@abc730 @ellencoulter This show promoted and supported the killing of the NBN and replacing it with the copper Fraudband. And the ABC fired one of their tech journos at Turnbull's request after dated to suggest that the LNP's copper network is not as good as the original fiber to the home one.

@GrogsGamut Ratios aside - that’s like Nixon blaming JFK for not getting to the moon. Labor had the vision to build the NBN, however, it takes years to build the infrastructure to get people connected. It was the LNP that then botched the job with the current costly, sub-standard network.

@johnb78 I would have to be one of the very few people who can claim my internet service actually went backwards after NBN. The skymuster service is terrible, bloody expensive and drops out. I am not remote, only outer suburbs. On it because of hilly terrain, and no fixed service.

@botliff @MikeCarlton01 My NBN died last year. Provider did tests, no, NBN will have to fix. Never been brilliant, drops out with heavy rain or if neighbour logs on. NBN guy arrives, said house was ok, would check node. Gone 2hrs. Had to replace 300m of corroded wire! High quality system!!
