@telstra I've had 3 cancelled NBN appointments and it's near impossible to talk to someone to figure out why these appointments keep getting cancelled. I'm not getting the internet service I'm paying for. Give me a reason to stay with Telstra.

  • DebHoggoz Deb Hogg 📚🐨🦉🏝🌺🙏😝 (@DebHoggoz) reported

I've lost track of the number of times I have either rung @Telstra or had messages from their social media team as we continue to navigate the appalling service being provided by Telstra NBN at our home. Here we are again this morning with my husband unable to work from home!

  • ambro96 ambro96 (@ambro96) reported

Constant drop-outs with @Telstra @NBN_Australia Amazing how Australians have to put up with paying premiums for a service that is just terrible @Telstra_news #nbnsucks #telstranbn #techfail

  • MrHodgepants Hodge (@MrHodgepants) reported

@john_c0nner @DoctorKarl $70 billion for the original planned optic fibre NBN vs $56 billion for the WWI-era copper infused one we got. So no, not "hundreds of billions". And labor cost is the same either way (unless you count ongoing costs, in which case the copper network is more costly to maintain).

  • mickjoebill mjb (@mickjoebill) reported

@techAU @NickRossTech @NBN_Australia The opposite is the case for businesses, free installation if you are in an existing landline network, they recoup costs by charging a high month ly fee.

  • DarrenKilminst1 Darren from Newy (@DarrenKilminst1) reported

@johnb78 True but our 2nd rate NBN will continue to incur large costs due to the poor state of the copper network. A network Telstra happily sold for a motza.

  • MarcWigan Marcus Wigan (@MarcWigan) reported

One of the buried #nbn stories is the poor quality of subcontractor monitoring. I am aware of even FFTN customers who have driven corrections through the opaque system to get excellent results even from initially appalling FFTN service

  • johnxenos John Xenos (@johnxenos) reported

35 minutes on hold with @telstra and I'm yet to speak to an actual person - 2 outages in my first 2 weeks on @NBN_Australia and no support in sight.....tell me again how this was supposed to be a superior solution...

  • Internode Internode (@Internode) reported

@Adrisis83 Thanks for reaching out, Adrian! Nothing widespread was reported. Have you tried restarting both the modem and NBN Network Connection Device? Turn them off for a minute, turn them back on, wait for the lights to settle then see if you'll be able to connect again. -John

@DeanBarnett @NBN_Australia Yeah, that’s why I never got it quoted before. What a joke.
