Kudos to @NBN_Australia Was having internet troubles (upload speed of 0.2 Mbs, which was very bad for sending emails with attachments). Technician came at the appointed time, climbed up a telegraph pole to replace a rusted and corroded part, everything now good as gold.

Why does @NBN_Australia not have disaster recovery plans for simple power outages? I've invested thousands in emergency power, they've apparently invested zero. The local pizza shop was up and running on a generator within 24hrs ffs.

@TammyWolffs @abcnews Usually the impact to 4g or 5g is congestion from people not being able to use #nbn and using their phones instead. There may be some degraded signal strength in heavy weather

@BazzaCC **** I feel old. I remember when it was definitely black & white, & in the Upper Hunter we only had 2 channels. NBN 3 & ABC 5, for fastidious fact checkers

@abcnews You've forgotten that in extreme heat the nodes shutdown to prevent damage, not an issue with other techs, so users on fttn may lose connection due to heat, rain, electrical storms. If only they installed fttp which would actually have required less funding #nbn

@Telstra I need assistance with my fathers NBN service, still having ongoing issues with the service which has been happening for MONTHS now, had a new modem ect snd still the same issues, I’m authorised on the account.
