    @DWybar2 @robb_j_m @Optus Change providers. Aussie broadband were great in pin pointing the issue, providing all the info to nbn to prove there was an issue and getting it fixed.

    @NBN_Australia @iiNet Why is my internet connection like something from a 3rd world country? The connection is up and down like a prostitutes knickers! I live in Empire Bay, NSW, not feckin Outback Australia!!

    @eevblog this is why we have a fixed wireless connection as a backup, the NBN backbones they're connected to rarely go down

    @cuffs1971 @robb_j_m @NBN_Australia Eh? You're saying, that because Australia has economies of scale, that fibre is more expensive?!? That's upside-down world! NBN has *way* more customers to spread the infra costs over. If anything, fibre should be cheaper in Australia than NZ, surely?

    @robb_j_m This of course ended up driving the total cost of the NBN through the roof as they had to take on copper lines that had not been maintained properly for over a decade & assemble a franken-network copper, fibre & HFC networks that had massive maintenance costs.

    @robb_j_m I was that happy with the FTTN NBN I had I went with Starlink when it was available in my area in November 2021. I know I can now get FTTP , but I put up with an ordinary service for for a long time and can’t be bothered changing.

    @eevblog If that is the mobile plan you bought, TBH it was to be expected. Every NBN customer in that same are is looking for an easy temporary solution......
