  @VodafoneAU #Optus gave my friend a top of the line phone 5 months air time and data free for being a loyal customer of 30 years. Now that's a brand I want to be with! What have u done for me being 20 years and failed at all fronts to me!

  Problem of 4G Outage, there was no reported outage, if you are experiencing outage, you really should telephone this in to technical support team; There's 4 different types of 4G & other network protocol, Spectrum & Plus that info helps diagnostics.; Optus Customer Service 131344

  Good to know it's only the customers and not Optus that's affected. #OptusHack It is a combination of your name, date of birth, email, phone number and/or address but it is important to know that Optus’ network and Optus services including mobile and home Wi-Fi aren’t affected🤬

  @andrewzed3 @TurnbullMalcolm I have tried to use it after having @optus connect the business plan with a charity I volunteer for and it’s embarrassing. We will keep the ADSL as long as we can and try to find a better solution. Australian’s have been ripped off!

  @Jeremy_Kirk How stupid it was to expose api without proper credentials and store them as clear data and easily queryable. Also no api limits enforced. Clearly the second source might be someone from Optus IT(dev or tester) who knew how api queryable with right parameters.

  @CarlitoswayAus @Jeremy_Kirk Not really relevant in this case, they've got literally enough data to start a bank account in your name, potentially. There's literally nothing you can do to stop that barring hiring a third party service to monitor your credit, which is presumably what optus will do.

  @RealNickHodge @Dannyjboom Most private “blockchains” copy the data into a DB for speed and leave the “blockchain” as the audit record. So really blockchain replaces just that functionality that exists in an SQL do and doesn’t do it that well. But again, with Optus issue, a diff DB wouldn’t have changed it
