@ToneSaysGoLeft I was so relieved when he left, my boss and I cracked up about the 5G, omg they go on with some ****. What are they going to do when the NBN gets shut down because 5G is faster and far more efficient. Are they going to give up their phones?

@JackEllingsen @Peter90666913 Exactly right. LNP promote FTTN as replacing majority of copper with fibre, but deliberately didn't mention they would leave the part of the copper which causes 99% of the issues with reliability and speed and requires significant maintenance to keep working. #nbn.

@BethanyinCBR I'm not sure it's even that sinister. Very possibly it's just a bunch of blokes who don't really understand technology suggesting poor policies. Not entirely dissimilar to how we got our NBN.

Heya @Optus I'm currently waiting to chat with someone on your app as to why I should pay $133 dollars to terminate the "free" "landline" that came with my nbn service, which I have to cancel, for which there's a $167 fee which I vaguely expected, but I was told originally…

@KnRaiCos seriously??? That's so dodgy what ******** we weren't properly informed about the fact we can't have nbn but that's even worse for you

@NBN_Australia This still doesn't help... My question was: Is there a number I can call to speak to someone to get a quote?

  • beeawwb
    Zaphod B-obblebrox (@beeawwb) reported

Essentially I connected to my phone - which also didn’t work - until I set my VPN to a Denmark exit node. After it had successfully connected once I was able to set my network back to its normal NBN connection and it connected ok.

@NBN_Australia Is there a way to speak to someone about getting this moving? Everytime I call, your phone system ends up hangig up on me stating I should go to the website. Its a terrible user experience.
