@MikeCarlton01 Why is anyone surprised? Labor had the NBN all sorted & ready to roll out. Then along came the LNP & now the NBN is *****. The LNP couldn't organise a root in a brothel with a fist full of fifties. The passion fingers **** everything they touch.

@chuqtas @DoctorKarl Still waiting for you to to name an alternate Aust wide broadband network other than NBN Muskovites think Starlink is this wonderful stand alone technology, it is not. In its current configuration it is just another way for people of connect to the NBN or similar.

A power outage has impacted our network this morning, disrupting internet services in Victoria and impacting our support and contact centre as well. Our techs have sprung into action and nbn services should now be resolved. (1/2)

@PengillyMichael And expensive. There is a reason Toshiba and Hitachi cancelled their in progress plants. Both citing cost. Hinkley Point C is $43b AUD. More than the country was willing the spend on the NBN. Nuclear won’t happen. It’s way to expensive. You’re an idiot for thinking they’ll happen

@ShortFu5e @DoctorKarl Starlink is absolutely not better than NBN. Long ping times due to being satellite service, slow upload, doesn't work well in the rain, about 1/3 more exxy for comparative speed. Starlink is a last resort option

@sullmcintyre @elithrar Nice. I had to cancel NBN in Camperdown (before 2018 when I lived there) due to regular dropouts. Fortunately a local provider (TPG) offered the same speed and it was sable.
