    @actualeyez @Optus Yeah they are one of those doing this ‘subscription’ invoicing. They also don’t issue a bill for you to check before hand just an invoice after they have deducted the amount. What if they mess up & over charge & take your money if you do have it too? I bet not refunded quickly.

    I saw one other post from someone else saying they were having internet connection issues with Optus. Is anyone else? Mine seems to go off overnight at some point & then kicks in when I turn on the fetch box after lunch.

    Don't think anyone realises within 10 years, it's possible that Onlyfans will be hacked. Just like Optus and Medibank. Doesn't help that the media are blowing it up like it's a potential way to become famous either. It's something everyone on it will eventually live to regret.

    @Kanga561 Majority of my details have changed since then luckily but it's bloody stressful isn't it. I hope you don't get too much trouble from it. It's absolutely bullshit. I had it happen with optus, now this. It's beyond a joke.

    @Optus None of this helps. You couldn’t help me when it happened last year and I don’t doubt the answer will be the same again tomorrow. What the app says vs what my phone settings say are two completely different things.

    I spoke to @Optus about cancelling my service and part of the package to keep me was a 12 months subscription to Equifax - so wait, do I need it or not? I don’t think it should be an optional extra 🤨

    @Asher_Wolf @pully8 @OAICgov I had a free month, the following day after it expired Optus was compromised. I wanted to cancel my account prior to the day before the free month ended. So I took my modem back, but was told I could only cancel the account if I bought the used modem. If I had a faulty modem YES!

    Optus we scraped through,never been a customer, now Medibank hacked.... Needs to change,companies holding personal data. Why do they even need to ? After validation the only detail they should store is for payment, no licence, no passport, birthday...

    Online licence replacements are now available for affected Optus customers. Effective immediately, South Australians affected by the Optus data breach will be able to apply for a replacement licence online via their mySAGOV account - without having to attend a Service SA Centre.

    Seems like @Optus is going to avoid the repercussions of a data leak. Maybe a good chance to look at their offering and price it accordingly to their network quality. Lower prices to add customers.

    Disappointed with @Telstra customer service. Told to make an appointment to buy a phone despite it being in stock. Another store couldn't serve me until the next day. Went to @Optus and though they didn't have stock, they were more than willing to help. Ended up buying on @Amazon
