@Telstra Hi Dave, we finally had a technician come out Friday arvo. Guess what he found? When the NBN was installed a year ago, one of the parts used was corroded. Almost 2 years of complaints from us, 2 years of @telstra doing exactly what you are doing now - assume the problem is me

MikeyMike (@LikelyVictorian) reported
@MoaniePandium @DanielBleakley Hey did that in 2020. They watered down the NBN back in 2013.

@australia_wake @DanielBleakley Oh I see. Yes but that's just NBN. The problem isn't fibre, it's design and poor training.

@jfwfreo @AlboMP And there are probably some customers happy with FTTN with a nice short copper run (e.g. FTTB) and see no reason to spend taxpayer money upgrading it to FTTC. Why should others be left behind because you are happy with your NBN service?

@australia_wake @DanielBleakley I refused to get NBN (No Bloody Network) when it became available in my area (Thornbury). I got a mobile internet hub, and I get 5G speeds with none of the drop-outs. And being a small business, I can share data between my handset and home

@AlboMP My daughter tried to order nbn and was informed due to lack of hardware, nbn was not offering hfc service for the time being. She lives in Armadale. No eta, just the option to register interest and you’ll be notified.
