  @BanderaBeau @BikoKonstantin1 @AlboMP It doesn’t work because each government is interested in keeping power that the next government wouldn’t implement the next step. Massive changes like this can only get over the line if the solution is obvious & unanimous. Even then one single government can **** things up eg NBN

  @stevehearne7 @arbsmichael @Marilynrules1 A portion of Telstra was sold for $45b and the rest put into the future fund, totalling $54b+. Telstra is worth $62b right now. This was an excellent deal for Australia. Kevin Rudd introducing the NBN has nothing to do with Howard and Costello and it was also only $11b. Idiot

  @loftwah The NBN was deliberately ****** by Abbott for 2 reasons: a) he was ratfucking Turnbull, and b) Murdoch didn't want his HFC coax stranded. Nuclear never has and never will be financially appropriate for Australia.

  Our NBN is on the fritz so our ISP has thrown us back to 4G. My med prescriptions have somehow been ballsed up. The $160 monitor we had to get for our cat isn't working. It never ends. Why is it so hard? And I wonder, why can't anyone just do their jobs competently any more?

  @KillAuDeepState @abcnews @SBSNews Nrth nsw's nbn news had a report on it during 6pm news. Mostly because of the rioting caused by the 'far right' (pissed off locals). Then pointing out that Nigel Farage is bad for noticing the attempted beheading as well... 😒

  No idea exactly who's staying and who's going (we'll likely find out soon enough), but one hopes Nine proper or 2HD/the Super Radio Network* may pick up some displaced NBN staff. *Come on, ex-NBN News talent can't be any worse than some of the presenters they've got right now!

  @venteaVT My house has starlink, runs at about 160 mbps at best and it’s like 3x faster than the nbn at my parents house, Australian wifi is so bad

  @GusLefty @AJG71 @karlstefanovic Not really sure what your point is. Mine is that the NBN is worthless. Flawed from the start. 5G / Starlink better for consumers. You now seem to agree. Glad to help.
