    @CharlesSzulc Telstra will appear before a Senate inquiry into its outage, starting next Friday. Senator Henderson is involved in the (apparently ongoing) Optus one. It'll be be interesting if she now asks questions of Telstra, as will be forthcoming media reports.

    @Adrian_Arciuli @FIFAWorldCup AFL stadiums are not built to support football, I’d take Optus, Adelaide Oval and the MCG off the list! Probably one of the reasons we have never won a World Cup

    @AdityaS41869751 @randomcricstat Heads batting at the Optus to England off the back foot mainly But yes these drop in pitches on multi sport grounds are awful they break up and crack so easily or you leave enough grass on the top and it’s like your playing on a minefield

    @strangebaaza @RjeyTech Well, I beg to differ. My previous fold 4, S22 ultra, fold 6, the current fold 7 and s26 ultra all had or have green line screen issues while my iPhone 12 pro, iPhone 14 pro max and 16 pro max still going strong, no issues whatsoever. All cost pretty much the same but Samsung quality is subpar, and service is shite. I still ordered the fold 8 as currently it is available for $0 via Optus Harvey Norman Australia. Bet you, it will also likely have this screen issue. No matter what Samsung does, somehow manages to create overpriced paperweights.

    @Naymmm_ @stupidtechtakes *actually the governments fault for whatever stupid reason, they forced Telstra/TPG/Optus to do these blanket bans on VoLTE capable devices if they weren’t sold locally for whatever reason

    @twensor @FetchStep sadly its totally on form for telstra. remember when a small fire in their chatswood building took out the national SMS network. where i live telstra, nbn, optus and vodafone are all on a 4 hour battery backup, while essential energy schedules regular 8 hour outages.

    @Tiger27745120 Thank the lord, thought i was the only one. am on the phone to optus now. The day before the ausalert message i was forced to update my phone. a S25 Ultra samsung. Ever since that and simultaneously the AUSALERT message i have nothing but connectivity issues.

    @strangerous10 And they pushed back at global roaming as well. Happens as a default in most countries. Would save a lot of problems if Telstra or Optus shared their networks when network problems arose with any communications provider in Australia 🇦🇺 @AlboMP

    @Kate3015 Kate i think the Labor communication minister Anika Wells should be the one getting the kick up the arse because she was in charge when optus had their outage and said she was going to fix it obviously she hasn't
