@VictorDominello Poor effort on your part. Why make the public pay before reimbursing when. You know this is Optus responsibility? Weak

@bridgerollo @abcmelbourne The issue is, we have to pay for it upfront currently. Good luck getting @Optus to reimburse. 🙄

@TheShovel The same Optus that got a debt collector to ring my 90year old grandmother in her care home chasing me up for a $60 debt they’d failed to inform me of as they’d transposed two of my addresses so their letters never arrived. Couldn’t happen to a nicer company.

Optus data hack reeks of a nerdy 14 year old that’s been banned from the PS4 so had to find entertainment elsewhere and accidentally got in trouble with his parents/the AFP

@MavaAU @SallyLawry Still not understanding how a criminal act is tied into corporate greed. Optus got the bad actor to destroy all data and apologise today… probs cost a few Dogecoins…

@NewtonMark @Optus Doesn’t fix much. Ask any security expert. Unless they change the actual licence number not just the card number, it’s not doing much People need to understand this all they will have a massive false sense of security. Other states full replacing why not nsw

The Optus security fail has only just begun. There's no way all 10 million files have been deleted. 🙄 If Optus hasn't paid the ransom it's because the hackers have found another buyer. IT'S TIME that corporations are RESTRICTED from the amount of personal info they can ask for!

@niphal You’re not the bad guy in mixing up Optus and Westpac

@WonderfulDay01 @RonniSalt @Optus Comms people argue with senior staff about getting on the front foot early. Executives put their heads in the sand and comms people urge transparency. While they argue it all goes to **** and the CEOs call in the unaccountable and expensive crisis consultants.

@9NewsSyd NSW state government is not helping. I went to Service NSW today to change my driver license as it has been compromised. I completed all the requirements, but they have been told that Transport NSW said NO for compromised Optus customers.
