new CRN, your old CRN will no longer be valid ( cant auth with it). Also you will need the breach notice emailed to you from optus to receive a new CRN (cant just say "optus hack") What nightmare? I see no issue with getting a new CRN?

@Optus Or you can fix the timezone on your towers.

@InsidersABC If you think the Optus hack is bad, could you imagine a hack on one of the real estate tenancy application platforms? Tenancy application platforms ask for far more personal information than Optus. Any way forward here?

@Optus I'm overseas. I need to add the roaming package to my mobile, but the app errors out, the website doesn't have the option to do this. The chat in the app shows an error and doesn't load and the web chat also doesn't work. Can you help?

@georgehahn @profgalloway Very much a hot topic in Australia last week as a major telco, Optus got hacked and thousands of former and current customer's data released and sold.
