I use it on the Gold Coast, and I'll likely never go back to the NBN, even though I can get fiber, largely because I refuse to pay for something that is intentionally outdated. Outside of the cities, #Starlink is the answer.

Currently dealing with a $300 bill for installing an NBN fibre box inside which increases internet speed 10 fold, and the landlord is making us relocate it for the amazing low price of $770 (wants it moved 2 metres down the wall it’s on). Ugh

My olds were hooked up 10yrs ago and while they used the existing Telstra conduit to the house, the inside install was terrible - left a big hole in the wall behind the NTU, which let spiders into the house until I found it years later and patched it up.
