@Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia Another day, another outage. Will I get internet back before 6pm, or will I continue to lose customers?

change to fibre then I would need a fibre to ethernet adapter and then I would connect Ethernet into the WAN port on my modem. And besides DODO supplied my hardware, not NBN, NBN Australia (Under new management of the Vatican and Rupert Murdoch) never talks to retail customers

@portusprince @TonyHWindsor @alyxei1 To give us a third rate NBN Get ride of the Gillard ETS (not a carbon tax) which would be handy now Good policy is good policy but Abbott proved they were willing burn the house down to win & the LNP haven't changed at all It's win at all costs

@Telstra @brad37964540 This is affecting me also on Sunshine Coast. All day. Same issue for my neighbours. If NBN got knocked out I'm guessing the fallback to 4G choked the system...

@David_J_Harley @NBN_Australia @TPG_Telecom Ok I now get an understanding of the issues. It does sound like a TIO issue now. What type of NBN technology are you connected on ?

@David_J_Harley Sounds similar to a problem I had. I’m with Aussie Broadband (they are great). They got onto NBN Co who ended up fixing some issue at the node. It took 2 visits from NBN techs for them to realise that’s where the problem was. Tried to blame my equipment 1st.

@GarbageDotNet yeah NBN's gigabit wholesale offering is 1000/50, if you want symmetrical you need to go with an nbn enterprise ethernet service, or buy a private fibre link from aapt/vocus/etc there might be some areas (like opticomm etc) that do it, but i'm less familiar with them

@jamiesonmurph Pursue all he likes, it won’t happen. Too expensive to build, takes too long to build, too expensive to operate ( ie power price is astronomic) and no one will invest in it. If Govt does it (God help us!) it will make the NBN look like a well managed bargain.
