@Optus hello, we got a new plan yesterday and the sim is not yet activated. Not in store, not later as told, not thanks to the online chat agent today, and I can't find the way to do it. Kinda need to be able to use the phone... please help.

@Braxeoswow @Optus I’d like to know the answer to that same question @Optus I call and then told the system to check is down. Pathetic service. This happens all the time in inner north Brisbane.

@annkozma723 @OlivierElzingre @steven_kolber I suspect it was an internet service provider problem. @Flipgrid grid is pretty hungry and @Optus was not playing fair.

@Optus Thank you. It’s a pity your chat help couldn’t check this. Or at least advise me to look at it. I was asked to reset my phone, remove my SIM card, change various settings. Each of these solutions were suggested multiple times despite advising none of them corrected the issue.

@GaryNunn1 Aldi mobile uses the Telstra network without the Telstra price... but not sure if it supports things like multi devices or Apple Watch - I put my husband on $35 Optus plan (plus $15 to link iPad and the watch was free for the first year) with 30gb

From the evidence I have to conclude that @Optus don’t have anyone working in a call centre. They just play music at you until you give up. #service

I just switched from @Optus to @TPG_Telecom 1 week ago. I ordered my NBN and the modem has arrived, but no one came to instal it after few days. The bloody customer service is terrible, worst than @Optus!! I had to be in chatRoom in line, ticket number 600 and after 9 hours...

@VicBStard @NBN_Australia Makes sense. If @Optus had of kept the maintence of the cable up to standard before selling to the NBN then it wouldn't have been an issue. That being said I don't get why the NBN didn't just fix the issues.

@Optus @RunnerSA18 this breach is bigger than Optus. Australia has a "paper hunger". That need to copy and secure personal documents at will. Instead of relying on staff to sight and declare, based in name and birthday and month, not year. It isn't necessary to hold docs to supply a service.

@GordyPls @tobyallen I mean, Optus tech support once told me that if I had more than 10 devices connected to my router that the internet would run out before the last devices could get any connectivity, so they’re not far off.

"I’m disappointed that we couldn’t prevent it" -- Optus CEO. There was nothing to prevent, all you had to do was keep the data safe. There was no attack, this was just negligence. This comes down to a bad practices and a bad internal culture @Optus #OptusDataBreach #databreach

@VDejan0000 @MailOnline my guess is that Putin has never heard of Optus. and who's behind Optus? The Singapore Government owns Optus. "Singtel Optus Pty Limited (commonly referred to as Optus) ... It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singtel."

@virgotweet Absolutely disgraceful. How can Optus customers, myself included, ever possibly be compensated for such a disastrous breach. Infuriating. If we as customers are used as pawns for fraud, IDs stolen etc, how will Optus compensate and support us individually? I feel they wont.
