Why should the general taxpayers of Aus be expected to pay the replacement passport fees for those who lost their data through the Optus hacking. It is Optus problem not the public of the Country. If Optus was hacked Optus is responsible

@heidimur In WA Transporth uses Fibre that runs thought every station and Private Wireless (LTE/4.9G): Transperth doesn't use Telstra or Optus for train-to-ground data. They built a custom, secure wireless network with 160+ dedicated radio masts along the tracks using licensed spectrum.

  • MissIgraine
    Miss Igraine (@MissIgraine) reported

@clarkes I don't think it's 4G specifically that causes the issue, it's that we have one major mobile network operator, and two others. Between them they don't provide comprehensive coverage across the country because of our sheer size. And they don't play together. Except Optus & TPG

  • ManaImagine

@MickamiousG @Starlink I got Optus net and have had no problems at all.

@chrissmithonair @optus_support Good luck mate. Optus support is useless. Took me 6 weeks to link internet and mobile account from here in Australia

  • _Whale_fish_
    Pak 🇦🇺 (@_Whale_fish_) reported

@VoteLewko @Starlink Ah, look, some competition! How terrible. Telstra and Optus will be forced to improve their services. Brrrrr

  • Offerandextend
    LM (@Offerandextend) reported

@Wolfie__Bear @Cotty_Merv @Telstra It’s like he’s hoping Telstra will pick him or thank him publicly? Imagine my frustration when a major corporation that keeps increasing their prices can’t even get a service working which puts people at risk 🤡. It’s like when Optus went out and people literally died
